Thank you for taking the time to make this nice video. I am not a know it all. But, I must point out the job is not that hard. I think your mechanical skills are improving because the first time I did the job, it took me about 20 minutes to remove the inner rubber seal and about 30 minutes for the metal portion of the bushing. The second time I did it I used the golden removal tool. After purchasing that particular tool, I made something similar for my friend to keep. The cost was about 20 dollars in tools. Should mention, that I learned the most when I was young and I had to be resourceful because specially tools were hard to find. I have been at it since 1975 so my experience is a little longer than most z owners. However, I always learning from old timers that have a sage view of doing their best with what they have. One of the thing I see in some of these bushing videos is the lack of importance some people place on properly supporting their vehicles. Good luck with your projects!
@@abrahamlopez1715 i burnt them out, used a corded harbor freight saw for the rest, greased up the bushings (solid isr) air hammered them em, smacked them with the heaviest hammer i could get too. iagl i wanted to kms.
I just tapped and tapped until it finally sat in correctly. They do sell a tool that makes installing the bushing much easier. I believe Z1 Motorsports sells it.
Are you in Port Saint Lucie, FL? I think I have seen this Z before. How are you liking the solid bushings? I’m trying to make my mind up if I want poly or solid.
Yes we are haha. And man I love it, granted it’s way more rough than let’s say a poly bushing but overall an upgraded diff bushing is way better than the stock garbage lol.
Years ago one night I raced a black DE on PSL BLVD. I own a black 08’ Nismo 350z. I want to say it was you lmao. But diff bushings and brace will be the next mods. I’m experiencing the “tear drop of death” as they like to call it lol.

Get a 4 pound sledge next time. Might be easier. Thanks for the vid. Its the next thing I wanna do after the compression arms
Thanks for the advice man. Yeah it’s a tough job but definitely worth it.
@@sleeplessperformance awesome brother. Thanks again for the vid. God Bless
Yo sick install video
Dylan Turner thank you bro
Any issue with driveshaft vibration after reinstallation?
wonder why you own that small torch, convenient
Dabss
My bushing isn’t shot but it isn’t great. If I do the diff brace think I’d be fine not replacing the bushing? Lot of work lol! Good video
You should be okay, but if you really want to benefit I’d do both. But not necessary
ive been doing my bushings for a week now LOL
How did you get it in? I can’t fit the rest of my new bushing in

@@abrahamlopez1715 this video did help with a couple of them tho, the diff bushings were the worst of it. 140k mile welded diff
How did you get the rear bushing in? The subframe support piece is blocking me from hammering it in evenly.

@@sleeplessperformance I see, thanks! did you hit it hard?
Great vid! Thanks for painting my grass 😂😂😂

@@johnnycomelately4257 lmao maybe, but yeah bro upgraded bushing and brace is a must on these cars. DM us on Instagram if you have any questions
@@sleeplessperformance where did you get that gold vertical differential brace or bracket from?
@@Bforbes201 BellRaceworks.
Who makes that yellow diff brace on the right side and rear of the diff?
Bell Raceworks
They discontinued the gold black and red colors now it’s just gunmetal
After all that , are you gonna need an alignment??
8 mile not really because nothing in the suspension geometry changed.
What final drive u running on the vhr Z?
3.53
Hit it with your purse 😆
A sledgehammer will have those bushings out in 3 good hits
