Hi, I have Toshiba TDP-TW300 projector. I was watching movie and suddenly there was sound came out from projector like a firecrackers. I thought lamp is broken, So I ordered a new lamp with housing. and i installed it, but still lamp light is indicate red blinking with beep sound. can u plz advice me to fix my projector?
The projector should warn you onscreen when powered up when the bulb is reaching the end of it's life. If the bulb has already burned out, then the light(s) near the buttons should change color or blink a pattern, rather than just not responding at all. Some projectors have separate lights for different conditions, or even make a beeping sound. Check your manual. Also, try the remote if the buttons on the top of the projector don't respond (or vice versa)

How much voltage is the lamp?
How do you know when the bulb has to be changed? I lent mine out and now the power light comes on but when i press it nothing happens.

but why not change only the bulb .. ? which whould mean I'm going to through away way less .. stuff
