the effect the color wheel in that projector is making on the camera is quite interesting. I don't think i have ever seen a DLP projector being filmed.
I'm surprised it's so vintage since you told me it had so few hours on it! It may be pixelly but from a distance it's certainly readable, and that's probably all the intentions were. Kind of stinks that it's not 3LCD because that was a good improvement, but certainly no complaints for free. I like that power on noize too.
I'm not sure what the use-case for this was. Perhaps it was purchased for a conference room where there were only a few meetings where it was needed, or perhaps it was put into the closet and forgotten about. It certainly is readable. It's also worth keeping in mind that the text in Windows and on the Internet browser is much smaller than what the text would be on some kind of presentation. For free it's great! I am very impressed with the brightness of the unit. The power on/off noise is interesting.
Great video of the Sharp (the Dull) XR-10S DLP the Projector the Jordan! I like that projector! I really wish I had one of the them for my the computer.
You should test it again but setting it up as dual monitors and not mirroring the image. Since You can have the laptop screen set at its native resolution and then tinker around with the resolution of the projector. You can also probably make the image a bit better by tinkering around with the image settings in the settings menu and such. Its only VGA but VGA can still output a good image. Id also test it on a white wall with zero obstructions with all of the lights off while your tinkering around with it. Maybe it could be a good outdoors video/movie screen thing.
2:26 when you hit power button it does a startup sound all different type of projectors they have one of those startup sounds when you hit the power button and my projector is an Epson VS250 brand new and some people don't use VGA they use a special cable called HDMI notice audio and video and HD quality so and good luck on your first projector and you can find other projectors to add your collection is an HDMI projector and you can get an HDMI to VGA adapter for other projectors with VGA one more thing all projectors have a lamp hour make sure the lamp is working well you have to check the hours on it
@@JordanU thank you and one more thing have you play a DVD video and the projector has built in speaker for audio sound and some people have home theater projectors to play movies with
That's a really excellent find, wonder why someone would throw away a good working projector? Great video on the Dull projector with the DLP projection the technologies by the Texas the Instruments!
today I bought a similar Sharp XR 20X projector without remote for $15. I connected it to the laptop like you, but there is no picture like you have in the video. What should I do to get a picture?
Im surprised that you went with a skunk and not a goose. I wish to also get a projector but there quite expensive. I will probably find one for a decent price or free in some time.
In case the projector ended up stinking, the skunk was potentially more fitting. I did search for this model used, due to its age it is becoming relatively inexpensive to obtain second hand.
nice find. nothing wrong with your camera. that’s just how DLP with spinning color light wheel works. it might film better using a different frame rate on your camera. you could find the native resolution by looking up the model number on the Internet -would take a couple seconds I’d imagine..
Most projectors (that I know of) have a “Keystone” setting. That is what adjusts the tilt or angle to ensure that the angle it correct.
Correct, this ones does as well.
I remember the projectors we had in high school, mostly Viewsonic, some Hitachi.
Thanks for letting me know.

Im guessing the "noteview" is a white or blank spot on it as with some office projectors
That is a possibility, I'll have to test that function at some point.

Thanks, the Aaron! Perhaps you can find a Sharp, (or the Dull! LOL) projector at the Will to use with your the computer.
I guess your by these dumpsters where all these gadgets are getting thrown out. Lucky guy! Take care!
That was probably very expensive. Also sharp projectors tend to screw up when it comes to lenses
I believe it cost just over a thousand dollars when new.
Nice projector
Thanks.

I believe the native resolution of the projector is 800X600.

Probably because it's "low resolution", and PowerPoint slides look better in 4K....
The battery leakage in the remote was probably caused by those darn duracells
Of course lol
What ever would make you think that?!
@@JordanU duracells always leak but you have a point, it could be from a different type of battery
@@mikesjunkytech9425 That was intended to be a joke. The batteries being DURACELL was the first thing that came to my mind also.

an excellent projector by the way !
OK then
When we search the Eiki Eip3000N model We have No search result on UA-cam
What does that have to do with the video?

Nice set of a projector
How is one projector a set? You're outrageous.
@@JordanU it works well just I've watched the video to find out
this is the same projector at church i was supposed to fix,, but the power supply had failed. they bought the same model from the eripoff.

Can you hook up an Apple TV to this ? If so how ?
I suppose if you had the correct adapters.
Very nice
Thanks
How do you change the input without the remote, we've tried every button on it but it won't change from input 4
I believe pressing the Up arrow will change the input selection.
Ever try power point
I used to use it in school sometimes.

What about it?
It's the on/off sound
a very lame test
That doesn't make sense.
