Super fun video! Loved that there were other planes flying. Loved the drone shots! Such a cool perspective! We have the real crop dusters flying around here all the time and they are ultra maneuverable!
That pattern you are describing is called a "Circuit", and your airfield seems to have a left-hand circuit. As someone else mentioned, the Cessna 188 is a popular tow plane, the Royal Canadian Air Cadets have a bunch of them. When I was in Cadets, our airfield used a high speed winch rather than a tow plane.
Nathan, I'm really glad you and Abby did this video! Now that Motion RC has discontinued carrying Dynam Products, their once fantastic review of this great plane has now been taken down. The Dusty deserves a good review/demo. So, thanks for keeping it alive.
One word, Gyro ! Also it would benefit from a bigger heavier battery . I use a 4s 4200mah battery , it fits just right and balances on the cg, long flight times too.
I like the details on this crop duster, including the pilot figure. It looks great in the air. Its vulnerability to wind was somewhat disappointing, but I liked its agility. The chase footage showed off this plane very effectively. I also enjoyed the slow, low passes.
Crop Dusting is now a defunct term that has been replaced by “Aerial Application” or “Ag Application.” I've seen a lot of crop duster planes but never seen one that wasn't yellow. I can't find any FAA regulation saying they need to be yellow, so no idea why most of them are. Would be fun to get some sort of RC controlled sprayer to put on this model, even if it was just spraying water it would look cool.
You're thinking of the Piper Pawnee. There are lots of different makes and models of crop dusters. Look up the Cessna 188. It is rarely yellow and when it is, it's usually only yellow trim.
Hay guy looks like a fun plane one suggestion I have is maybe set up a lower rate for your elevator looks very pitch sensitive to me. I really think it would help smooth it out. Good flying and great to see you doing more planes.
Saw a real crop dusting plane today working and doing some steep dives in a small field. It looked just like you're model plane except it was painted yellow and blue. Hats off to those courageous pilots who have such superb flying skills.
The cg in the manual is confusing. Just add some nose weight under the cowel and the plane settles down some, you'll be happier with it. It is pretty capable of flying in wind with a slight forward cg. For reference I got one of these bashed to the back of the cowl. I built it back up. Put a ply firewall on it, a bigger motor, put the esc as far forward as I could, and use a 3300mah 4s as far up as it will go, and added lead to the firewall. Just saying the 2200mah 4s balances just barely to make it Flyable. Also added a plate of ply to the bottom of this thing, ditched the junk gear an added a Great Planes 40 aluminum gear and real tires. Lot of work but the plane was a freebie so didn't cost much to get it going, just time mostly. Also like what you were saying it does get affected by the wind a bit its noticable but not bad once balanced. Probably due to the long wingspan and dihedral.
I came for a ground truck, but when i saw the title, I immediately thought of planes! A descent movie. The plane looks so good with the RC sailors stickers ;) this plane looks awesome! I don’t have enough space to drive a plane, if I had one! Looks difficult! Never drove a plane but it looks fun
Great video but after watching it twice I would dial back the throws a little bit on the elevator and ailerons for sure and add a bigger lipo or some weight to the nose I’ve been there many times myself.😁
Congrats on bringing the plane down in one piece, twice! I’m learning to fly on a light plane & realise how much a breeze affects a slow flier. You had to tussled with a lot more than a breeze. Kudus. P.S. A 10 minute advertisement in the middle of this video. You owe me, for not hitting the skip button.
My experience of this plane is it needs added weight on the fuselage under the cowling. I never did get it to fly the way I wanted it to or expected that it would. Super cool looking, but I have struggled with it.
Needs less elevator throw it was twitchy fore and aft,you could easily add some nose ballast too to make it better in wind and less sensitive, lovely aerial photography and blue skies above your airfield, often looked at the Agwagon and now sold on the model.
Great looking plane. You did very well considering the strong cross wind 🌬 on the landings. Makes it more fun. Great chase footage also. Thanks for a great review flight guys. Cheers and happy safe flying. ✈️😊👍👍
Noice! How about a video about building a race drone? like laying everything that needs to be purchased, how to start flying etc.... Maybe which controllers/goggles are the favorites, which have the most bells and whistles. Fun follow up.....hmmm crop duster plane..... hows abouts including smoke??? =j
Nate, in your opinion, now, which one is the best crop plane you flew here? I saw another video where you seemed to have been having a lot more fun than this.
Nice flying there, Nate. Now you need to add some smoke machines to the wings that you can turn on and off with another channel. Then do some real crop dusting! 🛩️⚓👍
Man, I would try some more nose weight, esp. in the wind. Factory CG isn't always Gospel. Also, I don't really like expo on the elev, but I would think about maybe trying at least 10 percent. Willing to bet it'll fly like a whole new plane.
2:15 Dusty : Don't Look Down ¡Oh Yeah! ¡Whoo Hoo! Time To Spray Those Crops I Want To Race In The Wings Around The Globe Rally Well Hello There You're Ready To Lose Tell You What Ill Give You A Headstart
Awesome! Love that video, great drone footage too 👍🏼 Quick question: do you sometimes use this kind of alarms on trucks? If so what settings do you use? Thanks alot, have a great day Saylors 🤘🏼 ✌🏼😎👍🏼
Oh come on my tiger moth is more of a crop duster than that, I can spray cedar tea and essential oils like eucalyptus mint and lavender all over my flying field.
I believe I got to see your wobble head size⚓on a 68 Chevrolet Camaro . Covered the hood I Love a classic V8 powered car like the RC Sailors! This Dude said meeting Ya was Great So I got to meet the Older Guy that has the biggest ⚓ On a Super beyond words for the condition of this Camaro! Changing the world for some I hate saying it but probably Nate we could see you driving it in a episode of sadness but you two will probably get. Hope all is well with the baby!!! Mine turned 1 year last month!!! Time flys by hahahaa!!!!
TheRcSaylors Gyroscopes prove planes fly over the plains
Any curvature would make gyroscopes useless
Does this make a good Beginner plane for RC?
I love watching you guys fly planes Just wondering if you guys ever flown the kyscho t33 shooting star jet? I would like to see you two fly that jet

Yea!!!! A plane!! Love the drone coverage.
Those shots of the plane against the brilliant white cloud look amazing!! Nice work Abby.
That's a neat looking plane.

Excellent flying Nate !!
Really cool plane guys! Love the different perspective courtesy of Michael Baney. Nice editing Abby!!
Nice video! Good job Mike!

Always love the look of these planes. They also use them as tow planes for gliders/sail planes where I live.
Cool points went through the roof on this beauty with all those cool new RC Saylor stickers! I love it keep them planes coming!😁
REALLY COOL PLANE!! Nate, good build and GREAT flight work!! Thanks Saylors for the fun review!! Abby, really good filmography!! 💟👍😘
At the end of the night when I'm done with the bluesy news I watch your videos last so I can go to bed knowing there is still normal in the world.
Good job on the drone.
I like the details on this crop duster, including the pilot figure. It looks great in the air. Its vulnerability to wind was somewhat disappointing, but I liked its agility. The chase footage showed off this plane very effectively. I also enjoyed the slow, low passes.
Good looking plane, flew well. Good as always review. 👍👍.
my first 4ch plane was a dynam "icanfly". Not the best looking plane, but it performed very well and was pretty durable as well.
Crop Dusting is now a defunct term that has been replaced by “Aerial Application” or “Ag Application.” I've seen a lot of crop duster planes but never seen one that wasn't yellow. I was just watching some videos on real crop dusting planes recently. Cool that you came out with this video around the same time.
That is pretty awesome! What a sweet plane this is, and pretty reasonable for its size! Plans to do a low wind follow up pretty soon 👍⚓😃
Saw a real crop dusting plane today working and doing some steep dives in a small field. It looked just like you're model plane except it was painted yellow and blue. Hats off to those courageous pilots who have such superb flying skills.
Wow, would you look at all the cool points on that plane!!!! They should totally sell the plane decorated like this!!!
Yeah some of our stickers did look very "stock" on this plane I thought 😃 Thanks for the kind words, and for tuning in ⚓👍
Still love the old AT402 looks pretty good .
I especially loved the chase drone video -- but this entire video was your usual bang-up job!!! :-)

Great flying & Great Review!!!!!!!

I love you videos, keep it up😀
Pretty cool plane. Nice flight time. I love when you have the drone follow the plane. Thanks for another great video from the Rcsaylors. 👍👍🙏🙏⛵⛵😀
Nate looks more and more like a dad every video 😂 it's awesome

Nice looking plane ,good job guys 👍
I was hoping for a simulated spray, like a smoke system or something. Still very cool!
Great video but after watching it twice I would dial back the throws a little bit on the elevator and ailerons for sure and add a bigger lipo or some weight to the nose I’ve been there many times myself.😁

Great flying mate and excellent commentary 👌🏁
Thanks for the video 👍
Bet that low wind follow-up video will include some pyrotechnics :-D
They still fly those saw one in the practice area here in Salt Lake City

Nice job Nate. Unruly wind and it didn't brake!
Crop dusters 👊👍. NC MOUNTAINS ❤

Fun follow up.....hmmm crop duster plane..... hows abouts including smoke??? =j
Nice to see a different type of plane. Need to find a smoker to simulate the 'dust'. Also need googly eyes on the wind screens! Lol
It is playing perfect play in this is good everything good I like it embed play I like it that is number one
Wow, that plane really isn't happy with much wind for sure. Not bad for the price, though. Looked like an enjoyable plane to fly if the wind isn't up.
What controller would you recommend for a beginner? You make it look effortless.
Nate, in your opinion, now, which one is the best crop plane you flew here? I saw another video where you seemed to have been having a lot more fun than this.
You guys make me want to get a rc plane
Nice flying there, Nate. Now you need to add some smoke machines to the wings that you can turn on and off with another channel. Then do some real crop dusting! 🛩️⚓👍
Early squad where you guys at (:
You are up late my friend! This video took a while for us to edit. Time to catch some Zzs!! 👍⚓😃🛩
TheRcSaylors love your channel always amazing friends 😎😎😎😊😊😊😊😊😉😉😉😉
I think Nate needs a Lockheed p38 lightning !!
#NOTIFICATION SQAD I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!

Awww I wanted to see Abby fly it.
I really enjoy crop dusting people at work. It's loud in there so no one knows who does it.
I crop dusted my living room just Now
Hahaha! 😂🤣😂🤣
Very nice plane l purchase your plane shots Price
Top speed?
All you need is a bag of flour to spread the crops with lol
Put smoke on this plane to be awesome with this plane btw (:
I cant beleive its flying I don't have any luck with dynum planes
That wasnt a shadow Nate.
@TheRcSaylors Would You Recommend This As 2nd Plane?
If you've basically mastered your first plane, sure. Air tractors are pretty good second airplanes 👍😁😎⚓
@@TheRcSaylors appreciate it!!(:
Gyroscopes prove planes fly over the plains

:-) Nate, do you think a ax3x RX would smooth that girl out?
i hate gas planes when i am flying... i fly much better with no distractions...

Something stinks. I think it's the crop duster
Shame it flys so badly , that was always kinda my day dream job to be a crop duster .
I dont think I could ever fly it☹
Looked like it flew great to me
@@davidhogue100 maybe I should say flys more difficult in wind than a heavier aircraft .....

All is I got to say is to many stickers, the cool factor went down just a touch. Lol
This plane is a piece of shit missing parts nothing but trouble in sealed box
