Oh man Nate, didn't know Pete passed. I always loved seeing him in most of your videos, especially the tire biting he liked to do! Hugs for you bro. Thanks for all your FC work we get to enjoy in places we don't usually get to go to.🙌
So sorry to hear about Pete. You need to take those ferrule bottles on the next Mexico trip for the parties. I started using self fusing silicone tape instead of heat shrink on my cable mgmt.
Big hug for you Nate, I'm sorry you lost Pete. He had a great life and lasted a long time. Losing your pet is one of the hardest things probably harder than most family members. Always a good video!
Always much respect to Pete. He's big part of the channel and with his skills made sure Nate build bikes proper as so not to void the warranty. 17 years long stretch (always wish could be longer) helped with soo much love from his parents. Bravo Pete, Bravo!
Sorry to hear about Pete he was a heck of a mate, and can relate lost both of mine a couple years ago, sweet build as always and grow out that mullet😂😂
Another excellent video! Looks like an awesome ride! Just wanted to say, Rest In Peace Pete! Probably had a lonesome build without him! Have a great weekend Nate!😎🍺
Excellent stuff, I think this is the first bike build where your not half lit! Lol Love the new big bike, perfect for smashing those rocks with. Sorry about Pete, he did live a long time. I've got 4 right now and it's not easy when their time is up.
Spectacular tequila pairing with the build! RIP Pete, glad you were able to get those cranks on without him. You had some gnarly rides on the old SB165, can't wait to see what this one does!
I remember watching your builds on the sb4.5c and sb5.5c! Was wondering if you'd still add the clear tube. Sick bike mate! Sorry to hear about your pupper.
Sick!!! I turned my 27.5 SB165 into a mini DH too. I had been hesitant to make it a mullet, but now that the new frame is out I got a new project! 10mm more travel on a dual crown, I'm wonder if the 48mm or 52mm offset is best suited. Could help with a little advise? Thanks Nate!
“I’m a single-use tool.” 🤣🤣. I can relate! “Weight weenies…find them on the side of the road fixing shit.” 😂😂😂 dude, this is one of your best and saddest builds vids. Thank you! And, sorry for the loss of Pete. I always enjoyed seeing him in the van with you and rambling around while you get ready to ride. RIP Pete.

Holy cow, man. Did not expect to tear up in a bike build video. I love dogs more than I like people. RIP Pete.
Never met Pete but he radiated massive "Good Boy" vibes. My condolences bud.
I watched mostly for the commentary, but the new boxxer is sick....
Another bike build. Some of my favorite videos.
Glad you enjoy it!
RIP Pete. Sorry to hear that. And love to see you running some cables! Always good fun. 😂

Soapy water on tire install! Works like a charm.
Nice build! Cam Zink has a DH bike using an AXS derailleur but I believe it’s custom.

52mm offset on my 29” 180mm Boxxer.
Oh brother sorry to hear about Pete. ❤❤❤❤❤
Sick build Nate bet this one will smash dh laps at angel fire like butter milk biscuits 💯🫡
Why not run the 5DEV Mod Kit for the derailleur? Rip Pete.
Thanks. 7speed is where you want to be for DH. This bike won't go uphill.
RIP Pete the dog.😪
“I’m a single-use tool.” 🤣🤣. I can relate!

The Pete pic tugged at me a lil.
My Coonhound Pete is now 8 years old.
Angel fire at all this summer? Whistler July around crankworx??
Yes
Nice. Hows 180s on your old 165?
180mm feels spot on with the 29" front wheel.
nate no longer with maxxis thats wild
RIP Pete
Can we get another Lefthand video??
The gate keeping is too strong up there.
@@natehills9388 lol, I'd love to see a 47 degree video along with a run down bring the ruckus
Apologies if I missed it but size you went with? I’m 5’10” and thinking Med for myself.
Running a Medium. I’m 5’9”
@@natehills9388 thanks for the quick reply.
Look forward to the first video featuring the new whip.
Nate, what type of brake pads do you prefer or recommend?
I always run metallic as they last longer.
That RED hurts my eyes! Time for a wrap!
RIP Pete!
Drop stuff all over the place, just like me
🐕💜💚🙏🏼
Nate, will you sell me that Ergon saddle in the vid? With the Ergon team logo on the side
Lmk, please lol
