I know what you mean. Mine was a gift from a friend who got it in November, so maybe try again around that time? DMC has the printed cards available, but I don't think those are as good as having the card with the actual floss attached if you can wait for it.
Notorious Needle yeah, I’ve seen the printed ones in store sometimes, and the colors printed never seem to really match the actual floss when they’re put next to each other.

The DMC thread card is hard to find. But we’ll worth it. I have an older one and need to upgrade.

How did you get your dmc color chart?
I ordered it from the DMC website. I had to check the website every 3 days for months before they finally had them back in stock.
