The power bank, external battery pack, that I use is out of date and the newer one has more mAh and is cheaper now, so I have added that option instead.

I've been to many retreats and I also include a small first aid kit, esp. bandaids. Just in case you prick a finger, you don't want blood on your project. I've needed one more than once.

I just went away for two decidedly non-craft related days and almost packed as much stuff as you did for an actual stitching retreat, oops! Great tips though, I love how organised you are with your project bags and those personalised ones are so cool! Might need to hit you up for tips on sewing those soon 😁

Thank you so much for making this video. I have only just started cross stitching a month ago and I'm going to my first retreat this weekend and I know basically nothing so this was very helpful!!

I really like your scroll. I’ve never tried one but I should. I think I would like it. Also, I’m so jealous y’all have retreats in the states to go to! I have looked here and haven’t found any in Germany :/ at least not English speaking ones. I plan on going to a retreat as soon as we move back though!

I believe @stitchilonka is in Germany and planning a retreat. I don’t know if they will be English speaking entirely but she speaks English.

Do you make the cross stitch clutches, is there a pattern you follow?
I use the pattern by Starlight Stitching Co on Instagram. She sells the pattern. I make the clutches just for myself, as I’m not allowed to sell anything I make from her pattern. But she does sell them, just hard to catch one… you have to have fast fingers on the drop.
