Like hearing Bridget’s tips about frugality. I’ve been lucky to get started by grabbing most items from yard sales, Craigslist and eBay. Only have made a few Joann’s purchases so far. The colored fabrics do look real fun to aspire to.

I'm feeling a little guilty because I'm thinking about modifying my current stitch rather than fixing a mistake. Usually, I catch my errors early enough that I don't mind my visit from the frog or the change is so minor that even the designer wouldn't notice.

WOW!! Santa Table Runner is stunning! Congratulations!! And Tree of Life is so beautiful. My oldest WIP is Earth Angel from Lavender and Lace that I started around 1995. I’m so close to a finish on it but I messed it up so much (highlighter and paper was what we did back then)I can’t figure out where I am. All that is left is a confetti heavy area so I could probably fudge it but I have had to frog it so many times. I feel guilty about it languishing for so long. I still love it and want it hanging on the wall. I’ll get there eventually. Looking forward to the Dumpster Fire. Not looking forward to the next 4 years. 😢 I’m so sad and can’t figure out what kind of America we will be living in.

Gotta say, I am totally guilty of avoiding the frog at nearly any cost. I enjoy the not-segmented style of a podcast. Sometimes I find myself anticipating a particular teased finish or something and unconsciously get distracted if that is not for a while. Also, I usually give thanks with only one N, just sayin'. 😂 Bridget, that table runner is fabulous! You should add a specific addendum to your property insurance policy or maybe buy a bond for it. That is absolutely priceless!❤ If you're thinking about your next epic project, the 12 days of Christmas by Liz Matthews would also make a spectacular table runner.😊

Hi and thank you for your video. Like you, my first attempt I used the larger holes to go in and out of. Using 10-count and 3 strands of floss, I can't imagine how I'd ever be able to go in and out of the tiny holes. However, my test piece (a simple letter "L") seemed to have some wonky stitches that were not quite lined up. QUESTION: Do you still feel the proper way to use waste canvas is going into the smaller holes? Thank you for your anticipated response.

I know my cats will sit on my needlebook and I can see it now a big dirty pawprint or drool on there. Mine will have to be sturdy enough to have a damp cloth or even get washed a couple times.
