What is the chance of some angry Russians dropping a cow on you in the middle of a sea? Those Japanese must have been the luckiest people on earth by some standards...
My guess is they would call themselves unlucky... In any case the story is not true which is sad because its a great story: www.snopes.com/fact-check/cow-tao/
You deffo need to collaborate with some other similar youtubers to get yourself out there, sometimes excellent stuff like this can get lost in the chaff. I came here from RLL but otherwise I would never have known
Well just a heads up in case you didn't know, but Tom Scott just put out a call for guest videos. There's only a few days to get your ideas in but deffo worth a pitch as if he goes for it, you'll get a LOT of new viewers.
A tornado over water is a waterspout. I can't believe you don't have more subscribers. You make great videos you'll get to a million before you know it!
Excellent videos. You definitely have the qualities of most bigger educational-entertainment channels, so I can see you taking off very soon. Your voice is very easy on the ears, and you speak in a very welcoming way. I love the little 'extra' details you add, like text that's related to what you're saying but not actually what you're saying. Stay awesome. See you at the top, buddy.
I remember how once when I went to meet my grand parents in Norfolk there was a swarm of ladybirds. It was like a sandstorm with millions and millions of them. They collected up in piles beside the pavement, and even when you went into shops to get away from them hundreds were indoors as well. It was defiantly one of the most remarkable things I've ever seen.
You make awesome videos. Animation, editing, script- great quality. You deserve a lot more subs than 32k. But I'm certain, you'll get there :) You came to 32k from 1k in a month, so yeah, it's working :D
"Rain. Snow, Hail. All things we're used to see falling from the sky" In Australia, no. I'd kill for it to snow one day without having to drive to snowy mountains..
Give it some time and you will have a million subs your quality is much much better then lots of big channel, please keep making videos. They are so quick but so so educational.
According to Snopes the falling cow story is false. And it does seem like a fantastic stroke of bad luck that something as rare as a cow falling from a plane (which probably hasn't happened many times in history) should happen to hit a fishing boat out of all the non-boat-covered places in the sea it could have fallen.
To be honest the plane wasn't specific than we would have have to talk propulsion and force because a jet going Mach 1 or close to 800 Mph like 1200Kph would certainly desegregate a cows carcass
STR8L8CED So, what are you implying? Snopes have consistently been found to be extremely reliable and unbiased. And they are wholly owned by their operators, so a more independent source of facts is hard to find. You need to triple check your sources...
3:13 There's a BAFTA-nominated short film (~13 min long) called "OVER" directed by Jörn Threlfall that tells this tragic story, in reverse order. It's on Vimeo. I highly recommend it.
a cinnamon roll hit my windshield while I was driving down a road in Utah. I'm still trying to figure out what dropped it, even though I couldn't see any birds.
3:12 I heard about this at school a while ago The guy snuck in the airport and on the runway where the plane would fly to heath row. He climbed the landing gear and when the plane was landing, he fell and died.
When you consider the sheer size of the planet, even just limiting yourself to the Sea of Japan, that anything dropped from a plane hitting a fishing boat, the odds have to be in the neighborhood of getting struck by lightning and winning the lottery on the same day
I remember either hearing from someone or reading somewhere that that there was one time in Texas where it rained jellyfish cubes. Like sliced cubes of jellyfish, not whole ones. I don't know if it's true or not or if that's actually where it happened though, because it's been years since I read/heard it.
Actually, add it for US viewers too. Making metric the standard in the US is only going to come with continual exposure that forces everyone to learn to use it, and the sooner, the better.
Once a girl I know was on her hotel balcony in Australia when she saw a huge spider, so she got a broom and swept it off. Then threw the broom too because she was scared that much of the spider, so she leaned over the edge and yelled "Heads up!" just in time to see the spider spat right on the top of someone's head. P.s. Brooms fall faster than giant spiders.
I once saw a documentary where some disgruntled farmers pushed a cow from a bridge onto a Radio Norwich presenter, whilst he was passing underneath on a boat.
Back in meh Glory Days, I saw some ashes falling from the sky. Us Allies were liberatin' a good ole summer camp of sorts. They must've had s'mores the night before. Then again, many of em' looked unhealthy... they didn't seem to be fed much... Ehhh, the counselors were purdy nice. I mean, we held em' at gunpoint, but they were kind. They all had guns... there must've been a lot of bears or a pack o' wolves around. They even had barbed wire fences! They all seemed dirty. I decided to go check out their showers, and I saw that when I turned one on, some strange-looking green stuff came out. That was creepy. I checked out their stove too; it was large enough to fit an entire person in there! Well, there's my memoir of that good ole' summer camp. Shame it was shut down. Those campers seemed so happy. They kept shouting, "Freedom! Freedom!" I guess they were excited they've been free while us poor 'Mericans were fighting their war. Well, see ya'll later. I gotta go find meh teeth!
Its kinda scary thinking there's a non zero chance a cow could hit me at any moment in time
I'm probably overthinking this

Why the f would they get jailed for claiming their boat had been sunken by a cow?
Insurance fraud, I guess. But apparently the story is false. Too bad, but I guess it was a too good story to be true.
The last thing we need are facts being told as myths. Its possible to have happened.
burden of proof tho

Story about the cow is an urban legend, tracing back to Russian army folklore in 1960s. But it's still amusing ;)
Please make more videos man. They're so well put together, I love em.
That cow story was some Scooby-Doo kind of villainy.

To be honest the plane wasn't specific than we would have have to talk propulsion and force because a jet going Mach 1 or close to 800 Mph like 1200Kph would certainly desegregate a cows carcass
why the hell would a supersonic jet have a cow in it?

I have heard of some strange stuff falling from the sky. Rocks, Frogs, Fish, Acid Rain, to mention a few
a cinnamon roll hit my windshield while I was driving down a road in Utah. I'm still trying to figure out what dropped it, even though I couldn't see any birds.

I heard about this at school a while ago
The guy snuck in the airport and on the runway where the plane would fly to heath row.
He climbed the landing gear and when the plane was landing, he fell and died.
Flying spiders are my worst nightmare. Imagine one of them coming at you.
great video
The fact that those two just straight up ate that shit, no questions asked, got funnier and funnier as the segment went on.
Cows were not the worst thing Japanese people got as "airmail"
The statistical improbability of a cow dropping just right to land on someone's fishing boat is mind boggling o_O
You know? there's a movie here in Argentina which goes about the falling cow thing. I didn't expected it to have been a real thing
Meat Snow is the most metal thing I've heard of lately
When you consider the sheer size of the planet, even just limiting yourself to the Sea of Japan, that anything dropped from a plane hitting a fishing boat, the odds have to be in the neighborhood of getting struck by lightning and winning the lottery on the same day
Don't you just hat it when you land a bull's-eye with a object you weren't attempting to hit at something with?

You videos are great, but please add metric system data to your future videos for your non-US viewers.
I discovered your channel a few hours ago and I started by watching your old videos, sorry.
Actually, add it for US viewers too. Making metric the standard in the US is only going to come with continual exposure that forces everyone to learn to use it, and the sooner, the better.

I find it most suspicious that in almost every video you find an opportunity to use your cow sprite.. I shall investigate.
4:16 Hey, wait a minute.. WHERES THE CHEESE?!
I haven't watched this video yet and I'm guessing it is the OMG Particle
If spiders rained from the sky... I'd stay in my room all day and never leave except for food and bathroom. Wait, I do that anyway.
MinecraftIsForChildren we have similar lives lol
I live in Australia so we have no snow or Hale although we got hale once in Western Australia
The second I saw a bunch of spiders all over the ground, I would be sprinting back to the car. Let alone if I realize it's raining spiders.
Holy crap last night you had half as many subs
With the meat rain, some scientist said that it came from the Meat Belt, which was like the Asteroid Belt, but made of meat.
My dad saw raining fish in Maranduque, one of 7,600+ islands in the Phillipines.
The exact thing I (a person who hates spiders) didn't want to see.
"No boss, there really was a cow falling from the sky, right on our boat, believe me! "
seems biblical to me about the fish thing
I once saw a documentary where some disgruntled farmers pushed a cow from a bridge onto a Radio Norwich presenter, whilst he was passing underneath on a boat.
Reminded me of Monty Python's Holy Grail when the French catapulted a cow and some other animals from their castle.
made me think about hipster cows trying to sky dive for a good 20 minutes
anyway, gr8 video, good job boi
wow. what are the chances that a their cow just happened to hit the boat at that exact momrnt?
"Look mom, there's a fish in the sky!"
"No honey, that's just a nuclear bomb."
10 by 10 is four times as large as 5 by 5 though... I don't know if I can make it through this vid now...
SalaCommander26 Yeah and 5cm2 isn't 5cm x 5cm... This guy has a lot of mistakes like this in his videos 😕
While watching the spider part of the video i noticed a spider walking around on my wall 😂
