Thank you Tank! Music is kind of a passion for me since im 14 years old! For the last 2 ears there are coming crazy things on my schedule. Im Happy people can enjoy my passion as well :)
Well, I knew you were good at dancing, but you’re also proving you’re good at making music! Excited to hear whatever you come out with next!
This is absolutly wholesome.
I hope to see many reactions and react-reactions from you two in the future. Great work. 😊
yeeees kalle!! mach mehr!! ich finds einfach geil :DD
This is perfection dude.
Thank you Kalle for making Music :D I hope there is more to come these songs go hard at Partys 😁
Production-wise, can we also appreciate how it's been shot in 4:3 format? That alone almost gave me more nostalgia than all of the other 90s references. 😂
Okay Im bored, so here's the German translation (+ some explanations)
(source, I'm German and technically a 90s child)
I'm throwing my money
5 Mark (german currency before €) in my pocket
Give me all the "center shocks" (sour bubblegum)
Twist and drink (Dreh und trink=german beverage) from the bottle
I don't care if you like it or not
it's time for a duel
If you loose, I don't have to pay and I'll own your store
Boom boom boom popping Hubba bubba (bubblegum brand) bubbles
Boom boom boom don't wanna miss anything on RTL2 (TV channel)
Robbie bubble - (childrens beverage) the champagne for gangsters
Holding my cat out of the window because he's feeling like Simba
(Chorus)
Oooh
The skateboard's my Ferrari
I'm wearing the pants below my ass
Oooh
I'm riding like a tsunami
Landing the kick-flip even with my Buffalos
(2x)
Hands up, robbery
at the Super Toy Club (TV-show)
Everything in
I'll only leave when my cart is full
GameBoy, Hot Wheels, Tamagochi aiaiai
Jamba-Saving-Subscription (subscription for ringtones)
pixel pictures, best price
Boom Boom Boom
I'm the diddl-page dealer (collectable pictures)
Boom Boom Boom
I'm in the Matrix, Godzilla
Doing a back handspring while rubber twisting/jumproping
a wheelie with a Gokart
Rocking the Discman with Antishock,
I'm absolutely bangable
(Chorus)
I accidentaly pressed the wrong button
And now I think I deletet the internet
I want to play with Nico
But I don't have any mobile credit anymore
So I go outside and ring the doorbell
(Chorus)
Kalle making more Music just makes me happy. He has lots of writing talent, a great voice and the Dancemoves are always fire.
Kalle makes me happy. The mans smile is pure joy.
Man, Tank, you wouldn't believe how much I'm learning from you - as a German!! I'm 58 years old and obviously so out of touch that I had no idea what Buffalos are! And through your channel I'm hearing more German music than in the past 30 years or so on my own. 🤣🤣
I believe it was one of your videos that made me aware of Electric Callboy, and now Kalle Koschinsky. Both are GREAT! So, thank you!! 😄
Kalle and Nico is something we don't know we need so bad! just freaking epic
I'm not sure if I like this one or Castrop X Spandau better. Both are so good. Dream duo!
Kalle seems like the guy you have in every group of friends. The one who doesnt take himself serious, is always in for a good night and i just basically a straight up good vibe around him.
I know he is a guest artist in germany in a few of electrics shows, but i would love to have him tour with EC as they're all just sort of 1 anyway. Loved his spandrau x castrop aswell ❤
as a 2000s Aussie kid, I get all the references here, the culture is ~10-15 years behind, so I experienced it all weirdly enough, I know people who had a black and blue Starter jacket and yeah, Docs and Vans were waaaaay bigger here than Buffalos. and the rubber braclet things never died here, people STILL wear them
Even over here in England Docs and Vans, hell even Converse, were the bigger shoes. I've never even heard of Buffalos until today ngl
@@TaimaNekomusume420 They were really big in the German techno szene and then became mainstream later.
As a kid born in 88 in australia i can confirm that we we're 10-15 years behind...it just stuck around a lot longer...and now we have reverted to 90s grunge and 80s haircuts. It is a strange land
Another thing that makes this feel '90s (besides all the set and music video stuff) is that the entire thing is shot in 4:3. No widescreen 16:9 formatting for you! As soon as you go back to that old 'square' ratio any video feels '90s!
Damn, those Lyrics are absolutely cryptic for anyone born after 2000
Man your german comprehension has improved so much :O ! Congrats man!
Just bought a floor ticket for Pittsburgh (sept 9) … a nice 2 hour drive from cleveland. After watching the Hellfest set yesterday I just have to be a part of this. I am hooked
This one really grew on me. I'm not a fan of the whole boyband non-singing Nico is doing here, but the beat just gets you, and as a german 90s kid this hits home all the way (except for the buffalos, I was a converse kid through and through)
Annnddd now the guys really have to bring you a crate of Robby Bubble when they come to the states😂 I felt like an absolute boss when I drank that stuff as a kid🤣
Right now, Germany is kicking ass in the music scene.... brilliant stuff
I'm really impressed how well you pronounce the 257ers! When I remember earlier days you made a huge progress with your German! It sounds very well, really! Keep it up, Tank and you will become very good speaking German. I'm sure it will sound like you lived over here for years with very little accent then!
I loved my Buffalos so much, I still have 3 or 4 pairs somewhere. And I wasn't a kid anymore in the 90's. 😂
Nice to have strong Scooter presence in the song too!
The last part was exactly what i said on his making of video - i love his voice and ideas and the people he works together (like daniel, christoph, the shillo brothers) just freakin SKYROCKET the production quality of everything and i fuckin love it.
Impressed by how your German seems to be coming along! Sehr Gut, Herrn Panzer.! Fun German music to add to your playlist: Jan Delay, Peter Fox, Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte. Also some German indie stuff if you dig that stuff: Kettcar, Tomte, Tocotronic, Thees Uhlmann, Marcus Wiebusch and maybe the weird & wonderful Fortuna Ehrenfeld
Loved that ultra zoom on the "we're gonna check it out"! This songs slaps hard! Loved it.
I thought it was going to be obnoxious so I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hahaha
Instantly Put me Back in my youth 🤣great Lyrics and a great vibe 😅
Oh man, I remember air walks. They were everywhere!
Don't think i have seen anything music related that has been bad where Kalle or Nico has been involved. So cool to witness these peoples careers. I have nothing but love for them. That said, your reactions are always so fun and relatable. Hope you do some tour vlogs when touring with Electric Callboy. That would be so fun to watch.
Noch nie was von den Schuhen gehört aber das Taschengeld für Center Shocks verballern...oh the memories
Randomly bought a pair of Buffalos at Wacken last year. Best freaking festival shoes I have ever owned.
They were selling Buffalos AT Wacken??!
@@TankTheTech yeah picked them up at some shoe stall in the marketplace bit. They were along side all the fairly standard goth boots.
Imagine not knowing a word their saying due to language barrier yet still getting it stuck in your head! 😂 it's just that damn catchy
I love your reactions and your happiness in this video is really infectious :D Thank you Tank for cheering me up with this
Hello, my English is not as good as it should be, but everything that Finch, Kalle, or Electric Callboy do, they do with the feeling they once felt and you notice that and you just live this feeling again and that that's a good thing. It all happens across the years and different styles of music, but it's awesome. Thank you Tank for sharing this again with the support of your own enthusiasm. All this google translator! Sincerely Tackle!
Thank you again Tank for showing us this music and letting us join and enjoy the music with you! Seeing you enjoy the music, helps me enjoy it more too 🙂 this one honestly slipped under the radar for me! So thank you! Over 20 listens now 😂
Buffalos were so big in France in the early 2000s too. If you were a goth/metal kid, chance you were either rocking a pair of Dr Martens boots, of NewRock boots or of Buffalo
Over the English channel we were just rocking Dr Martens, New Rocks, Converse or Vans. I've never even heard of Buffalos until today.
@@TaimaNekomusume420 guess it was a mainland europe thing? buffalos were everywhere in poland too
same in Belgium, vans and DC's where also very popular. And I think the men from the metal scene preferred ABL over Dr Martens, those where more a Goth thing
I hade 2 French flatmates in yearly 2000 and they rocked Buffalos but but here they represented the 90 so they hade to stop wearing them
Super dug on this video Tank! lol, it was so much fun watching these guys perform in the video. :)
Very happy that I stopped by to check this out!
This song is stuck in my head. I love Nico's voice
I love the song and your reaction to it, they're just dropping legendary stuff these days
great reaction! hope u gonna watch the behind the scenes as well?! that would be dope man, love from germany!
This was amazing, need to go find my playlist from back when I was learning German and update it
These 2 are always magical together and the songs are catchy as f**k!! This song is so much fun!! Thank you Kalle!!!
OMG tbt the 90's when i was a teenager and also my time @university. Parties, afterparties, clubs/discotheques,... And definitely buffalo's or other sort of schoes with those heels. We also wore the clothing brand Zino & Judy😅🙈
I remember the "cool kids" having all the Yu Gi Oh cards and battling it out on the school ground.
Love that I’m not the only guy that remembers airwalks. Them and jnco jeans were where it was at lol
absolute banger
the thing about Kalle making "good music" is that he doesn't try to take the lyrics too seriously, similar to EC with like Hypa Hypa or We got the Moves. Meine Buffalos is not my kind of music generally but its a fun song
You will on the EC Tour in August wear Buffalos, this is the Law ! ^^
90s shoe,candy,t-shirts,bike BMX and jeans 👖 is the best 👌
I wish my German was in a better state, but I get huge nostalgia vibes from this track. I love that he didn't just go for what was cool in the 90s, he went for what was cool to a child in the 90s.
Beyond all that though, the song really brings it. That beat is huge. I like that there isn't too much repetition and it's catchy as hell.
Another banger from Kalle. I'm looking forward to what else he has coming out this year.
That was really entertaining! 🤣
Still have my Minnesota Vikings starter jacket in storage. Had it since it was new as a kid in the 90’s and can’t get rid of it.
Tank! I really dig your vids. The shit you learn about how the music world works and how expensive it is, the realness of what you say, I dig. You should. Heck out my dudes, leather lung : spit in the casket!
Let's go 🇿🇦🇿🇦
Oh Deichkind is absoloute ART.
I'm from NC so I seen so many of those Hornets jackets.
And you're right... Airwalk shoes.
Man. Buffalo shoes were so comfy!
Kalle ft Finch would go crazy hard
Ehre alla
This goes so fxckin hard. Straight onto my playlist
Sooooo Good
Oh yes!
The song is so infectuous 🎉 the language barrier is not an issue at all ❤
The jumpstyle moment had me extremely nostalgic, holy shit
I love this song because of all the references, Nico's voice and the beat. Rubbi Bubble was the drink I always had at my birthday and New Year's Eve the day after as a kid by the way.
I was born in 1999 but I got to know a ton of 90s stuff too
my buffalos were white with a yellow strip on the platform, i was the coolest kid to have a not just white pair in my school 😂
Great music video. I had the magic starter cause of o'niel and 49ers / patriots back in the early 90s
The last chorus beat is soooo euro!
Drops casually that he listens to DEICHKIND and has zero reaction videos on any of their songs! Duuuudeeeeee - come on! ❤
The videos on their youtube channel DeichkindTV even have optional english subtitles on UA-cam!
I was always this chucks- converse kid and still am today at the age of 38. 🤔
Love this 😂
I need one of those jackets, reminiscent of 90s Campri. I preferred Fila over Buffaloes.
TECHNO COLOR T's FTW
As a German, my 90s outfit was baggy pants, airwalks, flannel shirt, t-shirt, base cap, walk-man, inline skates (when I wasn't wearing airwalks), friendship bracelet (from girls that liked me), wallet on a chain, swatch, cannabis symbol on a leather necklace. Listening to 90s rave and punk music. Hair was a self-made Nick Carter cut (but with undercut, so I could switch to skater ponytail)
The lyrics are hilarious. I am only 5‘2 and really hope Buffalos are getting back in style 😂
hey tank i just googled translate it and for what i know about the 90's it is something that will happen ( i was born in 2003). you should translate it if you havnt i know i am 7 months late😂😂. love these videos love dicovering new music. keep grinding
This song is going into my wedding playlist! Lol
Yessssssssssssss
@@TankTheTech you should come and we can jam out to it together!!
Ngl this beat does slap
The kickflip was fantastic! I remember thrasher doing a green people video like that, hilarious!
kalle bringt den BEAT!
I'm originally from Charlotte and you showing that Charlotte Hornets jacket brought on SOOOO many damn flashbacks bro. I do remember damn near everyone having it.
I love how it basically turns to techno polka about 3/4 through
My god. Buffalos bring me flashbacks. Every "cool kid" had them.
I had a Norterdame Starter Jacket. Just because I liked the colors. Had air walks. Jincos (skunks). Nostalgia chefs kiss
Nice to see that other Countries also can relate it. I hope Kalle is going skyhigh from now
Bike + skateboard were ... indeed our ferraris!
Is that a Ferraro in the background lol? The tie dye shirt over a long sleeve lol. Line Dancing..omg the LL Cool Js hat and every baseball cap in the US turned backwards😂😂😂I feel so old.
no way you reacted to Kalle❤
I looooved my cheetah Buffalos in my teens in the late 90's, so much so that I treated my adult self to a black pair a few years ago. Still use them!
I for sure think they were a much bigger deal in Europe tho, with the whole eurotechno/raver vibe. In Sweden they were THE shoe to have, and you definietly got called out if you had the knock offs.
Damn memories of the girls dressed in pastel baby shades of bufflo shoes and then goths and rockers in the black ones , up there with new rock boots and doc martens
The Part with the Center Shock gum I can absolutely relate to this.
Every morning before I went to school, we went to a little shop and bought us some of these.
lmao, the center shocks reference
LIKE IT
i think my favourite line is "ich rock' den display mit anti-schock, ich bin absolut bangbar" because its SO ridiculous what we thought was the hoooottest shit as kids :DD
Wow! I had a Razorbacks pullover from back when they were the powerhouse in the NCAA. Tank bringing the nostalgia again. Love it man.
The song is full of childhood
I used to have buffalos :D
I've lived in the EU my entire life, 15 years of which in Germany and I have no idea about these references. So glad too
Question is: when? Cuz everyone growing up in the 90s and early 2000s will get those. If they weren't locked up in their room for years.
@@MinqApoc guess I was too busy working and adulting in the 90s to be too concerned with horrible shoes
This is like if Electric Callboy and Oliver Tree had a kid. Frickin awesome!!!
Coming home from work,
I'm always chilled after a @TankTheTech reaction about us crazy germans. ❤
man that's a super nice car
I need some Martinelli metal in my life lol so do my kids!
i feel like this will be a thing in music in the future that every chorus' beat will be changed slightly or even majorly
Can't wait for the release of their newest video (Everytime we Touch) at 6 PM CEST tonight. Looking forward to your reaction!
You know we all say: My neighbours listen to a good music.
Whether they like it or not.
Little funny story how Buffalos saved a trip to an amusement park:
I was in an amusement park with friends when I was a kid (maybe 13 at that time), and they had go carts, but you had to be at least 150cm in height to drive and the guy checking that was very strict about that. I was 2cm short, and he didn't allow me to drive. One of my friends was a giant back then (175cm at the age of 13), wore Buffalos and I had the same shoe size...one shoe swap later we had the best cart race ever and so much fun!
