Fun fact, Amy Lee didn't even want the other guy on her track, but the studio forced her to do it.
I read the story somewhere that originally, the label had asked Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park to do it, and then they went and found someone to sound exactly like him (Paul from 12 Stones). He sounded so much like Mike that people thought it was him when the track came out.
I absolutely love contrasting vocals, so I was actually kind of disappointed when this didn't continue with their other songs. Sucks to know they were forced to do it.
@@TankTheTech I thought it was so much like Linkin Park that I thought it was just Linkin Park with a female vocalist feature 💀
Maybe the producer or label forced them into it?? Studio is the wrong term lol
@@muddyg1553 yep, the label. Amy told the story in an interview. The label said they need a male vocalist to succeed
Hey Tank, I'd just like to reiterate that many of us would absolutely love for you to continue the vlogs, including your work off tour. Show us the homework, Tank 😂
Dresden vlog is coming, but to be honest, me sitting at a computer for hours just answering e-mails and updating MasterTour doesn't really make for interesting content. Hahaha
@@TankTheTech damn... fair.
But when I start doing gear prep, travel, and rehearsal days, I'll start vlogging again.
@@TankTheTech that's a good lad. XD
@@TankTheTech A vlog with you just sitting in front of the computer gives the same vibes as the idea of an audio book with just the noise of turning pages. And at the and someone says "Oh I should have read out loud?" This meme came immediately in my head when i imagined a vlog of you just sitting there, saying nothing and typing mails and stuff :) xd
Big LP and Evanescence fan here , its alright dude we still like you
Hahaha. No worries. I'm not here to tell people what they should and shouldn't like.
lol
I got a nice surprise from my stepson the other day he got in my car and asked if he could play some music and started playing deftones and clutch. I have never been so proud
Tik tok is why
I’m going to have to vehemently disagree with your opinion on Evanescence as someone who was a teenage girl at their peak, but everything else I agree with.
Looking forward to seeing more blogs in the future.
And you absolutely can. 😊 Everyone has different tastes, and I'm not here to judge anyone for it.
Love you Tank, but do not understand the hate for Evanescence 😂 Except for Bring Me To Life and My Immortal which are definitely overplayed, they have some great songs. Everyone has a different taste I guess.
So you really hate Evanescence. This is probably why you've never mentioned them on your channel. Their music has changed a lot in recent years. If you've only heard Fallen, I suggest you listen to their recent work, "The Bitter Truth" album. I could say they are better than most bands these days.
After hearing your thoughts about Evanescence i kind of want to see/hear a podcast Episode with Amy Lee and you. Maybe you will learn what it is thats rubs you the wrong way.
I think you are perfect for this as you keep it respectful but would not shy away from speaking your mind. If Amy is up for it.
AND. It would be a different flavor because as you said: Its just the music that gets under your skin. Most of the times you like the music of your guests.
But hey its up to you. I do not expect you to go down that road if you don't see something interesting in it for you 😊😊
Oh it's not her or the band members themselves. Like I said, I'm sure they're wonderful people, and they're all talented, I just do not like their music.
@@TankTheTechyeah, got that.
I really enjoy Evanescence. That being said, they’re only lumped into the nu metal genre because they came out when they did. If it was 5 years before or after, they wouldn’t be in this video.
I mean, a multitude of the original stuff, that got released to the radio, whether it was pushed to be done by the label, or them themselves was nu metal..... I'd agree, the majority of their stuff wasn't though. Then, their look, and choice of instruments, while not exclusive to nu metal, didn't help, as they had the fashion and great style of a cliche by metal band.
evanescence is amazing....amy lee has such a great voice
37 year old metal/nu metal head here. You could not escape Nookie when it came out. Then you had the Korn/Limp Bizkit crossover that was All in the Family. Man, I love this era of metal.
I still remember all the lyrics to that song.
My d*** is bigger than yours...say what say what 😁
Static-X, Sevendust, Spineshank, Ill Niño, anything basically from Roadrunner at the turn of the century. What an awesome time for music.
Best gig I ever went to was the Roadrunner Roadrage Tour back in the day. Chimaira, ill Nino and Spineshank one after the other. It was amazing
Roadrunner was literally the best in the early 2000's, hands down.
Here's something that could be interesting: Gen Alpha turns 14 this year. THAT would also be really interesting to see what they think about this kind of stuff, because if my young cousins are of any indication, they're VERY different music-taste-wise to me, who is the older end of Gen Z.
DAMN. I didn't even realize we were already at the point of another generation being teenagers. Haha
Evanescence is actually a very strong group of musicians and great people. I don't know if you're aware of this, but in 2019 Evanescence came to Russia with a tour and the truck with all their equipment was stopped and held up at the border. Rather than cancel their first gig, they raided a local shop with rentable equipment, spent the entire day of the show RELEARNING THEIR SET in acoustic form (from seven-string electric guitars in drop A to a regular acoustic guitar, from a large custom drum kit to a cocktail kit), played the whole thing as an acoustic show and nailed it. I think that any song that is overplayed does make some folks feel the same regardless of who the artist is and that to some, classical, cinematic and I dare say "gothic" elements coupled with elements of nu-metal and occasional synthetic sounds and rap beats are just a little unusual. Amy is just a person who really, really loves many different dimensions of music and aims to juxtapose them in an organic way. That's what some love about them and what others had a harder time relating to as it was just that unusual. Anyway, not trying to convince you otherwise, just sharing. Love your channel! Thanks for helping keep all things metal relevant \\m//

I am 73 and raised (unintentionally) two metalheads now just over 40. I can recognize Metallica, Pantera and Guar. But due to your blogs was intro'd to Electric Callboy and was told last week my Mothers Day gift is tickets to see Electric Callboy on March 13thh at Pier 17!!!!!!! I am sooooo psyched!!!!!
We're traveling from Montreal to the NYC show! I can't wait to see how it's going to look, this venue sounds interesting... we hope the weather will be good! As for EC themselves, you're in it for an amazing time, they're absolutely fantastic live!
How was it?? I’ve never heard of them before!!
What? I love Evanescence 😢
And that's awesome! I'm not here to tell people what they should and shouldn't like. Haha
Then why do so many people in the rock industry hate Amy Lee?
@@allengator1914 They hate her no matter what she do😔, I don’t feel like Amy has done anything to be hated for honestly, I met her in 2012 she's real and genuine.
Whether evanescence is nu metal or even metal or heavy at all they write some solid Gothic buttrock tunes
I never side I disliked Amy Lee. I said I disliked Evanescence.
Feel judgement for the Evanescence comment. Even tho, I'm not a big fan of them, I still think that they can be a good gateway to heavier bands. Nickelback is more deserving for it than them.
Depends what Era nu metal. Their early material I'd go out and say was great, and far better than most evanescence material, and honestly, their latest material, while I wouldn't say great, was a step back in the right direction.
They get shit from me, some, because they're an exceptionally talented band who could really put some top level material out, but around the time the 2000s hit, they instead went the generic radio hit route. Don't blame them, and I'm sure they look at their bank accounts and don't care themselves, but I prefer bands that keep their musical integrity, and make it to the top that way. At the same time, if it was that, or fail, I'd do the same thing they did. 😂
19:20 linkin park. hybrid theory and meteora is _still_ getting me through shit, 20 years later. chester is the first celebrity death that really hit me.
Chester and then Alexi Laiho, for me. Both are extremely missed.
Awesome vid dude lots of nostalgia there me being 42 lots of bands missing on that one but hopefully on another 🤘have a good weekend and stay safe
I'm glad Frosty is a great friend, making sure you had that CD to cherish. GG Frosty!!
I love that you react to this one. This video made my day. Entirely my music. Grew up during that time period and am listening to most of those bands up until today.
TANK! Regardless of your views and opinions on things in the metal community, we/I love you brother. I am very thankful to have you in our community. I always love and enjoy all your content, we need more people like you. So keep on doing what you’re doing! Love you tank!❤️
Static X is SUCH A GOOD CALL, Love them, RIP WAYNE STATIC! Discovered the mbecause of Need for Speed Underground but if I was to listen to one and only one band from this then its a ez call, Linkin Park. I just have been in love with this band for 24 years now. Started listening to them before I even knew English.
Need For Speed Most Wanted for me. SKIIIIINNYYYYYYMAAAANNNN. Also Disturbed - Decadence. There was also A7X and Mastodon. What a soundtrack.
I remember working in tech ed class, on the 1st Apple computers listening to Reveille - What you got? That memory comes to mind when you say nu metal. I agree, it's great seeing kids enjoy the music we grew up to. Just like most of us did with our parents. Great vid Tank! Keep em coming my friend.
I happened across your video through recommended. And I am thankful to the 80/90's lawdz! The sheer appreciation for these songs and this music warms my lil metal heart! Gonna do a lil diving into your videos. Got an avid watcher now!
Been waiting for this one cuz I knew what the last song was XDDD
I think for the most part they did a great selection but while I don't hate Evanescence, I would never consider them nu metal.
Still waiting for the react folks to wake up to Electric Callboy!!!
Who remembers the FIRST Family Values Tour???? Korn, Rammstein, Ice Cube, Limp Bizkit, and ORGY! Was so sad I missed that show when it came around.
I have that cd and always thought it must have been an incredible tour! If you loved Orgy you should check out Julien-k, two of the Orgy members are behind it (Ryan and Amir). They've done some great stuff since!
Ice cube was only the last 5 dates, and believe me, cube is one of the few rappers I like, but I'd take incubus, who was the band they replaced on the last dates, over cube.
I have one of those Family Values cds!!
@David_Theisen hell yeah...... can't remember if the first only had one or if it had two incubus songs......I don't recall the title of the one I remember best being on there, without looking but I know it was one of the best tracks off their second album.
I seen that one but it also had incubus with them
I used to jam Sinner by Drowning Pool almost daily when I was younger and it had just come out. Bodies was indeed one of the weaker songs in terms of the whole record!
Love these videos - hilarious 🤣🤣
the sign in the back, my heart melted all over again, so proud of the life you've built, man!
best artwork on the wall
I discovered Tetrarch less than a week ago but have been really digging them, thoroughly enjoyed this video
watching Tank just so I can learn somthing new about music history, thanks professor
I'm the same age as you, Tank, so this is extra funny watching with you 😂 Though a few of the songs were never big in Norway and I don't know them! I was a huge Evanescence fan though haha
Love these videos
I guess I watched the actual react vid on YT, since I didn't see any comments by me in the Tank video chat, but I have definitely seen that react vid. 😆 I totally agree with Tank, if I could only listen to one of the bands from the vid, I'd pick Static-X. As a side note, I was so happy to hear y'all mention Spineshank. Usually, when I ask if someone's heard of them, I get a blank stare back. I listened to "Height of Callousness" and "Self-Destructive Pattern" a LOT back then. 🤘🏻
Hey Tank im so Happy to hear that im not the only one who dislike this band and im not even gone mention there name.
Great video by you btw as always.
This is my first video I’ve from you but I enjoyed it. I’m on the older side of Gen Z (26) and honestly, I’m not surprised they knew and liked these bands. Even when I was in high school, my whole class new Last Resort word for word. I’m also seeing Numetal trend on Tiktok because it’s “girlypop” and people are doing K-Pop dances to these songs. As a metalhead and K-Pop fan I’m loving this crossover of genres❤
Love that you mentioned Spineshank. And Dry Kill Logic . Deep cuts and 2 of my top 3 favorite bands
When Jaxson said he associated Linkin Park with "scene kids," an immediate NO came out of my mouth 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️. I associate scene kids with MCR, Paramore, The Used, Hawthorne Heights, TBS, and so many more emo/screamo bands of the 2000s. I would've loved to see them show them Deftones, one of my favorite bands of that era. You should check out their Do Millennials Know 2000s Pop/Punk video, there's a lot of bands in that video I know you know, and even though they might not have been your cup of tea, lol. Keep it up Tank 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Es un sacrilegio que ni el video, ni uds hayan nombrado a la banda que mas se mereció estar en esa reacción, Deftones! Son muy grandes en todo el mundo, mucho mas que bandas que nombro el chat o mostraron en la reacción.
Went to Sevendust and static x tour twice. I can say this a lot of younger fans were attending and enjoyed it!! That was my 60th Sevendust show at radius
Once again, your pronunciation in German is really good! And yes Static-X!! But also Korn! Two bands I don't mind still listening to. 22:50 yes 🤣traumatize them!!
seeing them react to extreme metal (any and all genres) would be fun, especially if they like some of 'em!
Had the pleasure of working with Sevendust on a local show here in OKC. Genuinely some of the most down to earth and nicest people in the business. Fantastic live as well
Millennial here!
I just went to see Static X last month with Sevendust. I have to say, the "new" Static X put some massive honor on Wayne's name/legacy. I love that the new singer is just operating under a mask & the pseudonym as "Xero" and wants no real credit for his performances even though people figured out his identity. He somehow manages to flawlessly imitate Wayne's vocal affectation, but in a totally respectful way that doesn't diminish or mock what a genius he was. Nobody can ever replace Wayne, but for someone like me, who got into Static soon after Wayne died and never thought I'd see them live, they did a hella good job in making their set one massive celebration of his life. Even their brand new songs fit seamlessly into their old sound, and you wouldn't even know it was a different singer upon first listen without pointing it out. If Linkin Park ever make a comeback, one can only hope they do it in such a great way like Static X has.
also funny enough: I also just went to see Powerman 5000 at a local venue literally last week. They only managed to draw a crowd of maybe 200 people at a small club, but it was probably the most fun I've had at such a small venue in a longgg time. Spider One is definitely getting older lol but he's still got energy enough to interact a lot with the crowd and you can tell he loves his job. It's awesome these bands are still around, bc it's easy to forget just how amazingly they translate to a fun live experience.
Huge Static-x fan here. If I have to choose only one band from this video, to listen to for the rest of my life, I'm on board with you Mr. Tank. But for the greatest band, I think RATM has left an undeniable impact on Music and human Society as a whole! Thank you for the great videos man 🤘
Hiya Tank, bet your girls are glad to get ya home!✌🏻
Tank hating Evanescence is a piece of lore I didn’t know I needed. That had me on the floor it was so funny.
I’ve only ever listened to Bring Me To Life, and I still enjoy it, but I also never had in interest in exploring their catalogue beyond that.
Love your vids Tank, cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Hell yeah Tank! You hit the nail about Blood Brothers. Always have been and always will be the best Papa Roach song IMO.
And that's the reason why it featured in Tony Hawk Pro Skaters 2 and not another one hehehe.
My beginning of nu metal was "Nookie" by Limp Bizkit and then I soon heard and liked Godsmack, Static X, SOAD. Slipknot stole my heart as soon as it was available in my country.
This video was my early teen/pre-teen years onwards, love it.
Mudvayne is really underrated.
Greatest bass player and drummer combo as well as probably the greatest writing of any metal band.
Bro...Blood Brothers was always my favorite from the album I'd play on repeat. Thanks for the reminder..........
Tank your top tier brother!
Good luck and be safe on tour.
In the 90s it was Slipknot and Pantera for me, and still listening today 🤘😛🤘
Listened to them as well, and still do!
Heck yes Tank! I'd go with Static-X too, they never fail to make me happy. Rest in Power Wayne.
i enjoy these juds react videos too. this reacting to those is fun idea. like sitting with a friend lol
I saw Drowning Pool way back and Dave came out with a freaking snow shovel to use in the beginning of Tear Away, it was great. They opened for Kittie and Mudvayne. Great show, tiny venue inside a bowling alley.
I like Evanescence, I don't think they are a Nu Metal band by any means, but Bring Me To Life is a Nu Metal lite song, by design.
I thank God every day I raised my kids in good music. This was hilarious. Totally agree w you on Dave Matthew’s and Evenesece.
I subscribed when you said Blood Brothers was a better song than Broken Home and Last Resort! I 100% agree. I even named my paintball team that name… had to change it for safety reasons lol.
5:15
They did have the "everybody fan base" for sure. Former skater kid here, can confirm. LP was a music staple for us.
Also, I agree with you on Drowning Pool - Sinner. Fantastic album(and song)
These kids make me cringe but I'm still here to support your channel, Tank. Luv ya buddy. 🍻🤝
I don't know if Evanescence is Nü metal or not because I've never listened to them, but it's really weird that you didn't freak out about Linkin Park as well. I've never heard of them putting out a Nü metal album.
Never seen you hate a band like that before, if you hate Evanescence so much why didn't put the same reaction to Linkin Park? Their music sound very similar in earlier 2000.
I’m glad you mentioned about mudvayne too, I’m a big mudvayne fan. Especially since my dad grew up on it and the band is from my hometown. I would’ve liked to see their reaction. Also I showed my dad your vids and he loves them!
Ryan Martinie is a stud, dude to this day is wildly slept on even considering Mudvayne's overall popularity
Ryan is one of the reasons I started playing bass 20+ years ago, and still cannot play nearly as good as him.
Kinda sad to me they didn't include Coal Chamber 'Loco'. That was an TLR on MTV. (Right?...)
And Yeah, Sevendust would've been a good one to include, Mortal Kombat Soundtrack.
Also, could they cover ANY OTHER SONG by Evanescence? Even "Everybody's Fool" or "Going Under" would've worked. BTW, Favorite song from that album is "Hello", though it is technically a sad song. Probly "Imaginary" would be more your pace. (And all of those are the SAME ALBUM!)
We can agree to disagree on personal choice of bands.
Just listened to the jaxson podcast what a interesting young man
Also, a fellow STatic-X brother. Wisconsin Death Trip is in my top 5 of albums all time. Fucking love that band. Wish I got to meet em one day!
Yoooooo, mans said Soil! I LOVED that first album they dropped. Black 7, Breaking Me Down, Halo, the whole album really was just so good.
Dude, that Soil album was SO good.
I saw Sevendust and Static-X live for the first time this year and it made me fall in love with them. I’ve listened to them forever because they were always in games I played and movies I watched but I never considered myself a fan until now.
I believe they might be good people, but I just hate them lol, and I can't explain why, maybe because of that "song". = Every typical Evanescence hater has said this before, dude.
I remember getting a cassette single and death trip when it came from the record shop, and I've been obsessed ever since. The one time I saw drowning pool was an "all ages" show when I was 17 in 02 at the house of blues chicago. Hosted by a small person who was smoking a joint and chugging jaeger (one of the sponsors) on stage. Great show also had ill Nino and coal chamber.
I saw Static-X open for Megadeth back in '99 in Portland Maine along with a couple other bands. It was awesome, after the first band played...security asked my cousin and I (we are big dudes) to help them out catching crowd surfers so we got to watch the show from the other side of the barricade...right in front of the stage.
If i had to pick one of these bands to listen to for the rest of my life... its also definitely Static-X, and kinda has been.
I wasn't into Shadow Zone which came out my graduation year... so i primarily had been listening to WDT and Machine. I never got to see them live and i never got a shirt, but easily Static-X. I credit them more for my introduction into harder metal.
But i had a big music change up from access to P2P services and they'd where i found Blind Guardian, and Juno Reactor, and Buckethead, and so much more.
I only recently got back into Limp Bizkit (Chocolate Starfish was the last album i had from them) and they hold up really damn well.
SOAD is still fantastic.
Korn is the one i have had i really hard time getting back into. I had all their albums up to Untouchables, i listened to them all the time... the band is incredibly talented, Jonathan Davis is legendary... i just can't get back in their songs
I love Evanescence and I wish the react channel would show their other songs because "Bring me to life" has been played to death on that channel
Hey Tank, a quick opinion. Orgy should've also been on the list. They were and still are ahead of their time. Jay (singer) is the still keeping the band going. They were at SNW in Vegas last year debuting like 2 or 3 new songs. They brought attention to how awesome an 80s song can sound with 20 years of technological advancement in music/recording gear. Amir (former guitarist) always had awesome custom Jackson guitars and all his tones were based from Roland guitar synths and other Guitar-to-midi devices.
@TanktheTech What's your take on Orgy, if you have one? Also, have you ever used or considered trying out the guitar/bass synthesizers from Roland and Boss? I have a feeling it may become a rabbit hole for you of new music toys.
Don’t remember how to give tips on music but I write here hoping you find it.
Gods of metal by the band All for metal! An absolute banger!
Hey Tank, fan of the channel. I would be interested in a video on what surrounds a band signing to a label. Maybe you have the insight to touch upon this subject. Do bands get health care, dental, 401K options. What kind of profit sharing is typical between the bands and label. etc.
Very interesting topic,
Health care? Dental? 401K. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
But seriously, no, they don't get any of that. Even as a roadie I've never had any of that. Good topic to bring up though.
So the algorithm brought me here; I loved all these songs in high school (even Evanescence) and just haven’t been back to listen to any in so long. That said, my music listening has been moving back into metal-adjacent artists recently and I'd love to see you blind react to Monstarrr by Ennaria, just because it caught me totally off guard and I wish someone could have recorded my first reaction.
Now I want EC to cover an Evanescence song, so Tank has to listen to it every night on tour.
And also, writing this, it might actually be really good. Just think of Nico singing Bring me to Life for example. Give it their EDM twist, maybe a bit darkwave-y, youknowwhatImean?
Hey Tank, I hate to be the bear with bad news but when you add heavy guitars, build ups, pretty singing and a dude rapping(poorly), you get nu metal. That means Evanescence is definitely nu metal.
Nu Metal was my introduction to metal and rock as a whole. So i have a love for the genre....
First 2 albums of Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit Unapologetically, Slipknot, KoRn (My all time favourite band), SOAD, Deftones, Dope, Static-X, Soulfly, Sevendust, Nonpoint, Ill Nino etc are all bands i love
Great to hear a Christmas song on here!
so many of those bands are going to be at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA this year
Tank, while you were on tour, I was at the makeup show for Static-X/Sevendust/Dope at the Brooklyn Bowl. Static tore that place down. I was at Murfreesboro when it was canceled.
Btw, Evanescence is a co-headliner at Louder Than Life the same night as SLAYER. React to that one 😅
Respect on Static-X maaaan. I got into that shit hard when Push It was put on Rock Band. My fav band shown in this react.
I grew up in Italy and same as Germany, limp bizkit didn’t hit the map until chocolate start fish with their single, Take a look around and rollin.
i'd like to see your reaction to the Drumeo "Hears for the First time" series
100% agree with you about the Drowning Pool album ... hell, I remember going with a mate to see Disturbed (with Trivium, As I Lay Dying and another band I don't remember) back in 2011 (my mates gf at the time paid for the tickets, it was the only good thing she did for him) and between Trivium's set and Disturbed they started playing the entire Sinner album and everyone in the crowd was singing along. Also witnessed some crazy kid in the area we were in that was going crazy for the 1st band and AILD but sat down and barely moved for Trivium and was gone before Disturbed came out
I wore the hell out of my Atreyu shirt you got for free when preordering the Crimson album
I discovered Downthesun from r/numetal maybe a yearvor two ago. You are the only one to mention them by name.
this genre will always be one of my favorite even though i was born right when it started to take off. i will always remember coming back from school and my mom would be blasting system
In Canada I remember Chop Suey playing way more on radio and TV. I also loved Static X, I had my hair like Wayne for a long time.
It's okay, everyone has different tastes but, Evanescence was my 33 year daughter's favorite band as a kid. Love Amy's voice. Seen them live 4 times, and they are very good live. With that said...They are NOT Nu-Metal! You need to check out Frank Turner, great lyricist and amazing live shows. Seen him 13 times live and he just gets better every time. 😁
Not surprised many of them haven't seen the video for Freak on a Leash. I've watched a lot of these and it's never been on the channel, plus I'm their age and I've seen it maybe once.
despite not listening to them Powermann 5000 will always be stuck in my Memory cause When Worlds Collide was the main theme to Smackdown vs Raw 2004 which was one of the most played games of me and my bestfriend when we were kids
I love Drowning Pool. I actually got to hang out with them one time because my friend was in a band that opened for them at a bar in Louisiana but it was the new lead singer
I thought I recognised Noah too. The one with the glasses was part of Smosh, surprised he didnt get more as the guys nearly 30 😂
DUDE, i've been saying sinner by drowning pool is a perfect album for years. In my top 3 for sure
I was a few years ahead of you Tank and I loved all the Nü Metal sound back then - back before yknow it wasn't even called Nü Metal and none of us even knew that was a thing lol
this was just our generation's music - like you just put the local rock station on (KWHL (K-WHALE) in Alaska for me at that time!) and any one of these would be playing at any given time.
Korn, RATM, Slipknot was JUST coming on the scene, (no - they were NOT played on the radio so much haha) Sevendust, that was also around the era of Ska in its full swing (I still to this day don't understand how the heck Smash Mouth became the defacto representative of Ska 🤔😣)
then you also had grunge (the granddaddy of Nü Metal) still kicking around and even NIN got airtime of all things! (I love NIN but I don't know how they actually got station's to play them!)
dunno where this kid gets off thinking LP was scene kids... this was straight up skater kids music
