- A short patrol in an urban area turns sour - For the rebels.
Worked on this on and off for a month, lost interest towards the end and so I apologise if the animations seem rushed. I was juggling between other projects, school and a while load of other stuff so yeah.
I'm not really sure what I should work on next, so if you got any other ideas (especially warhammer 40k) just yeet a comment and I'll see if I'll get to it!
Bolter sounds are ripped from the 40k Regicide trailer and looped.

Hatches down at all times in unsecured urban areas!
Or at least eyeball defilade
And have supporting elements.
In Warhammer you don't just have it open, you swing your sword outside and tell the driver to go closer so you can hit enemies with it.
I guess if the snipers suck that badly, why be concerned?

Because War, war never change.
Stubguns are essentially 20th-21st century firearms ported into the far future. They're pretty popular with hive gangs and worlds with limited tech capabilities.
The Imperium even still uses upscaled Browning M2 HMGs as Heavy Stubbers when they can't supply multilasers fast enough.
@@LamborghiniDiabloSVPursuit I'd rather have a Heavy Stubber than a Multilsaser. The HS has (low) odds of Penning SM armor. The Mutlilaser don't. Also, the Krieger HS looks like an MG44. I think that's more of a Category than a specific gun.

Moral of the story: Never fight tanks without anti tank weapons.
*Finnish laughter*
Get the commander with sniper, rush the tank from the side, gun the crew before they can close the hatch. If done with perfect timing, with out infantry support and tank crews doctrine in urban areas is broken and hatches are not closed and locked you can take over whole columns of tanks until one of those things is not holding true. And then you have tanks of your own in limited capacity... witch out spare parts, maintenance and resupply, but enough to maybe take over smaller base that extends operational use of those captured vehicles with weeks if not months depending situation.

They should have fixed bayonets or took out their shovel, this work for a certain imperial guard group.
Game terms, a full size squad of guardsmen being ordered 'First Rank Fire, Second Rank Fire' have 36 lasgun shots, +1 for the Sergeant's las pistol. 4s to hit puts the average to 18.5 hits, strength 3 vs toughness 8 is 6s to wound, means ~3 wounds, and with a 3+ save, 1 will fail. Small arms can add up, but statistically speaking would take 12 full strength squads pouring every lasgun into the Russ to bring it down in 1 turn.

The combine is an inter dimensional empire that crushed humanity’s entire military along with all militias, paramilitary groups, insurgencies etc in 7 hours. This is why the Guard can Hold the Line. They got good gear.
High quality gear
@@warlordclasstitan2597 Their gear is actually REALLY GOOD, or just gets overshadowed by the AdMech and SM's stuff.
The common Lasgun has the firepower of a modern day battle rifle (think AK) only EVEN MORE durable, with 100% accuracy (no bullets to drop). It's only inaccuracy is user error. It's durable enough to literally use as a club and not affect it. Plus the power pack can literally be recharged from any power source. Car battery, wall socket, lightning strike, solar, even a godamn campfire.
The Leman Russ and Chimera chassis (which 90% of Guard vehicles use) has an engine that can use literally anything that burns as fuel. Wood, coal, natural gas, crude oil, corn cobs, bodies. If it burns and you can get it in the tank, the LR or Chimera wil run on it.
