what makes this animation perfect is the voice work. it fits the tone of the artstyle and the motion and gestures of these hulks acting like 5th graders in the playground. the volume and accents also give it weight as it all flows just perfectly. the jokes might not click to those who dont know 40k lore but the way this is delivered is what makes it comedic gold.

Great start, guys. I really think there’s a ton of potential here! If you start something with some actual writing structure (even if it’s just for one comedy sketch), I think you could really be successful. Part of why your animation for “The Inquisition” was so successful was because it hinted at an entire plot line full of characters with backgrounds who had hilarious stories to tell. Keep it up! I’m excited to see where this goes!

Researched the "Iron Cage" event between the Warriors and Fists, In the early 31st Millennium, the Ultramarines saved their sorry asses after the Fists got caught in a trap that nearly killed them all.
Fists believed that they could handle it... but the Ultramarines stepped in and stopped it.
So, that's the favor, and why the Fist and Ultramarines are somewhat in a okay standing.

I think I vaguely remember that in some very old lore, back in the days when GW didn't take itself so seriously.

Considering the time spans involved (tens of thousands of years) and the numbers of people involved in the universe this takes place in, there is damn near 0 percent chance of this being fiction.
what makes this animation perfect is the voice work. it fits the tone of the artstyle and the motion and gestures of these hulks acting like 5th graders in the playground. the volume and accents also give it weight as it all flows just perfectly. the jokes might not click to those who dont know 40k lore but the way this is delivered is what makes it comedic gold.

And also, to decimate in the terms of a verb means to destroy or remove a large portion of something, the context that your using is a historical definition of the usage to "decimate", which was to kill 1 person in 10 to make an example or as you put it to decimate a fraction.

I really don’t see what is wrong with the Ultramarines. Not the best chapter by a long shot but I don’t really see why they get all the hate? That being said I’ve only read Crusade and Nexus.
@@michaeljenner2325 Mostly due to getting the Mary Sue Treatment for a long time and esp. under the tenure of the man most notorious for deciding that thing to do with Warhammer Fantasy was to burn the setting to the ground and start over.
Cuz the fans know their ultra smurf primarch dissed :last bastion ImperialFist Rogal Dorn; and caused many Fists to die in the gauntlet, also one of the many reasons why the Imperium lost much of its strength since heresy. Guilliman was super mean and stupid toward our hero Rogal, after Rogal basically sacrificed everything to save the Imperium.💔

Great start, guys. I really think there’s a ton of potential here!
If you start something with some actual writing structure (even if it’s just for one comedy sketch), I think you could really be successful. Part of why your animation for “The Inquisition” was so successful was because it hinted at an entire plot line full of characters with backgrounds who had hilarious stories to tell.
Keep it up! I’m excited to see where this goes!
Thanks man we're really glad you enjoyed it, we are definitely looking into doing some stuff that's a bit more structured but for the time being we're still trying to feel things out in the early stage.
I really love the idea of Space Marines and Traitor Marines trolling each other before battles. Like, "Hey, we're all here to brutally eviscerate each other. That doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves before we do it."
This is honestly better than 9/10 shows on Cartoon Network now.
