FlatBlack Briggs FI rebuild

This FI was rusted and the piston was stuck in the cylinder. There was water in the cylinder and in the crankcase. This engine was cleaned, honed cylinder, new rings, gaskets, replacement valves and head screws. The points and condenser were replaced. The carburetor was cleaned. The gas tank was badly dented and missing the one bracket. Blower housings were wire wheeled, sanded and soaked in Evaporust. The engine was painted in flat black. Many hours later it runs again. #antique #vintage #engine
