Just picked up a ZR11s from HF so I can do a battery reset/adaption for a VW. On the box it says it can do it but after many attempts it fails to do it.
Thanks for the heads up.. I haven't tried every feature.. I think its a good Scanner for the Money from what I've have boughten in the past years in scanners. Thanks for watching
Dont expect a tool to do everything but when harbor freight support team is called and they tell me it should work, i expect the 20 percent restock fee to be waived when i return it. I at least want a scan tool to work on MY vehicle
I recommend everyone to buy the Extended Warranty from Harbor Frieght. They have so many 1 time use of tools that folks bring back just to use once on a Project they had to crack down on the restocking feed unfortunately. I've beem dealing with HF for almost 20 years. Its Slippery Slope with China made Tools these days too. Thanks for watching! !
So i guess i'm one of the 1 time users you mention? That's the most uneducated comment ever and i would never spend even more money for a tool that doesnt perform as advertìsed
@@user-ye7oc5ve7sI Understand your upset.. These days aren't hard to do. So much China junk is made. Just look at the Vehicle we have to Repair that Costs so much money. No one answers questions. We all got so many questions with no answers in the world we live in. I'm just saying these scanner work good for what they are. Been in the Buisness for 30 years and they came along ways with these scanners for the Average Wrench. There simple to use for the most part and do alot of functions. Is it the Holly Grail of scanners Absolutely Not. But for the Money.. It makes me money daily. I have over $5k in other name brand scanner[s] that are not Even Able to update software. Thank You for comments. I do & Folks appreciate the Feed Back. Have a Good Day! !
Didn't say much about that unfortunately. I don't do alot of transmission work. I'm sure its Not as good as the Launch.. Snap On or Matco tablets scanners. Thanks for watching.
@@kennylavay8492 I understand that and I did look into them.. This is a Very Small unit with alot of options for what it is for what I do(light diagnostics). I had a Launch scanner 10 years ago. It wasn't a tablet style But it worked good. HF has the Replacement Warranty /upgrade that I really Like too. Appreciate the Heads up and thanks For watching.
Thats Unfortunate.. I never tried to Bleed brakes from the Machine. You find it does so much for a Small Scan Tool Mainly I use it for ABS/TPS and Live Data and DTC. For the money it does so much though. HF Has a tough Return policy. 7 days for the refund due to so many folks returning tools after just using for a couple of Jobs. I do make Money with my Scanner. Bought one and would not perform the abs bleeding on my fusion. Harbor freight would not stand behind this product

No scanner out there can do it all. It might not have worked on that make and model but would on another vehicle that is just the way it goes.
