Same issue for me. Got the scanner on 1/14/25 from HF for the sole purpose of Sienna transmission drain/fill. It would not read the A/T temp. For $299, very disappointed. *updated comment 1-17-25, took the ZR15S back to HF & got the ICON T7. It displayed the trans temp and HF gave me a full refund on the ZR15S & waived the re-stock fee. Definitely worth the extra $100 all things considered.
Yes, like the first commenter stated, this is the INNOVA 5610! The owners manuals are virtually the.same. The difference I noticed though, the Zurich model shows a 90 day warranty on the back warranty page, where the Innova shows a 1 yr warranty! Wonder why that is??!! But it appears they have different contact #'s, so when you call Zurich are you essentially contacting Innova or a division within Innova? That's what I would like to know. Thanks for posting.
I bought a Xtool ds 7 bi directional scan tool off Amazon for just a little more than what I paid for the ZR15s. A lot more capabilities for a little more money. It was worth it
@@63bravogarage Does the D7S require a subscription service? I know some XTool scanners give updates for a couple yrs for free, but you have to pay when it runs out. I'm curious to know, thanks!
@@wheaterz7567 it offers 3 years of free updates and $99 a year after that, which is not too bad I think. But if you choose not to update can still use scanner to my knowledge
Just bought a Zurich ZR15s today and got the same firmware version from Harbor Freight and having the same issue for not showing the Transmission Fluid Temperature on 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited. Tried to return it but they demanded a 20% restocking fee.
Innova is who makes that Harbor Freight scanner. It's equivalent to the Innova 5610 which I own. The firmware in my 5610 is exactly the same as what is showing on your screen. Unfortunately there are a lot of holes in these scanners. I have some higher dollar Launch based and Autel based scanners which show way more information. You might search for some Innova 5610 reviews and see if anyone else has your issue. There are quite a few reviews of the Innova version. Hopefully Innova will fix this issue for you at some point.
I ended up coming across the Xtool D7S which I purchased for $366 and is comparable to the launch. It’s crazy how I paid $319 for the ZR15s and the Xtool was only $366
@@63bravogarageYes, I have heard of the different Xtool scanners and contemplated getting one of them but I ended up getting an Otofix D1 which uses Autel software since its made by Autel. Launch and Autel are the two main software versions of the aftermarket scanners out there that are well known. The Otofix D1 Lite is in the price range of the Xtool that you bought and it has most of the capabilities of the larger more expensive Autel scan tools.

When I contacted tech support it was a harbor freight rep. They did not know anything unless it involved reading off a sheet.
Ran into the same issue. I was trying to read the transmission temp for a 2019 highlander xle, no luck.

Mine read the trans temp on my 2016 Highlander XLE. Helped me change the fluid.

I just found the transmission temp under "Service Check"
That’s where it’s suppose to be. But on the latest version it does not have it.
