Exactly why I purchased this scan tool because of how much to have 1 scan done by someone else and it has worked good the first time I used it, hopefully it does well in the future.
@@MajorWeakness Yes it is, my 2016 toyota tacoma SR5 is at 169k miles so I know some dumb little sensor is going to die and the last thing I want to do is visit a dealership.

I am looking to buy a Zurich today. The zr13s or the zr15s. I mainly need one that will scan and cover all the abs stuff. The zr15s also does this but I’m not sure if the stuff that the 15s will do is over kill bs the zr13s It’s a good price difference and my scanner works good for codes but I need something to cover the full and system. Would you say 13s over 15s
If I needed something that could reset electric steering angles or did mechanic work for a living then I would go with the 15. I'm not a mechanic so I went with the 13 and it has taken care of all my needs at an affordable price
I am stunned that car companies are now making new cars so that aftermarket scanners do not work on them. At 150 hr at a dealer when your vehicle is off warranty only few can. I have heard people say they paid 1200 for rotors and pads on all 4. Considering parts would run you on average 500 total , once again they want more in labor than in parts.
No you would need to get the Zurich ZR15s with has bidirectional capability to do that. This one can read and reset ABS codes but no bleeding or bidirectional stuff.
Funny because most OB2 Code Readers have the battery/alternator test and require the vehicle to be running. I have a Craftsman OB2 Code Reader similar to this Zurich and I can use it while vehicles are running.
@@Chuckiewashere this unit also tests alternator and battery while running. I rather use a battery tester connected directly to battery to accurately check CCA
YES I verified today on my 2010 F150. It not only automatically setup the scanner for the f150 but of you hit the "vehicle information " section under the "menu " button it will display the entire VIN number.
You can with this one as it has a live data feature. The vehicle has to be on to show all the live data information, otherwise that feature would be useless.
It was purchased at autozone about 8 years ago. Not from Amazon. The one I used in this video to diagnose was Harbor Freight for about 140.00, just for clarification incase someone reads this comment.
At least he took the time to produce a video and present the unit. Unlike yourself who simply sits in the peanut gallery and belly aches about nothing.

Mine still working great and used fairly often
How much is it?
You can get them free at autozone, but doesn't help if you can't get your car there. Just thought I'd mention to anyone who might be wondering.
Cool video. I like that you used it for the 1st time with us.
Thanks
Good Video! Wish I should of watched this first. I just bought a $300 scan tool for this reason. One of my ABS wheel sensors is bad.
Still cheaper than bringing to a shop
@@MajorWeakness True. My extended warranties on both my cars expired so I'm sure it's going to come in handy.
Great quick video run down of this. Bought mine with that New Years 25% off coupon, Absolute steal of a deal.

not bad ,just for a few dollars more you'll get one that also bleeds the abs,not far from tje price of that one

Most "pocket scanners" do not start the vehicle while using.. you need a snap-on or higher end scanners to do that..........
