Aw thank you!!☺️ if you’re interested in more ~artsy~ journaling I think washi tapes, stickers, and stamps are the way to go for beginners! They always look good however you arrange them. And also remembering that it’s about enjoying the creative process and not the outcome (something I have to remind myself daily or else I’d get super stressed about all my creative hobbies haha). You can do it!❤️
Really enjoyed seeing your completed 2023 journal! I am just starting my first reading journal, and I saw so many things in yours I want to incorporate!
Oh how exciting! This has definitely been one of my new favorite hobbies :) so glad you found some ideas from this set up! Which spreads are you thinking of incorporating? :)
@@Thepumpkinvinecreek ooh yes!! Probably one of my favorite spreads of annual set ups ☺️ I got that idea from @plantbasedbride if you’ve ever seen her reading journal!
Beautiful journal! I love the opening illustration ❤ I also listened to The Dutch House on audio and loved it (I love most every Ann Patchett book I’ve read though). If you’ve not read Project Hail Mary (Andy Weir) it’s the only book I recommend to listen to on audio over reading the physical book, for reasons I won’t share as they may be spoilers 😊 but the reader of that one is fantastic (and honestly reminded me of Tom Hanks). My favorite non P&P Austen is Persuasion, but it has definitely improved for me as I’ve gotten older. Thanks for sharing your year!!
Ooh Project Hail Mary has been on my radar for so long, thank you for letting me know it’s good on audio!! I’ll definitely have to listen to that one then. Glad to have another Ann Parchett and Jane Austen fan around too! After the Dutch house I really want to read her other works. And I do love the romance and Anne’s character in Persuasion☺️
Your journal gives me cozy vibes 😊 The spreads are very pretty as well! Unfinished pages feel very relatable though, I finished my reading journal for 2023 a couple days ago 😅 The beginning of a new year always feels so slow…
Thank you, cozy is definitely what I’m going for!☺️ yeah I know what you mean with feeling a slow start to the year - I just finished December/those end of year spreads a few days ago as well! But I kind of like saving the spreads for whenever I’m feeling the most inspired and will get the most enjoyment out of it haha
Beautiful journal 😍😍..l love it ❤😊 Thanks for sharing 😊
Awww thank you, glad you enjoyed seeing it!🥰🥰

Audiobook suggestion: Comfort Me With Apples! It’s about 2 hours long.
Oh thank you, I’ll have to look into that one! :)
You're so talented, WOW!
Aw that’s so kind, thank you!!
It's so very pretty. I wish I was creative so I could do this type of thing!
