I'm always so inspired when I see others do a kind of scrapbook/collage effect with washi tapes because it always turns out so beautifully! Maybe next time I do it, it'll actually turn out well! (But do you have any tips..? 👀)

I don’t do goal-setting per se; I did a Values exercise on my birthday in 2023 where I did a deep dive on what I consider my values (I landed on 12), explored the origin of each and gave myself a current rating 1-5 (how is my life reflecting that I value this right now). Then I listed things I can do to improve/support each value and scheduled quarterly check-ins where I reflect, brainstorm, etc. This has worked amazingly well for me and I have seen incredible growth and improvement in so many areas of my life in the last year. I did an annual check-in on my last birthday and plan to continue with quarterly check-ins this year. It’s been a really great system for me.

I read the Tessa Afshar book (i've read several of hers) and they are all SO good! Clean, Romantic, adventurous. Can't recommend her books enough. Some ideas for your book bingo, are: read in bed all day, Do a blind date with a book, Read a poem, make a recipe inspired by a recent read ( for example Tessa Afshars book you have printed is set in the middle east so perhaps make a middle eastern dish).

I had started bullet journalling back in 2018 and I was doing great, it helped me refresh my mind, bring out the creative side in me and getting things done. However by 2019, I ended up moving abroad to Canada for my studies and between working and studying and coping with new environment all alone it became difficult to maintain bujoing and I ended up quiting it eventually. I really regretted the decision and this new year's I wanted to restart and see what I could do. Being more like a newcomer, I didnt even remember what all I had included for the initial set up in my previous journal and was searching web to jog my memory. I have been looking through videos for the past couple of hours and none made much sense or was relatable to my needs/requirements. And then, I came across your video, I cannot say how grateful and fortunate I am that your ideas are simple and easy enough to follow but at the same time they include all the essential pages as well and easy to set up and be consistent with. Thank you so very much for this video!!! I am starting a new I page as well hoping that I can be consistent through out the year, my ig handle is: retrojournal_ and the name isnabi's journal

I think the theme is really beautiful, but I do think the pink clashes a bit too much with the gold. Maybe if you used a color that is closer to gold it would work better. Nevertheless, still a beautiful theme!

Loved the video. Still watching it, more a minimalist Bujo user, and really like simple set ups and spreads. The Artsy stuff is nice too. I like having a focus tracker and daily tracker as well. I been treating the bujo more as like a Captains Journal log. I change it up monthly but I love seeing the books full with no empty pages but organized

I hope you end up liking the theme better over the month, because I think it’s beautiful! I usually try to build habits that work towards a goal because that seems to work better for my specific goals than a list of tasks I need to complete. The concepts of the 12 Week Year make a lot of sense to me, but because of the way I think of my goals I can’t figure out how to make them fit into the system. I’m waiting for the book from the library so I can get a clearer idea 😅

Love love love your set up! I love your goal also of reading Christian Fiction this year! That’s a goal of mine as well. As far as your TBRs go, I’d definitely recommend reading Written in My Own Heart’s Blood by Diana Gabaldon. The whole Outlander series is so good, and assuming you’ve read the previous books, you’re on book 8 so you’re so close to being caught up for when 10 comes out! And for book bingo, my suggestion is a bookish action; what about meeting an author? That would be so fun! 😊

Way of Kings is so good! I'm planning to start 2025 off with Words of Radiance :) My book bingo board has a 600+ Page book on it and I am hoping to get that one taken care of right away! Lovely looking journal :)
