Great cozy vibes💚 I'm still waiting for my library to get the second Emily Wilde book, I absolutely adored the first one and it was truly the perfect cozy story. It was also a lot of fun for me since the town they were in and all the people had Icelandic names, which is where I'm from, and the faeries discussed were all nordic ones I'm familiar with so it was almost like it was set here and I loved that.
Yes the Emily Wilde series feels like the epitome of a perfect cozy story🥰 yay I’m so excited for you to read the second one, I hope you enjoy it! That’s SO cool that you have Icelandic roots and had a special connection with the setting and fairy lore! It definitely made me excited to visit - I actually have a trip to Iceland planned this summer and I absolutely can’t wait😍✨
@anabruns omg, I hope you like it here when you visit! If you have any questions feel free to send them my way, I'm both a local and used to work for a bus tour travel agency so I'm fairly knowledgeable about tourist spots😊
I really loved reading Emily Wilde, just like you I gave the first book 5 stars and the second 4 stars. The first one was my absolute favorite, the pacing, the characters, the story line and plot of faeries - JUST LOVED IT ^^!
Aw yay I’m so happy to find someone else to share my love of that series with!! It’s such a rare treat when the characters, story, setting, AND writing are all amazing🙌🏼💞🧚🏼 just so good
100% agree with you on The Maidens... I read it shortly after it came out & just couldn't believe how disappointing it was at so many turns. I'm really glad that you had some great books to make up for this one in April. Thanks for the video! 💕
Yes, glad to hear we’re not the only ones with that experience! A disappointing follow up to the silent patient. But I’m glad too about the other books from last month! 5 stars is rare so two back to back was amazing🙈💞
I love both Little Women and all of Austen’s books. I don’t think they are in the same category , other than being classics. They’re from completely different time periods and places.
Aw thank you! Yes I can’t believe it took me so long to discover the joy of Little Women. I hope you can get to Tom Lake and enjoy it as much as I did!!
I am glad I am not the only one who sometimes can't rate books! I recently read The Hobbit for the first time and was also surprised in a good way. Not what I expected :) Fellowship of the Ring is now in my TBR list. Also, I wanted to tell you I read Remarkably Bright Creatures! So good, 5 stars for me.
Glad you understand the struggle too! Rating is hard🙈 but yay I’m so happy you read remarkably bright creatures and loved it!! And had a similar experience with the hobbit too. Seems like we have similar taste!☺️
Yep lots of travel that month so I didn’t film a video! I did include making my March reading journal pages in my Cottagecore reading vlog video though, so if you want to see what I did in my reading journal that month, you could watch that video!☺️ ua-cam.com/video/6Nq9Tk_4apE/v-deo.htmlsi=F62_J12BC-G551hY
Love this April theme! So springy! 🌷 The washi tape in the photo frames is a great idea.
Little Women is also one of my favorites! 🥰
Thank you!! I had such a fun time with this theme☺️
And YES Little Women is amazing I could rave on it forever❤️

Yep they definitely have a lot of different qualities even while both being 19th century period pieces!
I need to read Tom Lake. Little Women is a delight. As usual, I love the aesthetic you chose!

Your cover page is really cute! I didn't think the frames would work that well, but they did 🎉
Thank you!!💞 Yeah you never know if a vision for a spread with come through but I’m happy with this one☺️

I agree with you about the Maidens. Big disappointment!
Oh good I’m glad someone else feels the same!! So sad🥲
Ana, I just realized you didn’t put up a video for March’s reading journal set up and books…was it too busy of a month?
