Oh that makes a lot of sense with the school schedule!! Yeah I’ve been using this journal for around a year now.. it’s getting close to full so I’m trying to conserve space and make it last through 2024! We’ll see if I can make it😅
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that started late in the game with the book journaling I just started I made one for next month October.... I'm pretty excited about it and that's I had never even heard about it before just recently. It's never too late to get started though I don't think
Yes exactly!! Awesome that you just started your own, I've been loving having my reading journal these past few months. I'm glad I didn't make myself wait until 2024 :)
Thank you, so glad you like it!! It’s been such a fun hobby this year - so excited for you that you’re starting! I just finished setting up my 2024 reading journal, can’t wait to share it soon :)
This really inspires me to make a reading journal or spread, but I already made a really nice spread for reading in the back of my dated planner.. I literally already got my bujo and supplies out but then realised I've used all the good images etc for those spreads in my daily planner. Now I'm torn haha! Thank you for the inspiration
Lovely spread, just found your channel today. Don't worry about what time you started your reading journal - I'm about a year behind of mine because I got a bit lazy with updating mine but getting back into it now. Lucky I have my bookstagram and goodreads account to help me remember what books I read!
Welcome!!🥰 and thanks haha, I’m sure I won’t always be on top of filling it out either but I also keep track of books on my phone! Analog systems aren’t always the most convenient but they’re so satisfying😌
Wow your journal looks AMAZING! I real enjoyed hearing all about your pages and how you are going to make this journal work for you. Great video. You table lay out and music selection is also really great. Really great video production. Really enjoyed this video.
What a beautiful set up and great video, so calming and cozy! It's really obvious, how much love and effort you put into your videos and I enjoyed watching this so much! Also you gave me lots of ideas and inspiration, since I'm also gonna do a middle-of-the-year reading journal set-up - but who can help when the motivation strikes to start up a new hobby 🤷♀😉 Keep up the great work 🤗🌻
Love love love this set up! I’ve just set my Reading Journal up too (just posted the video today)! Mine is a bit sparse still but I’m hoping to fill it in more by the end of the year 🌸
Great video, love your set up ❤ I've just read two Jane Austen books and loved them! I read Pride & Prejudice and Emma. Both were brilliant! I'm a bit 'Austened out' for now but I would like to read more of hers.
Thank you!!😊 That's awesome, Pride and Prejudice and Emma were my first two Jane Austen reads as well! Pride and Prejudice will always be my favorite❤️
I keep wanting to set up a reading journal, but I haven't gotten there yet! It will probably take me until 2024 by this point haha. I love these spreads and want to do a similar reading log, but I think I want to include the author too. If I like a book, I tend to look for more by the same author. Some of my favorite books I've read this year are Hero of the Empire by Candice Millard (it's about a young Winston Churchill, I had no idea he was a POW!), In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park (about a young girl who escapes North Korea) and Gay Girl, Good God by Jackie Hill Perry (it taught me so much about the heart of Christ). I have read 3/4 books that Candice Millard has written and both of Yeonmi Park's books too.
I was in the same boat, it took me a long time of thinking about starting a reading journal before finally doing it!🤪 Author would be a great category to track for sure, I also like going on little binges of reading from the same person haha. Thanks for sharing those books, wow they ALL sound super interesting!!
I really want to do a book bracket but I read so many things throughout the month and to be honest, I don't know if I could choose a favorite. It would break my heart.
We read to know we are not alone - C S Lewis i love this one
Ooh I love that one so much!!! Definitely adding it my list of quotes to use on the future☺️
YAY...I'm not the only one who starts Reading Journals in June. LOL. I do it this way because I am a teacher and use the academic year.
Oh that makes a lot of sense with the school schedule!! Yeah I’ve been using this journal for around a year now.. it’s getting close to full so I’m trying to conserve space and make it last through 2024! We’ll see if I can make it😅
Books have to be heavy because a whole world is inside them. -Inkheart, Cornelia Funke
Oooh wow I love that quote
What a gorgeous quote!
@15:11 ahhh the Grout/Palisca Music History book😍😍🎶🎶🎶👏
Woah that’s so cool that you recognize it!! I got it a while ago when my high school library was giving away some books but still haven’t read it yet🤪

This was very enjoyable and I especially appreciate that you shared how you size the pictures of your books for your reading journal. ❤
Aw thank you, and so glad the sizing portion was useful!!😊
your Cicero quote is so good - it's worthy of including in THIS year's reading journal, too!
Yes I do love that quote!! Monthly quote pages could be fun to incorporate

Beautiful setup!! I spotted a couple pages I'd love to have on my reading bujo as well.
PS: Gabaldon is on Big Book #10.
Thank you!! Oh my, I just finally bought Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone and I’m very excited for it but was hoping that’s be the last one😂

That’s how I felt too with the little bookcase spread I put in my bullet journal!! I understand the dilemma! But I’m super happy I started mine😛
It looks awesome. I have the Book page for 2023 too where I can pick a favorite book every Month to have a winning one at the end.
Oh that’s awesome! I can’t wait to fill out the book bracket at the end of the year☺️

I love your layouts! Simple and functional!
Thank you!! That’s definitely what I’m going for☺️
Such a stunning reading journal! You should consider saving the book bracket and make a video about it at the end of the year 😊
Oooh that’s such a good idea! Yeah I’m so excited about the bracket🥰
The book club love! 🥰
Book club represent!❤
You have some great ideas for your reading journal. My favorite is your reading goal page.
Thank you!! The goals page is one of my favorites too😊 seeing them written out like that is definitely giving me motivation to read those books
I loved this setup! I got so much inspiration for my own journal 🤍 I hope to see more reading journal content, too!

Me too!! It’ll be a tough decision😳

P.S. Your book bracket is like part of a a flowchart I used to draw in my IT jobs!
That’s amazing! It’s a ~serious~ business choosing a fave book for the year haha
I REALLY loved the King Killer Chronicles!! I just with Patrick Rothfuss would play less minecraft and release his 3rd book already!
Right?! After 12+ years of waiting it better be good!!🤪
i’m so sad about it too because the name of the wind is still one of my favorite books of all time
I really want to do a book bracket but I read so many things throughout the month and to be honest, I don't know if I could choose a favorite. It would break my heart.
It’s definitely hard… especially when you read multiple 5 star books in one month!!
This is exactly how I want my next reading journal to be what colour tombow did you use?
Ooh nice! I do love how the aesthetic turned out :) the beige tombow is color 992!
