As a 48 yr old w serious health issues I can't do what you and Simon do......😢 but I live vicariously through you guys ❤ thank you for another great adventure and beautiful scenery ❤ I love all of your guys videos. Thank you so much for bringing me along for the ride . God bless you guys always
Ur much stronger than u think bridget, last year I was on an operating table having a major operation. I'm not gonna lie the guys really helped me through this trip and so did my lady! Without them I highly doubt I would have attempted it. But I'm so glad we all did it together, me and rachel won't forget it that's gor sure 😁😁👍 Andy and Simon really are true gentlemen 😁
If you have a yard, you can always camp out in your backyard. Not exactly the same, but pretty close. And can be seriously fun with the right company. And you are home, in case you need it, and medical help (EMT) is available. But you can pretend.
You are strong. My mother is overweight and had 5 valves bypassed to her heart 1 year ago. All she wants is to go camping with my toddler and working hard to do it. Everything takes work and time but if you have your mind set on one thing to do or a list it makes that hard work worth it. I have a destroyed knee and 3 slipped disks and hiked 128 miles on the Appalachian trail in 3 weeks. It just takes time and work. You can do it.
@@georgeharris7513 They're jealous you got to camp with Andy and Simon. I'm looking forward to Simon's coverage. Maybe we'll see and hear a bit more from you George.
If you said you didn’t take on water I would’ve been surprised! Lol props to you for being able to get in that thing without sinking it ! Glad you survived!
Hi Andy. Loved the video. Love seeing you and Simon together. You both have so much fun together. Looking forward to seeing the cabin build. Thanks for all your hard work filming. Absolutely beautiful scenery!!!
You'll need to call Post10 for the beavers dams! Lol. I must say that canoe did look a tad flimsy and shallow for my liking but still very interesting! Great upload Andy 😎👍
Wow Andy! After the last Sweden trip, I thought we'd never see you in a kayak again - much less with Simon! But this looked like you were really having a good time and gaining confidence - terrific fun to see. Thanks for taking us along.
Loved this trip Andy, love to see you and Simon out on the water, u 2 are hilarious together, it did make me chuckle when u both had your hoods up in the morning 😂❤. Maxx
@Sam Child there was so much wildlife! The swans you see were with us the whole 3 days too! And lots of babies too! The kayak is brilliant! Completely waterproof, unless you tip too far 🤣
This would be a great place to bring a small wire “saw” loop to pull out of a shirt pocket. And you are a hoot Dude. You are obviously a bit more wild with your buddies, and the generous breaking of wind sounds show obvious approval The close up beer drinking sounds like when my Korean friends eat soup. The slurp sound signals pleasure and satisfaction with food, so why not beer? Safe adventures.
Thank you Andy! I know that it takes so much work getting those great shots and going back and retrieving the camera so you’re doing things twice. I was squeezing my butt cheeks together watching you navigating the decent down that slippery log. So nice to see you have playful moments.
Like Bridget, I'm 62 and also living vicariously through you and Simon. What a great trip, great river, really great camp spot, cool bivvy/tent and great friends! Nice Island too! You guys ever try fly fishing? I used to go to a river about 9 hours away that's in the middle of the Mark Twain National forest, so there's no bridges, no houses, electric lines, roads, cattle, cell service or anything at all! Just pristine wilderness. Only a jet trail now and then or you'd think you were in the 18th century. I'd go out for a week at a time and sometimes never see another human. Just lots of wildlife. I sure wish I'd had the video equipment you have and could have made a record of it all, but that was 15 ears ago. Fly fishing for rainbow trout all day every day! It looks so much like where you all were it's amazing. Halfway around the world. Thank you for making this wonderful video of it for me! I hope I can get my health back and go back there next year! If any of you want to make a trip this far away, It's the Eleven Point river in southern Missouri. I'll guide if you'll help me get along... Just plan on a week on the river. October is the time to do it. Thanks again for the video!
Love seeing your adventures....Your "behind the scenes" preparations must take almost as much work. Maybe someday you can give us a peak into your shop and editing room!
Andy thank you so much for this video always like to see Simon. But this time we got to see more of your fun side . You let your hair down. Always a good time in your video's cheers
Great video of your adventure with friends! I lived in Wales for 2 years while stationed there with the US Navy. I only wish I would've explored the outdoors more.
Watching you brings back so many memories of when I was younger and in scouts, and we would go camping and enjoy the wilderness, we were never as creative or as innovative as you, though, you have brought camping to a whole new level, I love watching your videos, I now live vicariously through watching you and your friends go camping being that I have been physically disabled for years, the scenery that you show all of us is absolutely breathtaking, thank you so much for all that you do, look forward to all of your videos
Hi Andy the scenery is amazing, the tranquility of the water the sound of the birds, you have awesome friends, nice canoeing, beautiful white birds are those swans?thanks for sharing stay safe
Developing different expressions and 'looks' is an important part of being a UA-cam video personality. It seems to be fun for you and Simon on this adventure.
Was watching you doing camping pasta, while I was eating pasta that I added to some hot stew... I am getting pretty good as cooking pasta in stew without the pre cooking it in water and draining it first... I get the stew completely cooked then cook the pasta to the proper tenderness in the stew and then get it off the heat and eat... seeing you do it the normal way... just not what I have been doing for awhile.
Beautiful moonlit shot of the river. Watching your videos since we have relentless rain and I'm unable to get out and create content on my channel. Enjoying your channel. 💜Deej
I’ve canoed the Severn, from Shrewsbury to Newnham on Severn, home. Brilliant trip, last bit needs a bit o planning due to tides and winds. Bit of an epic for us on the day, but memorable. Fantastic you were willing to try an untested craft, don’t think I’d managed even to get in it without tipping. Well done Andy, love your spirit of adventure.
Andy as someone who watches yours and simon’s videos your rest days with filming always gives simon’s videos a different overview than yours and when he does the same, strangely it good for watching both your videos 👍🏻
What a splendid trip what more could you need . Good friends good weather simple travels a match made in heaven . Was disapointed Simon wasent in his Ceadar strip Canoe but what the hey the trip went well . Thank you for putting it out there Andy it was a pleasure to watch .
Great trip Andy ! I like that canoe. Especially on those mile and a half, up and down portages in the Arrowhead District in Minnesota / Ontario . Can't even canoe anymore. Can't NOTHING anymore. Am an invalid who travels with Andy, Jarl, Xander, Joe, Jon & Erin, Matthew, and of course the Great Steve Wallis ("Camping With Steve") Thx 2 all of U. You complete my last days! I've reached 77. 8 more and then I quit ! Ha-ha 😂
looks like a challenge, well done all of youfor going for it. i love the sound of the water when you paddle its so tranquil. can't be easy to film either! many thanks for posting
Thanks Andy for bringing us all on your river trip. One thing I am always amazed at is the cacophony of bird song in your videos and especially on this one. Such a pleasant sound to wake up to. I think the Aussie bush here can almost feel silent in comparison.
I was watching the news earlier - an interesting piece on the success of the reintroduction of beavers into a N Yorkshire forest and I half saw the thumbnail and for a minute I thought you had travelled by canoe from Norway to England and for a minute I thought " no way " lol
Looked like a fantastic trip for a 3 days one. Y'all have some big beavers, those blockages were Big.... Glad things went mostly well for you Andy and you got to enjoy it without any big mishaps. Thank you for sharing with us and hope you have more this summer. Take Care 👍👍👍👍👍
This looks like a fun, relaxing trip 😊 I just recently bought a folding kayak by a company in the U.S. called Tucktec and I'm really enjoying it! It's lightweight and easy to pack away inside my car. I look forward to seeing your review video of the one you have...
I cannot get my wet suit boots off either. Now bought neoprene ones with a side zip, game changer, also the water shoes are a good idea. Love the channel
Thanks to the Canadian military, I was fortunate enough to live in Germany for 8 years but I never got to the uk, there is so much history there, it’s on my bucket list
