Thanks for joining myself and @JakesJourneyMate on a 5 day canoe drip down the longest river in the uk... The River Severn.
We set off from Crew Green just inside North wales and wild camped en route to what was originally planned as Bridgnorth but we ended up finishing in Iron bridge about 8 mile shy on day 5 due to the weather and logistics.
We had a blast and i loved every second of the trip from the minute i got in my van in Suffolk and headed out for the adventure.
Thanks to Jake for coming and making some memories i will take with me for life.

At under a minute I had to pause.... my first stealth camp was in Crew Green! Easter 1974, en-route to Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala). Cycle camping with friends.

I live close to Crew Green and often paddle from there to Shrewsbury or Iron bridge camping out overnight. It was great to see this video and all the familiar sights. Thanks for sharing.

This is cool! Did a 2day trip launched from the steps at Bridgnorth think it’s a rugby club, camped just down stream of a Pub called the unicorn, and then ended our journey at the wharf.
It’s a lovely relaxed journey paddle as much or as little as you like.

Had my headphones on enjoying the soothing sounds of the flowing waters and each smooth paddle stroke -- almost dozed off.

Loved watching this, I was brought up on the Severn and great to see parts that I have not been on the water for years or fished for a while! If you ever get chance do the iIonbridge to Bewdley section or onto Worcester (load of pubs along that section, Mughouse, Hampstall, Lenchford, The Wharf, Camp House with a peacock and other birds) , you would love it, even in the rain. Another great video thanks for sharing.
