A Parents Wedding Gift To Their Child... (aka A father's gift to his son on his wedding day)

In this video, I ask for your input with regards to what I should give my son and his bride as a wedding gift. I know that the groom's parents typically pay for the rehearsal dinner. I'm totally up for that. But what I am trying to decide is what to give my son and his bride beyond that to help them kickstart their lives together.

My husband and I are of the mindsets that if we can help and make things easier, we will. Only you know your children. If they are hard-working, conscientious people who have a fiscal mindset, then giving them a generous wedding gift is just that... a generous wedding gift. I don't subscribe to the idea that they need to struggle to grow closer and learn to work together. The way my husband and I struggled in the beginning was mentally exhausting and emotionally stressful and if we can help ease that burden with a gift, we're happy to do so! Life is hard enough these days. I feel like each parent needs to make the decision based on their own liquidity and their child's situation. Good luck with your decision and congratulations!!!
