Surprise Announcement: Walmart Health Is Closing all 51 Locations!

Back in 2019, #walmart launched #WalmartHealthCenters just down the road from me. Their mission was to help people save money and live better. I was one of the people that took advantage of this and was very satisfied with the service I received and their pricing model.
Through their experience managing Walmart Health Centers and Walmart Health Virtual Care, they determined there is not a sustainable business model for them to continue.
Walmart has decided to close all 51 health centers across five states and shut down the virtual care offering. The challenging reimbursement environment and escalating operating costs create a lack of profitability that make the care business unsustainable for Walmart.
They will continue to operate 4,600 Pharmacies and more than 3,000 Vision Centers.

This is the 1st time hearing about Walmart Health Centers . It was a sweet deal. Sad for the people who have to find another carrier.
