Absolute magic how the white flowers emerged from the background. What a technique. I love the dual brush idea. You have obviously mastered it. Great to watch.
Ordered Cobalt Green and Indigo. Thanks to Google, found how to mix Indigo. My attempt isn't nearly as nice as yours, but the homemade indigo really sets off the flowers. It took some time to figure out two brushes, but it's so much easier than constantly messing with one. As a beginner, this was a perfect project to try. Thank you again for listing the colors.
your welcome, Indeed these flowers, I always use for beginners, they look nice. you have a picture taken of yours? can you put it online? Good of you two brushes !! ones you got it it's fun to paint :)
Thank you, brushes are: Manet galaxy synthetic brush,nr 8, I bought it in our local art store, the brown brush is a Talens Holland nr 7: 115 pure red sable.
Nagyon könnyed lett a virág. Látom a két ecset hasznosságát, Itt de főleg a portrénál éreztem , hogy úgy jobb ha azonnal szétkeverődik a festék. Ki fogom próbálni( bénázok egy jót :) :) :) )
Hi Bethany, the blue color I use in the beginning is indigo, I use that color often to mix with other collors, it just makes a little difference. a little napels yellow for the flowers, also some grey, the red is cadmium red mixed with burned sienna, I also used a little burned omber for the background, the green is mixed with indigo and kobalt green, also a little cadmium yellow. I think that's about it. hope it's of use to you :)
