Hedwig's Art Flowers white and red, watercolor

Flowers white and red, watercolor wet painting.
Paper brand: Fabriano 300gr.
The colors I use for the red flowers are: cadmium red, to make them darker I mix with some alizarine crimson,
the harts with red and burned umber.
For the negative of the white flowers, I use indigo blue with some burned umber, just because the color is somethime to strong.
Also within the flower the same colors, The harts are with cadmium yellow, cadmium orange with some red, the little lines
with Red, burned umber.
The green is rembrand green with yellow oker, and probably stil some indigo blue in my brush.
the lines at the end are, a mix of indigo blue and burned umber.
As you can see my colors are together, I often take paint from different kinds of red, or blue green and yellow.
why? just because it gives me a special color and not to strong.
Why using two brushes? it's easier because I do not need to take paint every time again if I cleaned my brush that's what you
do when you paint with one brush.
The second brush has only water, To allow the paint to flow away.
With a small painting I use brushes nr: 7 or 8. mostly the one with water is thicker.
It depents on how much I want the water to spread.
The liner is to finish up the painting and make some random loose details.

Thank you, well, I bought the boxes and the cubes appart in a local Art store, then I put the colors together, you can buy them at any Art shop, empty boxes, just type in google watercolor box empty, all kinds it's diffucult to choose lol so many, mine are about 30 years old :) somethimes I also you tubes and put it on on the other side of the box, on the lid :) hope it helps :)

I don't know how my comment about the loud music got on your sight. I watch your beautiful and fascinating flower watercolors from start to finish.
I meant for my comment to go to the artists doing beautiful horse portraits. I don't think. visual art should have to compete with music, grand or otherwise. Mute it.

I understand what you mean, and indeed, the music is not meant to be competitive, it's to be relaxed while you watch.
It is difficult to do it right for everyone, opinions about this are divided, That is why there is a mute button on the video films on your tube to switch off the music for the viewers, if someone does not want to hear the music.
That way, everyone has the choice, don't you think. :)
