Excellent presentation. I now know a bit more about reverb pedals than I knew previously. My amps have real spring reverbs in them, and the only time I've felt that digital would have been better was during a _very_ windy outdoors gig, when the wind blew so hard it vibrated the springs.
Fantastic video, I'm no closer to finding a pedal but at least I understand the concept! Anyone got a suggestions for a rock/metal reverb just to thicken out solos and melodic phrases?
Id love a strymon... to ecky for me at the mo...orange super crush 100 in my sights right now! I'll just have to make do with my mr black deluxe plus for now! Which is a lovely pedal with trem combo, im all about surf!
I realize this is a 2 year old video. I am hoping for some help. I am a DJ with mixers that have no effect’s. I have a wedding that the bride n groom want a solo saxophonist to freestyle with my DJ music sets. The saxophonist wants reverb. I will have a wired XLR mic or maybe use my lapel mic (for ceremony) to clip on his saxophone and walk around the dancing area as requested by bride and groom. Any suggestions for making this happen without having to buy a new mixer? Thank you.

But that sounds cool, you can use that creatively!
@@michaelcraig9449 At the time I was too busy trying to stop the wind blowing our set lists around to be creative!
I have a Neunaber Immerse Mk 2..It has a Sustain mode where you don't have to press anything for infinite sustain.. Amazing..
Best video on reverb ever. Thank you so much!

Man’s content is so elite.
Very practical and clear, thank you!
Great video. Very informative! I have a Big Sky and it is fantastic. Sam does a great presentation!
Great explaining, thank you! 😃

Would love to know what song you are playing at 7:23
Cost effective is cool, but only if it sounds better than the original one. So which sounds better for reverb, analog or digital ones?
Big Sky is nice but it costs as much as I paid for my Vox tube amp
About the freeze function: Can I use it to improvise over whatever chord is on "freeze"?
Would have been nice to hear some thing for Rock and 80s Metal

I'm waiting for a video that tries to use low end pedals and amps to get close to the delay stacked Ry Cooder sound
Very important a good reverb
k but whats best for leads
When reverb is the only pedal needed it might be a keeper 😀
But for the voice whit xlr nothing good😢
There ar pedals that emulate that thunderclap sound pretty darn well, actually …
You can get away with using a Canyon and having some of these effects even though it's for delay.
U need to change from rythem to lead
WTF? I click on these videos for the great reviews and Dagan"s charm. This guy is like the dry setting on a pedal ;)

While I also enjoy Dagan “The Geordie’s” vids, this presenter knows his stuff as well. He’s concise and articulate. I like a bit of diversity!
He is great. Calm down. :-)
Get off your mothers computer Jeffrey and go to your room.
Sam and Dagan have their own styles. I love them both.
