First, I want to say I have so much respect for the guts it takes to put yourself out there and help educate people on something that's more common than most people might think.
I have a few genuine questions, coming from a place of curiosity. I apologize in advance if anything is unintentionally offensive.
I've noticed that DID seems to be more common in female hosting people, living in "Western" countries like the US, Canada and UK. I can probably deduce why that is or why it might appear that way to me.
My question is more in relation to the other commonalities i've noticed, such as brightly colored hair, very progressive, almost always in a system of overwhelmingly LGBTQ+ alters. The people i've watched and listened to on UA-cam, couldn't be more different but at the same time the same, if that makes sense.
I'm wondering why that might be?
Again, this isn't coming from a place of judgement or criticism. If I've unintentionally offended you, please feel free to ignore me like I hope you ignore other offensive comments, or call me whatever makes you feel better.

For Cass my horror recs probs arent much just because I'm not a horror fan personally I much prefer the suspense and fantasy genre but my recs are the black mirror series I believe basically every ep is a different horror thing and every it terrifies me cept for the old one that's kinda funny and obvi Netflix has alot of horror movies it you know where to look

We have quite a few alters, but we have an issue of not having enough money to buy different outfits and we have to be aware of dysphoria of host/me because i am usually somewhat aware. I'm not sure what we can do about not havign enough money for different outfits but wanting everyone to feel themselves. any advice?
Hello! We use a lot of charity/thrift shops. And most of our clothes are very neutral really (hoodies, pants etc). Only those of us who are out often have really individual clothes if our fashion sense is super different. But yeah, we live in comfy neutral clothes really unless someone specific really wants to dress us. But sometimes little things like binding your chest to tackle dysphoria even if your outfit isn't generically masculine can be helpful. Or things like jewellery, hairstyles etc that are just a reminder of your individuality. Thrifting is your friend! - Eddie
@@thesparksystem5959 thanks for the advice, yeah I'm working on getting a binder but couldnt find one last time I looked. All the money I get from now on needs to go to our service dog so we may have to wait a while but thanks for the advice (:
I understand that. Another thing we do is try to understand that we don't match the body so we treat it more like decorating a puppet or something dumb. Like painting your room or something. Just because it's not you doesn't mean it doesn't look good. I'm a teenage boy, but I grasp that I can still make the body I'm controlling look cool. Hence our hair and piercings etc.
@@thesparksystem5959 I also definitely need to work on letting the body switch more (letting someone else take control gives me anxiety). Idk how to work on that though
