You can tell Maven was a teacher. The way he delivers his content verbally you can see he has spoke confidently in front of a room of people many many times in his life. One reason why I am always interested in listening to him talk no matter the topic.

In hockey we just wear flip flops when we shower to avoid touching those pissed covered shower floors.
Yeah the Navy taught me to use shower shoes (flip flops) when ever using public showers. I’m surprised wrestlers don’t use them.

There’s not a feeling in the world I hate more than my bare feet on public change room/shower floors. Flip flops are a must, and I learned that from playing hockey too.

💯absolutely right and no sandals/shower shoes w/drain holes either!!dirty water can seep back up and get you as well!!I actually got good ones outta commissary years ago (during a year stint unfortunately)100% rubber!!they're higher up/no drain holes/and have sidewalls but they're bright orange!!🤣🤣but hey had these for years,now I pack them everytime I go to the gym/travel/vacation and haven't caught a foot fungal infection since!!I got scabies and jungle rot on my feet before now I realize how important it is to care for your own feet!!I literally had to be hospitalized for weeks/months before!!was awful,they'd bleed just walking from hospital bed to bathroom cause I hated using bed pans!!😂😂yeah...notta good time!!don't wish it on anyone!!take care of your feet people!!God bless

I was honestly not a fan of yours when I was a kid, because your character was a villain. But after rewatching those scenes, I can appreciate how good of a villain you were. As good as an actor and athlete you were though, I think educator and entertainer on UA-cam is your real calling. I would come back video after video even if all you did was talk about printers.

It's crazy how skewed your memories and perceptions are as a kid, because until I discovered this channel and rewatched those shows, I really thought Maven was a big baddie. Turns out his character was always a good guy who just had some sass and attitude. An anti-hero like Deadpool. I for sure would have hated Deadpool as a kid.

I've always found it informative to learn about the ins and outs of traveling on the road while being a WWE wrestler, as that is the side of the profession that so few of us ever see and may not be able to fully appreciate. Thank you Maven, for enlightening all of us!

Learned an important lesson that day, and my tools were never out of my sight again.
Raven, in the Marine Corps we were also taught to take our main gear and uniform with us on the plane. So I traveled with my boots and camouflage uniform with me at all times.

As a former independent wrestler myself, who retired in 2018, I can confirm that the Atlas is still used by the smart wrestlers. Because let's face it, you never want to be traveling to a show in a random place and hear "GPS signal lost" without having any way of finding out where to go.
Google especially also from time to time likes to try and convince you a corn field is a highway or sends you off into the absolute worst neighborhoods in the US where your chance of getting killed goes up 10x.

I think I had that exact same road atlas. Kids these days get turn by turn instructions, but back then (20 years ago wasn't THAT long ago) you'd have the map beside you to figure out how much further you had to go and where you had to turn to get there.
When Mapquest came along, I thought the world had completely changed. Now, you could print out your driving instructions!
Physical Maps are quite the big thing to us back in the day, but today, it's all Smart GPS like Google Maps to go wherever we want now.
True,but I tend not to become dependent on GPS/technology because I'm thinking chances of technology blackouts are becoming pretty imminent as of lately, so yeah I think 50 state road map atlases are a must have definitely!!💯👍

Funny story: Me an a friend was visiting another friend across the country. I had my military sea bag with just my clothes for the week, my friend had his clothes and most of his video game consoles in his big cloth suitcase on Greyhound. They treated my sea bag like fine wine putting in on the bus, then the chucked my friend's suitcase like a freebie. Thankfully nothing was broken but still

I always kept a Thomas Guide Road map book in my car for years, so the Road Atlas absolutely makes sense.
When I saw the title, my first thought was 'Depends on who you left your bag around' +rimshot+. But very interesting video. When I used to work crew on shows in the UK, some guys would show up with a half empty carryall bag, take out their gear and proceed to fill the bag to the brim with the complimentary energy drinks and food till they could barely zip it shut, talk about garnishing your wages with free stuff. Did they care if there was any left for the crew who had to bust their ass for 4 or 5 hours straight, nope lol. 😛

Never understood the road map thing. Garmin had GPS out to the general public in the 90s. I know I had one in the early 2000s.
