Justin coming to work for the channel is the best. So much quality content back to back to back and projects I never thought would make a return. Keep it up guys
I would put a thermostat an water housing neck in the back of the 6.7 head . Let the coolant flow through the head . No dead-end. Keep cylinders 6 an 5 cool. . .
I'm sure he is well aware of that most common issue with the 6.7.. Nearly everyone that lives in a warm climate just removes or deletes them anyways.. Especially in FL.. If it was a 12v would you have told him about the killer dowl pin too?.. LOL.. You don't need some high dollar banks crap to keep a nut from falling in your engine.. unplug it or throw it in the trash.. My 2013 starts just fine without one even living in Indiana.. Been that way for 7yrs
The very best thing about the 5.9 you just got rid of is that Armageddon time end of the world those mechanical diesels are the only thing that will run. Everything else will be dead electromagnetic pulse. I guess it’s a good thing will already be barbecued by that time.😂 i’m gonna have to say I think this truck is my favorite of everything you have but then again the air boats nice. There you go that’s the package for the spring and summer use the square body as the tow rig for the airboat.
The 5.9 p pump is what this truck needed. With that being said, i probably would've put a 5.9 cr in it. Never the less this should be one hell of a street beast.
Perfect. Time to Duramax swap it. Like it should have been 👌😎. Keep it GM 🤙. Front clips come off in a matter of minutes on a Square body . And far easier to put aside 🤦♂️ .
What adapter plate did you end up using that will bolt the 6.7 to the 47/48 and have the cam seal at the rear? Is it the one from the ppump24v or is it from a 5.9 Commonrail ?
so after the mud truck, ron, the square body, and burnout truck are done are you going to get the mud truck thats fully caged going the white one that would be cool to turn into a racing mega truck
Its always spray which is either for a build motor or a motor you dont care about i mean when your running big boost and then spraying it then it will fail im not sure why theres so many vehicles that break in your fleet.
I don’t plan to spray this one. Might leave a small shot for a spool jet. That’s about it. If needed. That’s what’s nice about going to the common rail. Should be way more streetable reliable this way.
Very Cool!!!!! Love the mechanical stuff but cant beat a commonrail!!! Dont get caught with those blue parts though lol Are you running the 68rfe adapter plate? I thought they were a little thicker than the 48re version. Also any issue with the pilot hub on the back of the crank?
@@warrenmichael918 the motor is toasted or the burnout 12 valve is it still good? Or let's look at the gas motors he has, all of the motors he has are blown up from constant high rpm.
@@MrRosscopeco the 12 valve could easily be rebuilt if he wanted to but the 6.7 makes more sense because it can be tuned for better everyday driving. You mentioned a new block, a new block isnt needed, just better supporting parts if he wants to have a stronger motor.

Coolant bypass
Second the coolant bypass. They’re easy install, and provide plenty to cyl 6.
I installed a coolant bypass on my rig truck and it has saved me from blowing a head gasket on cylinders 5 &6 lol
The old Chevy square body is my favorite truck and with the 5.9 Cummins that's my dream truck.
Had me worried in the first half. Sweet to see a 6.7 going in, I feel like it’s a littler underrated as an engine.
Can’t wait until you do a Duramax build!! I know they have your heart so I know one is coming soon!!
Such an underrated channel! Keep grinding with good content boys your time will come. 500k by the end of this year I'm calling it now!!
I was thinking you was was bout to pu the 6.0 in it. Lol. Love the build great job!!
I hope you pulled the 68RFE adapter plate off and put the one from the 5.9 on the 6.7. 68RFE adapter plate wont work on 47/48RE.
I loved the 5.9 P pump! I thought it fit the vintage of the truck really well..
I don't doubt you'll be happy with the upgrade though
Well, this has been my favorite truck. Build on UA-cam so far. Please keep us updated with these videos thank you j h diesel
Sweet, I have a 2010 6.7 mega cab dually! It will be cool to see how the motor does and what gets done to it!
Positive things to notice …. Good battery and good starter
Need to put a banks intake on the new engine. Grid heater delete kit. Plus the big boost tubes and you will not regret it

very exited to see this 6.7 come together
I love seeing my old truck in the background
Starting that thing up just pissed off all your mosquitos. That's one way to keep them away!!
The shop looks great.

tinfoil hat much?
12v will run on anything too, you could prolly get fuel from animal fat or walnuts if u were goin off the grid
J&H. Rolling snow
For everyone that's been watching this channel since since Cleetus pushed you to make videos, you owe us video on the blue crew cab square body
Respect! Stoked you kept it Cummins!
This thing looks sooo sick, I hope you can get it reliable!
Big block chevy power steering reservoirs are remote mount

I said to my woman i hope its a 6.7 and it is! My dad has one and it can pull the paint off a house! This is my favorite truck on youtube
That frame (and old engine) looked clean. Great job fellas!
5.9 adapter plate fit right to the 6.7?
I like where this is going 🔥🔥
Probably my favorite build from you guys yet! Awesome!
Love this truck. New engine is gonna be sweet
Perfect. Time to Duramax swap it. Like it should have been 👌😎. Keep it GM 🤙. Front clips come off in a matter of minutes on a Square body . And far easier to put aside 🤦♂️ .
Because of the intercooler and radiator setup we did on this it’s easier to just pull the cab. No duramax. But we will do a Duramax one at some point.
6.7 is the way to go..
JH and Justin, y'all rock! Can't wait for it to fire up. Peace ✌️
How much would you sell the dodge cab for and how much would you sell it 24 valve engine for
Can’t wait to see it back together 🤘🏼
I can’t wait to see how well this thing runs
For them thats almost freezing lol
Id like to see what you can do with an old Detroit diesel. Things sound insane all hopped up.
I was worried you were gonna do a gas or duramax motor lol hell yeah to the 6.7!!!!!!
That engine is hella correct for the truck.
P Pump is cool but common rail is king🔥
Ron burgundys motor in the square would be wicked
The list of mods sounded like a Greg_A mod list for one of his Cummins!
Not going to lie I was nervous at 1st......let's go
Also, 50 degrees isn’t no damn cold start 😂
What adapter plate did you end up using that will bolt the 6.7 to the 47/48 and have the cam seal at the rear?
Is it the one from the ppump24v or is it from a 5.9 Commonrail ?
Wonder if it a head gasket issue or a turbo prob
so after the mud truck, ron, the square body, and burnout truck are done are you going to get the mud truck thats fully caged going the white one that would be cool to turn into a racing mega truck
What’s up with the blue 4 door square body?

I'm pausing at the 1 min mark, if this turns into a 6.7 truck I'm gonna be 😮😮😮😮
I was worried you were going to put a 6.0 powerstroke in it 😂
6.7 run way smoother than old p pump I think it’s a good choice for a street truck.
Comment and share. Let's get these boys some views💪🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
I hope a d max goes in this thing!
Perfect time to swap the converter for a higher stall to match the turbo and didn’t do it..

When you gonna get that old blue chevy in the background done.
Fleese and Freedom engines look em up.
Fleece, they do awesome work I live right by their shop.
is that the one that the rusted bolts& nuts fall in the intake from the grid heater ? Because the older one had the death pin in the front
The grid heater will be removed on this one.
Let’s see a built industrial injection Cummins motor put in this ole girl.
It’s a Chevy! Throw a LBZ Duramax in there
Honestly i get a head from d&j and be done with it. All the goodies, fire ring, porting, etc.
That poor motor should of left the chat a while ago 😂
Lmao. Been on its last leg for a minute!!
@@JHDieseland4X4 definitely 😂
Great content thanks for sharing
I was hoping for a 12v but Once i heard no more mechanical p pump i knew it was gonna be a 6.7
You know we need to talk about that blue square body right?
I came here to say that lol
Just a customer truck
maybe start having a brief customer truck segment in some of the videos.@@kick_then_shift
Hell yea that’s going to be way better
why do you put brown paper on the gaurds ?
You can tell JH is starting to make that YT money. He never finishes anything, and every month it's a new project.
This channel is popping lately
That's the way to do this lifting thecab a whole lot easier
Truck is gonna be awesome
What it needs is a powerstroke
oven cleaner on greasy moyors work great
It’s going to be rank
Good one jh love it
Let’s goo Duramax please 😊
Stick the square body and the bed itself onto a Duramax frame what engine
Longer videos would be nice
crewcab square body needs a cummins too
you got to dyno the truck after
Looks like my 4Runner rn… just blew head gasket.. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
This guy could break anything but a Prius lmao
2nd gen swap that manifold. sounds sooooooooo fucking good
6.7 💪🏻💪🏻
nice god work
Bout to break the internet
You really need to build a good block like Dart block or something billet and build it properly for the RPMS you continuously hold them at
What RPM do you think he continuously held the 12 valve at?
@@warrenmichael918 REDLINE
That block is strong enough for anything he will throw at it. He isnt running 110 Pound springs looking to get it to 5000 RPMs.

Freakin sweet
After you've blown up everything on the property. Did you ever think, it might be me ?
Where is the t-shirt: F… it broke!
Wow You mean JH blew up another project!
Can't wait
6.7 powerstroke
Hell yeah brother
Dude I love your videos!!!! But get a mic please!!!!!
Duramax would’ve been cool
6.5 turbo Detroit
A lot of irons in the fire bud 😂
Did you guys see Them give eachg other alittle smooch a little kiss during that speed up part of the video you have to look close but they kissed. lol
man you blowing engines like your buddy cleeter...
