This one does tow quite regularly too, he's picking up a project car for me next weekend so you can put this wheel/tyre setup to work if you're interested!
Hi totally unrelated but I was wondering how I would get in contact with you I have a few questions about your 1981 grand marquis t5 swap I’m doing the same swap and was wondering how you setup the clutch pedals thank you in advance
I’ll do some searching to try and find the article with pictures I used that had a template. But if you join Manual Swapped Panthers on Facebook there’s a wealth of information, you can look me up as Devlin and there should be other people who did it who will have suggestions. Cheers!
Haha I’ve very slowly started collecting parts. So far I have the injection pump for the OM606. Now all I need is the truck/engine/transmission 🤣 it’s basically finished right? It’s coming along though, I’m just being picky on my truck choice
@@1988diesel I just followed up with him, it's not on a forum, turns out he posted in facebook groups: "Square Body Duramax Swap" and "Duramax engine swaps" under Dustin larrimore, or you can look him up on instagram where he's got some posts on it as well
No worries, he gets that all the time as it looks strange, but yea he hauls all the time with it! He’s on insta as Dustin Laramore with shots of it working/hauling/towing. Cheers
I know the exact intersection, there’s no wayyy that truck didn’t see it coming! It’s like a 1km straightaway aha But yea it was certainly going quickly, well over the speed limit
For best towing and mileage is why, and it’s cool. But I recently rented a gm uhaul with the new 6.6 gas and I was blown away, good Power, good mileage great torque. It was a great engine!
That must be powerful with that conversion but those big rims are hideous should've stayed with the original 16inch and put stainless steel wheel covers on it they would look a whole lot better than those ghetto rims they suck.

The old feeling is why i love these old trucks
Man I wish I had a buddy like that kid. I’d build one right away. My dream truck. 😍😍😍
I see this around kelowna all the time. Absolutely awesome build.
Does he have his own channel or a place he posts pictures? I'd love to see a video more in depth about the build process.
Great Video! So good to always see a great story behind each custom ride. Excited for more content!

Man what a truck
I love seeing that thing around town it’s a beauty!
beautiful build man👍
Cool old Chevy. That looked like a nasty accident. I hope everyone was ok.
I want to build one like this also but with big tires and hooked to a trailer.

🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ beautiful The Chevy Body Square

NV4500 behind a Duramax? How is that even possible?
On forums he’s got a whole write up about the machining process and all the work he did. I don’t have a link but he wrote the book on it aha
@@200degrees oh ok. That answers my question.
@@200degrees which forum did he post it on?

Beautiful truck
You think you can change a 1976 vinaabago vagoo dolly yo a regular dolly truck
Love the truck. Not hating, can you haul on those rubber bands ?

Lol, i heard u mention swapping a om606 i was gonna do that in a crew cab square with a 4l80e
What stopped you? That sounds like a great swap! Aha
@@200degrees money.... haha! I'll be sure to do it sometime
Love it
the cops drove by first before the hit ! 7:35
I’m building a 77 crew cab . I’m doing the same swap .. lbz
I also have a 77 crew cab.
He’s selling the truck, or at least it was for sale!
I think he listed it when it was original at some point, I’m not aware of him listing it since though. I could be wrong though!

This '79 Chevy Silverado still runs great, but it needs a good paint coat on the bodywork to look renewed. Too much rusty even on hood cap
I think it’s badass then you don’t gotta be a pussy about damaging the body
What’s the chances you could email me all those pictures in your video
dustinlarrimore is his name on instagram, he built the truck, I’m sure if you reached out to him he’d be happy to help

Duramax for better mileage? Do you think an LT Gen 5 would have an even better mileage in this car
For best towing and mileage is why, and it’s cool. But I recently rented a gm uhaul with the new 6.6 gas and I was blown away, good Power, good mileage great torque. It was a great engine!
@@200degrees so a Gen V LT would be a good motor for a large truck?
It would get better milage but make alot less torque and be less efficient overall a truck this big should have a diesel in it
Delivery truck looks like was a yellow light what happened lol
You have the guys contact info got some questions for him
Only thing wrong is it ain't a cummins, jk bad ass build
I call it BadA$$!

Why a 5600 and not a ZF6?
$$ they weren’t available when he was putting it together at a reasonable price.
