Yes, it makes the colour more vibrant and it will last longer. The colour will also reach it's full potential, so it will look how the dye does (which is why I now prefer to mix my own).
ADORE IS MY FAVOURITE DYE EVER. after dying my hair light pink, bright pink, turquoise, and purple, i've decided that i will forever dye my hair with Adore mixed with conditioner. i dyed it with all Adore dyes when i did yellow & turquoise and it stayed in so fabulously and can you beat $5 per bottle?! and then you further extend that bottle with the conditioner.. it's awesum.
I have heard of it but haven't used it. Leaving it on for 4 hours is just my preference with any semi-permanent dye. I might be using it in the future. And thank you!
She used Color Jamz Turquoise and Splat Lusty Lavender. Most semi permanent hair dyes tell you to leave the dye in for 30 mins but you can really leave it in for as long as you want. Since semi permanent dyes are vegetable based they will not damage your hair so for more intense color you can leave the dye in for 2-4 hours.
It's all one song. Thank you! Use the brand Adore mixed with an even ratio of white conditioner to the dye, and leave it on your hair for a few hours. (To keep it longer)
Semi-permanent hair dye has no harmful chemicals in it, in fact it actually good for your hair so you can leave it on however long you want! Some people leave dye on overnight.
sweet.. its funny how I was planning on dying my hair purple and decided to make the under parts of it turquoise just yesterday and now i see someone else doing that color combo in their hair :)... two of my fave colors.. I am now in the process of lightening up my hair.. I have done two sessions of lighting so far and the top is getting quite light but the bottom parts of my hair seem to be the most stubborn.. although lighter than before they still seem a bit yellow and the tips at the very bottom kind of orange or light brown still.. anyway its really neat seeing someone with this color combo I am even more convinced now that I want to have this color combo.. here have a thumb up from me :).
I LOVE my Manic Panic. I have been red, orange, pink, blue, green on fade, and maybe purple sometime soon. My colors are always wonderful even after they fade and last months (even when faded they are bright!) I do a little extra though to make it last (i.e. mix a neutral color filler into your color, apply over entire head, blow dry, apply again and comb all the way through, wrap in plastic wrap, shower cap, bandanna, and towel, then I sleep with it and rinse in cold water when i wake up).
Usually 2-3 weeks determining on how long you leave it in and touch ups and stuff. If you want it to last long without having to redye it every 3 weeks after you dye your hair mix the rest into your conditioner (Preferrably color stay conditioner) and that suffices as a touch up. :)
A tip for dying extensions: Put like 2 bottles/boxes of dye into a plastic zip-lock bag with some water so that the consistency of the dye is not too thick.(I usually use 1 to 1 ratio, but I don't recommend it if you are dyeing vibrant colors, because it might change the color a bit. Use 1 to 2 ratio instead) Then place the extensions into the bag niecly, meaning that they aren't full of tangles and stuff. Move them around in the beginning and every 5 minutes so the hair covered with dye evenly.
I don't know the number of wefts that will be in yours xD put them on your head and decide where you want to dye the two colours then take the extension off of your head (make sure you remember where you want it split!), put the two different sections on two different on saran wraps, and dye the one side
Thank you! And if your hair is brown you will have to bleach it blonde or else the colour will only tint your hair. Extensions are not needed. The dyes are in the description but I like to use Adore now.
It will tint your hair. The semi-permanent doesn't lift colour, so its just like taking a crayon to a piece of paper the colour of your hair(if that makes sense). And thank you!
wash every third day or so and it lasts for a LONG time. also rinse shampoo as soon as you put it in, the longer it sits the more color comes off when you rinse. NEVER use hot water, make it as cold as you can stand it, and avoid just standing under the water, move when your hair feels clean of suds, any amount of water will make it fade, always use color-safe shampoo and conditioner.
Well I take the Vocational School Program for Cosmetology in my county and it's free knowledge but you have to pay $160 for a kit and $5 for the state board test which gets you your license. So yes, very worth it. Half day of school and half day of doing hair? Not having to pay thousands for college, but instead $165, and still getting my license? COUNT ME IN.
Special Effects is the #1 Semi-Permanent Hair Dye there is out there, but you have to get it on eBay, for like $15 for 4 ounces. #2 I would say is Adore, where you can buy at your local beauty supply store (not Sally's!) for about $5. With Adore though, you're going to want to mix it with some conditioner as you can see me doing in my newer videos. And Thank you!
i used splat on my hair 3 or 4 times and honestly, id just go to sallys. the hair dye last much longer and bleach will always damage but i think the splat damages a lot more. if you want a good cheap bleach you can get the packets and a developer for about 5 dollars or you could go to hot topic and get their bleach. it works great on dark hair. i hope i was helpful (:
Purple will work better because it tones down the brassy goldy colours :) My hairdresser actually dyed my hair turquoise when I still was yellow/gold (!) at first it was perfect but then it became green (mehh) so turquoise works better if you already have colours that are close to it (blue, green or white)
I usually leave the hair in the dye for like 40 minutes, but if you want longer lasting results feel free to leave it in for an hour. The cleanest and easiest way of dyeing extensions.
you'll have to be very careful when rinsing your hair the black and blue will bleed into the blonde. try doing the black and blue first until the black dye has fully washed off then the blonde :)
If you have yellow in your hair, if you put any sort of blue in t it is going to look sort of blueish. You have to have your hair almost white. Use toner.
also. tip for the next time you dye your hair extensions (if you dont already know) using foil is a lot more efficient c: you won't end up waisting as much dye
I was at his house when I was dying it and he never leaves me alone when I do anything so he came in and I was like "ok if you're gonna keep coming in and out then you're going to help me" He finally stopped hating my hair colours haha
I thought he meant for the actual dying of your hair. But shampoo shouldn't be used anyway even if it has colour in it, shampoo makes it fade faster. I just use conditioner and it stays in well.
The amount of dye you used on one of the big extensions is almost enough for half my head 😹 i have thin hair but A LOT of it, it looks like I have thick hair; But I dye mine quite dark colours like dark purple and black so I guess that's why I don't use as much? Idk lol
Yeah, this was a very hard concept for my parents to understand when I was your age (God, that makes me sound old). It eventually took the words of my aunt to convince them that its just hair and clothes. Its nothing permanent. Its your way of expressing yourself, and it doesnt make you a freak. It makes you an individual. Its not going to lead to you doing drugs or getting tattoos and piercings (I have countless tattoos and piercings, and would definetly suggest to proceed with caution.)
Hell anything is a genre these days "screamo, crabcore, emo, alternative-melodic-post-death-grindcore, potato-core..." I say metal and respond to dirty looks with drooling, it has worke thus far. And yes this girl in the video is absolutely gorgeous!
I love how its a misconception that the older sibling dyes their hair first, I am the youngest sibling and i dye my hair every other week, my sister isn't even allowed to dye all of her hair.
I used the same, left it in for about an hour and a half and rinsed in cold water and it lasted about 2 weeks with washing my hair everyday. You aren't supposed to use hot water the entire time your hair is died, if you do it fades really fast into a gross color
I actually feel motivated to change all of my music genres to "potato", upload using torrents, then wait to see if potato genre makes its way to itunes...
Lol looks like a family bonding experience, your sister watched you then your dad helped with the plastic wrap.
that girl was her neighbor, read the description :)
Yes, it makes the colour more vibrant and it will last longer. The colour will also reach it's full potential, so it will look how the dye does (which is why I now prefer to mix my own).
Looks really pretty
Thank you!
Taryn, why do I find a comment from you on EVERY hair dye video I watch?! ^-^
JuliaHugsSharks If u leave it in for 4 hours does the color last longer?
DaisyPiggy Wiggy no, it'll probably kill your hair
someone said with splat hair dye that the longer u leave it in the more longer it lasts
im so jelly of you. your hair is perf.
Aww thanks!!
Attack attack!! 💘 i love them

C-can i cut my fringe like this? :0
Do it!
JuliaHugsSharks
thank you :3

I'm Dying my hair purple and blue Friday

Lissie Mayo Cute! Im Dying Mine Purple And A Dark-ish Pink

You mean the color or the style?

THIS SONG GAVE ME SO MANY MEMORIES I FUCKING CANT *screaming*
Lonely by Attack Attack
Lusty Lavender by Splat
Look at Adore dyes tho, they're my fav when mixed with conditioner.
Brighter than i expected it to be, but so so beautiful!
I don't know the number of wefts that will be in yours xD
put them on your head and decide where you want to dye the two colours then take the extension off of your head (make sure you remember where you want it split!), put the two different sections on two different on saran wraps, and dye the one side
manic panic and raw color is okay. special effects is the best in my opinion, but you have to order it online. directions is really good as well.
It depends on the brand; you have to read the label. It shouldn't have alcohol, ammonium, or peroxide. And thank you!
Wow. That is some gorgeous hair. You did a great job. I'm putting some of the turquoise color around my face, I hope it turns out as good as yours!
Good luck if you Haven't tired it yet and if you have then um what was the result?
Wow girl, you really have a hell of a lot extensions! The color combination looks epic tho, I love it
Thank you! And if your hair is brown you will have to bleach it blonde or else the colour will only tint your hair. Extensions are not needed. The dyes are in the description but I like to use Adore now.

I love the result in your hair!
You have a good taste in music and you are pretty, Matches well.
I love how helpful everybody was while you were dying your extensions :3 xD
you can also add the color to a touch of shampoo to reduce fading.
add it to conditioner too.
Well I take the Vocational School Program for Cosmetology in my county and it's free knowledge but you have to pay $160 for a kit and $5 for the state board test which gets you your license. I wish I could do that with my hair. Because yours turned out so pretty. Truly gorgeous ♡
1. 4 hours
2. In this video I used Splat in Lusty Lavender, but I recommend using Adore in any colour you please.
Thank you! Yes, my natural color is medium brown. I'm actually dying it that colour today.
Beautiful absolutely gorgeous great job !
i am still obsessed with my blue hair everyday! I am so glad my mom let me do it! :3
Foil reacts badly with some dyes which you have to read about on the label, so I usually play it safe with cling wrap
Thank you! Just don't use shampoo, super hot water, or wash it everyday. conditioner only. not that hard.
I usually leave the hair in the dye for like 40 minutes, but if you want longer lasting results feel free to leave it in for an hour. The cleanest and easiest way of dyeing extensions.
Your hair looks amazing! You look super cute with those colors
I love how it looks and the music in the vid is awesome
I love how the fringe turned out :D
you'll have to be very careful when rinsing your hair the black and blue will bleed into the blonde. try doing the black and blue first until the black dye has fully washed off then the blonde :)
This looks really nice, Wish I had the huts to do mine by myself :) xx
Oh my goodness your hair looks amazing!! I actually really like it short too xx
If you have yellow in your hair, if you put any sort of blue in t it is going to look sort of blueish. You have to have your hair almost white. Use toner.
The black and blue will bleed into the blonde, remember that every hair dye will bleed so think of how it will bleed before dying
dyes: Color Jamz Tripped Up Turquoise ~ Splat Lusty Lavender
But I like adore much better
when i used it this time, it was fine but i just used it again and it is on my hate list along with manic panic.
It looks gorgeous!
love this but may i recommend that you do your extensions straight onto the cellophane wrap as you will get less wastage
Waaaah I'm so jelly! It turned out awesome.
also. tip for the next time you dye your hair extensions (if you dont already know) using foil is a lot more efficient c: you won't end up waisting as much dye
Attack! Attack! is life, one of my favorite songs, you are a gift lul :3
I love the colours, looks amazing
"Scene hairstyle" ; your best bet is to bring a picture in of what you want
I wish my mom would let me do this! Any ideas how i can convince her to let me?
You and your hair are so pretty! I bet it also looks good without extensions :3
It's a really good song! And thank you!
I was at his house when I was dying it and he never leaves me alone when I do anything so he came in and I was like "ok if you're gonna keep coming in and out then you're going to help me"
He finally stopped hating my hair colours haha
It looks amazing. You did such a good job!
I love how it turned out
such a good song, and beautiful hair
I thought he meant for the actual dying of your hair. But shampoo shouldn't be used anyway even if it has colour in it, shampoo makes it fade faster. I just use conditioner and it stays in well.
Use vaseline on your forehead before putting the color in, that way, if you get any color on the skin, it won't stain because of the vaseline.
I don't reccomend any shampoo, cause it makes the colour in your hair fade faster.
I wash my hair every 2 days.
im doing this in summer and im dying something over it for school im so excitedd
The final product is soo pretty!
Wow just wow , fantastic I wish I could do this to my hair
So cute her dad helped her in a part if the video :)
I know, right?!
Thank you and I shal! the dyes are in the description.
The amount of dye you used on one of the big extensions is almost enough for half my head 😹 i have thin hair but A LOT of it, it looks like I have thick hair; But I dye mine quite dark colours like dark purple and black so I guess that's why I don't use as much? Idk lol

I love your hair and the song in the you played
I love how its a misconception that the older sibling dyes their hair first, I am the youngest sibling and i dye my hair every other week, my sister isn't even allowed to dye all of her hair.
Thank you! It's only hair you can change it!
When I'm older I'm doing my hair like this its so cool :D
You are so gorgeous. I'm jealous of your prettiness.
It turned out so good! Awesome turtorial! c:
Everything looks so magical speeded up
I used the same, left it in for about an hour and a half and rinsed in cold water and it lasted about 2 weeks with washing my hair everyday. You aren't supposed to use hot water the entire time your hair is died, if you do it fades really fast into a gross color
i have that same wicker furniture from in the room that you were dying the extensions :3 btw I love those two colors!! it looks really good!
I used one blue and one purple and yes these colours rubbed off on me. And thank you!
If you use cold water it won't bleed as much and will last longer.
I actually feel motivated to change all of my music genres to "potato", upload using torrents, then wait to see if potato genre makes its way to itunes...
You did a awesome job.
looks awesome !
I know Splat's Luscious Raspberries stays in for a REALLY long time. I've bleached my hair and there is still a pinkish tint to that spot.
