finally a blond haired girl who dyes her hair colors. I really needed to know what color I can and was going to dye my hair and I didnt know what looked good, since I've never dyed all my hair before!!
Is the colour underneath even? If it is it's probably just difference in porosity from processing. If you know which areas fade out faster you could try diluting the dye a little less on those sections to see if that makes a difference :)
Maintaining can be a bit of a bitch sometimes, it's not as simple as block colours where you can just have premixed conditioners for use in the shower - but simple stuff really. Not washing your hair too often; every 3/4 days is good (remember you can always use dry shampoo). Try using a shampoo with less sulphate when you shower OR if you're up for it try going 'no poo' (google if interested), and try and rinse your hair with cooler water (heat opens up the cuticle). If your hair's porosity is shitty and the colours rinse out quicker than they should (because of damage) try an apple cider vinegar rinse as it should help seal the cuticle. Then obviously you can keep your premixed hair dyes and go over it pretty easily when required - as long as you don't let it fade out completely you don't need to apply it perfectly every time :) Hope that makes sense/ is helpful xx
I really like this and I think it suites you really well, when I dye mine at the end of the year again I think i'll do an ombre like this, but with pink and blue, do you think it would be hard to do with short hair? I usually only do the one colour
BringBringHELLO Aw your hair sounds lovely, I think you should be able to do it with two colours; maybe just straighten it before you dye it though so you can apply it more accurately :)
Do You think If I Mix more spoons of the directions (like 1 or 2) with the conditioner it would look nice If my hair is bleached but with a product from 'dm' It's a german Shop the german Word is 'Drogerie' (my English isnt that well im sorry) so the blonde will be a little more yellow?
Em Mar yes, adding in more of the directions will make the colour darker which should help go over the yellow-blonde. You could also try using a silver or white toner beforehand, doing this would make your hair a better base for pastel colours :)
How is your hair so healthy even though it's bleached? Everyone else I know who has pastel hair has really dry, damaged hair. Also, how do you style it? I'm assuming you don't use heat. Thanks!
I made a video on bleached hair care recently Looking after Bleached/ Damaged hair Hopefully that will answer your questions! If you have any more comment on that video and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. Just started drama school so I'm really busy at the moment! I did use heat to curl my hair but I only use heat on occasion xxx
will it be permanent if we colour our hair with pastels ? please reply i realy want to know .... because i'm in university .... my parents in hawaii .. i want to colour my hair like yours
No hun, these are semi permanent dyes so they'll only last a certain amount of time depending on your hair care routine. Going over the hair with more dye is easy enough if you don't let it fade out completely before you redye.
You can use this method with any coloured dyes you want and you don't have to dilute them; it can be as dark as you want it. I use vegetable based dyes which are semi permanent so it's only temporary - coloured dyes will always fade whether they're permanent or not, these dyes are essentially a conditioning stain and do no damage to your hair so if you can lighten your hair enough to take them it's a much better option xx
The song throughout the video was just some royalty free one I got off the YT creator studio. Unless you mean at the end? THAT'S WHY ME AND KG ARE CLASSICALLY TRAINED TO ROCK YOUR FUCKIN' SOCKS OFF. Tenacious D - Rock your socks off hahaha
I think I left it on for 1 and a half/ 2 hours this time. It really doesn't matter how long you leave it on for, remember the dyes aren't damaging so you can leave it on for days if you want!
Iam speechless at the beauty of your hair !! I'm trying to dye a synthetic wig in the colours you have here!!

Does it have to be any specific conditioner?
Sorry, I don't really understand "english pronunciation".
But what natural products do you use ?
What do you put to lighten the color ?
Thanks.
miku
she use conditoiner to light the color
I want to do my hair exactly like this! But how did you keep up with it?

Thanks sweet, and that sounds nice! How short is your hair?
at the moment it's just above my shoulders but it's super curly so becomes a bit shorter
BringBringHELLO Aw your hair sounds lovely, I think you should be able to do it with two colours; maybe just straighten it before you dye it though so you can apply it more accurately :)
I will try that :) thanks for your help

Rachael Elizabeth qual nome da tinta ?
The dye? La Riche Directions: www.lariche.co.uk/
Sorry if that's not what you meant I'm not very good with other languages xx
Do you use conditioner or developer to lighten a color?? Is developer damaging to hair?
Use conditioner but it will only work with semi permanent vegetable based dyes ☺
will it be permanent if we colour our hair with pastels ? please reply i realy want to know .... because i'm in university .... my parents in hawaii .. i want to colour my hair like yours

I have dark hair and I really want these colors. How many times do you think I would have to dye it before it becomes a really light shade of blond?
I have black brown hair and depending on what bleach I use, I usually bleach my hair only once or twice.
What is the name of bleach you use?
L'Oreal Quick Blue Powder+ Clairol Soy4Plex cream developer (I get these at Sally's)
How many time did you bleach your roots to get them white? Or did u use a toner?
I bleach my roots once and tone them, I think I'll be doing a roots bleaching tutorial soon xx
Rachael Elizabeth Oh okay! cool I'm looking forward to it your hair looks great!
Where did you get da hair dye??
You can get La riche directions in most alternative shops in the UK, but I think I bought mine off Ebay :)
Is there any colour that can be darker ?
You can use this method with any coloured dyes you want and you don't have to dilute them; it can be as dark as you want it. Ohh okay , So we cant use too many conditioner ? Well thanks , I really like your hair and when u dye it is really beautiful ^.^
That song.... I can't place it.... From who is it? hahaha
At the end, with the socks hahaha
How long did you leave it on?
I think I left it on for 1 and a half/ 2 hours this time. It really doesn't matter how long you leave it on for, remember the dyes aren't damaging so you can leave it on for days if you want!
okay thank you :)
Fantastic and very thorough, thank you! *u* I am doing these same shades, but reversed, hehe.
