Amazing build! Very sleek design! The symetry problem with the shield could be resolve by switching to a slim docker (flipped under) from Deimos, but then it wouldn't be an all-Taiyo ship.
Yeah, placing that shield kinda killed me, and there are solutions, but not without drastic measures - redesigning the whole ship, using non-taiyo parts, or not using the dang shield at all 😆 Glad you liked the build, though, and thanks for your comment!
You need lvl 60 to have access to all pieces (plus having completed certain quests, like the one with Walter in Neon). That's a neat ship, some people say it always looks the same with using Taiyo parts, but you kinda debunked that here, congrats!
Love the ideas, and I am a fan of more rounded and single level looks. Only things I’d “ criticize” are those 2 big sloped monstrosities that do not match the aesthetic and…. The title of the “ best ship” you can build there lol. Nice vid and work though bud
Been building Taiyo ships with my own "one manufacturer brand only challenge" and it's been quite difficult for me. Also the 2x3 slope cap can't be recolored for some reason. Pretty annoying.
I find Taiyo's cockpits too hilarious. They brag about luxury, yet their cockpits are so barebones and lacking. Also the only manufacturer without a bridge. Their different habs (top, mid, bottom) is a nice niche.
That's awesome. I do like Taiyo structural parts, so this gives me great ideas for my next class c build.
That's great! Glad I could help!

The taiyo vendor is the most hot chick in the game
She is almost a carbon copy of Andreja, the Constellation companion, but with a nicer voice and cheerful personnality.
@@Rangersly hmm yeah. And bigger eyes and younger complexion

Fair points, maybe it should've been called the best ship 'I' could build 😆.

Yeah, not being able to color that piece really surprised me, too - seems like a weird oversight.
thats nice. i feel like the game should provide some export and import function for builds so ppl could share their spaceships.
That would be an awesome feature for sure, but it's probably not in the cards.
If BGS makes an Fallout 76-style online version of Starfield, the import-export ship function would be useful.
I can't help but think that the Taiyo Habs were sapposed to look more like Cockpit

Anyone know how to get that Dawnbreaker???
That's my own custom ship that I made for my playthrough. It's pretty much mostly Deimos parts, with a bit of other stuff thrown in.
Yeah man that hella sick. Who doesn't want that Cabot cockpit???
@@reallybighat In my play through ... did you grab an Ecliptic Claymore and then modify it to be Dawnbreaker??
Nope, I built it from scratch! I was trying to build something with a cool 'battleship' aesthetic, and that's what I ended up with.@@TheDamageinc81
Or you could flip the docker to the bottom 🤔
That would be a pretty elegant solution for sure!
