Welcome to ReallyBigHat! Here, I'm going to make a variety of videos, mainly focusing on gaming, but occasionally branching out into other topics. I've always appreciated being able to kick back and binge videos on UA-cam, and sometimes it helps me find the energy to make it through the day. And so, my main goal for this channel is to pass that feeling on to others as best I can. So I sincerely hope you find something you like here, and that it makes your day a little better!
I Tried MW3 While Waiting for Black Ops 6 to Launch, Here Are My Thoughts.
In this video, I muse on how my experience with Modern Warfare 3 has been after only playing for a few days. I only picked the game up because it's free on Game Pass and I wanted to try it out while waiting for Black Ops 6 to fully release after the Beta.

Will I be able to win with only Pikachu, or will some of my other Pokémon finally get a chance to shine? All the Pokémon I use in this series are caught in Pokémon Crystal Clear Version.

Baldur's Gate 3 With an Overpowered Party Episode 1
Im currently playing a custom lineage battle master fighter, in CoS i Started with heavy armor master, then i am sincerely debating if i want to take barb levels after level 5 fighter then i can get bearbarian and the 3 damage reduction. My only issue is the module caps at lvl 10 so would i be better off multiclassing? Or just going more fighter? Im probably gonna multi class tbh but who knows.
It's build dependent and up to preference. One thing though, is if you're wearing heavy armor you can't rage, so it's not usually worth it to multi class barb if you've gone heavy armor master.
very very veeery nice video, love your content, keep going!!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
I asked ChatGPT how to upgrade my ship and it linked to your video. Interesting
That is interesting; I didn't know that could even happen. I'm obviously not a very big creator, so linking to one of my videos specifically is kind of wild. I hope my video was helpful at least!
ive really been enjoying playing this deck with my friend group. Really love the focus on stealing exclusively from the deck or graveyard, Much less salt and more variety of gameplay. I slotted in inspiring sanctuary and thats felt pretty amazing with getting to reuse all the treasures you create.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it; it's been a favorite of mine for a while and I'm glad I could share it!
How did you get the Aulmet Coin
Basement of the goldenrod department store
@reallybighat which floor is on
Absolutely giving this deck a shot. Was looking to build my own around Kwain but im limited to BLB, OTJ, LCI, and WOE currently. I might be tempted to snag the needed cards im missing for this cause it looks like a great alternate to the official group hug precon.
Glad you liked it; The great thing about being designed at 'precon' level is that it's easy to find upgrades - whatever lifegain/pillow fort/group hug cards you have lying around are usually going to be just as good if not better than what the deck currently runs. So in all likelihood if you have to make someone substitutions you'll probably be improving the deck instead of 'missing' something 😄
I am making this build for a gestalt campaign, and I have looked at a lot of barb, rogue, and barb/rogue multiclass vids for inspo. This is the first one that chose phantom as its sub though! I went pretty much exactly how you did, only I went two weapon fighting instead of sword and board ^^
Glad you liked it, good luck with your campaign!
I don't remember mw3 having bow and arrow
I've only been playing for a few days so I don't know how long it's been in the game, but I did have to unlock it first.
Man, i love the usp
Love tomahawks
You need lvl 60 to have access to all pieces (plus having completed certain quests, like the one with Walter in Neon). That's a neat ship, some people say it always looks the same with using Taiyo parts, but you kinda debunked that here, congrats!
Man I gotta try that lol
Now to wait until Friday to play again...
Pistols are always so fun in the beginning
Time for an update with the new changes. Great build btw. I'm going to make a build using this own as a draft. I think I'm going to go with umbral human though
I haven't kept up with the new stuff to know what's changed, my campaign is still using the old stuff and I don't think we're going to update until the campaign ends. I'll certainly keep in mind that I may need to make new versions of all of these builds soon, though!
@@reallybighat fair enough 👌
That’s beautifully said, and after finding this video 2 years ago, I finally have a chance to play this build in a year long campaign! I admire your skill in communicating. This video put me in the mood, like I used to be. Salute for making what means allot to me
You just absolutely made my day! The best I could ever hope for from my videos is to make someone happy, so I'm over the moon that you liked it! Good luck with your campaign, I wish you the absolute best!
Thanks, that’s a boost. Alright, so I’m here wondering, why is a rapier our best bet? What else is feasible when determining our weapon of choice and what we do in close combat? What’s our best stat here, dexterity? What’s the importance of that stat over strength? My 2nd line of inquiry goes as follows: Bugbears are gonna be entertaining to describe. I’ll enjoy telling my friends about its appearance. But let’s say what’s our best alternative race, Dwarf or Hexblood? What do you make of this? I appreciate your time responding to my questions. Best wishes, Cheers
@@memaximoron A rapier is our best weapon because it's the highest damage finesse weapon. If you got your hands on, say, a flametounge scimitar or something similar, that would be way better, but as far as mundane weapons go, a rapier is just the strongest finesse weapon, and we need finesse to activate sneak attack. Strength is our attacking stat, since we can still sneak attack using strength (as long as we have a finesse weapon, which allows for str or dex to be used). But we do want good Dex as well for AC and initiative, as well as the skills it buffs, such as stealth. So really both should be high, and you can choose which one to favor based on preference. As far as race, I went with Bugbear for the stealth and damage boosts, as it fit the version of this character I was going for in this particular build. The thing is, any race can be made to work with any build, but if we're going for the most flavorful and efficient ones for this, other than Bugbear, I'd say either a Fallen or Scourge Aasimar could be cool, as they both have the ability to pour on extra damage as well. I was personally focused on the damage output and versatility of this character as the two guiding pillars for how I built it, but of course there are several other ways you could go. Hopefully that answers your questions, and feel free to ask about anything else!
What would you change if you were to adapt the classic Fighter /Mage/Thief 2E multiclass. Thank you and great build!
Unfortunately I've only played 5th Edition - I know, makes me a noob, sorry.
Or you could flip the docker to the bottom 🤔
That would be a pretty elegant solution for sure!
hey i know this video is old, but i haven't seen anybody blatantly say this one way or the other, does raging stop using ki? its not a spell, doesn't even get stopped by anti field, and rage says it only stops spells, but it does feel weird but its kinda grey?
So far as I'm aware, it shouldn't stop it. Ki effects may be magical depending on interpretation, but raging doesn't technically stop magic; it prevents you from concentrating on a spell. For example, you can cast mirror image before raging and the spell won't end, as it's non-concentration. So I seriously doubt it would affect ki abilities, except for four-elements or shadow monk's features to cast spells with ki, such as burning hands or silence.
Awesome can't wait for more How many pokemon you planned on when you narrowed it down to these 6?
I had a short list of Pokemon I was considering past the ones I used: Gastly and Abra, of course, as well as Onix. After that, to theorize: Maybe an electric type like Elekid or Chinchou. Pretty much any of the starters, too - Squirtle or Bulbasaur would be good here. Kabuto instead of Omanyte would also work fine. Koffing or Grimer would be next on the list, and after those, it'd be Pokemon like Growlithe or Meowth. There really are a lot of Pokemon that are solid choices for the Little Cup! 😉
How long would it take to beat crystal clear In order to train
With an emulator with a speedup function, you could get to where you can train for competitive in about a day; maybe 6 hours of playtime. Of course, the game has a lot of content you'd be missing out on that way. 😉
ua-cam.com/video/UrZ4-bhOtIs/v-deo.htmlsi=mUOYTfCpxADOzqD6 Here's a video where I go through my loop of competitive training from start to finish. It's not all-inclusive of every detail, but it's a good place to start.
Awesome that your showing the pokemon you use. Hope to see your full roster of pokemon at the end of all the ones you used and ones you haven't, that you build for this. Hope you at some point use more that the high-end competitive pokemon.
Thanks! I certainly intend to reveal more pokemon as I go on, and I do have different ones prepared for other game modes.
@reallybighat awesome can't wait. I will wanna set up my own teams in the future when I get time through Crystal clear. That's a fun game. I will say Crystal legacy is a great game too just won't sync up to stadium 2. Which is fine.
Great Vídeo! Simple Easy Build.
Glad you like it!
Hey, welcome back
Thanks! It's good to be back!
Also a brig be nice too
No ladders if not said already, or if impossible ladders in a area that seems logical instead of in the way
If taking requests i have yet to find someone who has made this type yet and if so please send link. I want to see a ship thats a five man crew including yourself with cap quarters, crew quarters, a mess hall/lounge, med hab, workshop hab, crew station or battle station, engineering room and cargo hab. Basically a fully functional ship built to truly survive out on the fringes when you dont have settlements near by. Some of us aren’t jumping back and forth to cities sometimes like to immerse myself and role play a bit so if you or anyone someone has seen has made a ship of this caliber please let me know cause i have yet to find. An if you can make it look cool instead of some chunky big box that be greatly appreciated too hahaha
Sneak attack is once per turn
Nice channel, nice guy. I'll watch him again, definitely.
Another fun combo (but maybe not as optimal) is Ancestral Guardian + ranged Rogue. You give your frontline basically the Dodge Action as the enemy you hit has disadvantage against anyone but you plus your allies have resistance against damage from attacks. Take Scout Rogue to be more nimble and to keep your distance from approaching enemies. Bad part about this is you cant add rage damage bonus and cant use Reckless Attack.
Why booming blade over green flame blade?
Currently playing hex blade warlock 2 and clockwork sorcerer 7. Wondering whether I should tough it out to sorcerer 18 or something else, your vid has convinced me to take fighter 2! Thanks!
Glad to be of service, enjoy your character!
Always liked Multiattack: Volley. Imagine if you had the Piercer Feat and 3 levels into Champion Fighter so crit range is 19-20. Bullet Rain.
Absolutely, volley is just pure fun. Gotta love when they actually let martials do something cool lol
If it were an even split, I would've gone: Half-Elf (Wood Elf: Mask of the Wild) 5 Eldritch Knight Fighter 5 Arcane Trickster Rogue 5 Evocation Wizard 5 Order Cleric Making a 13th-level caster. Point Buy STR: 8 (0) DEX: 15 (9) --> 16 (+1) CON: 12 (4) --> 14 (+2) INT: 15 (9) --> 16 (+1) WIS: 13 (5) CHA: 8 (0) I've personally gone with Point Buy to make games go a bit faster in character creation. I actually prefer rolling but if not done publicly, they don't count. Feats: Cartomancer and Medium Armor Master, & 2 ASI for 20 INT. One key aspect is combining Evocation & Order, commanding your allies at the same time as you deal damage from an Evocation Spell, and a tactical glance would reveal which one of your allies would make use of an attack. You'd don Medium Armor & a Holy Symbol Shield, & Sword when needed, otherwise you'd keep your sword hand free for Spellcasting. As a commander, a team combo would be to use Feather Fall. On an allies turn, have them hop, then you reaction cast Feather Fall and then they can make an additional weapon attack. On the Martial Side, despite being third-casters, you still are base Fighter & Rogue. You can BA: Disengage, Hide, Dash or bring forth your Bond Weapon. With Mask of the Wild, you can hide is light obscurement from natural phenomenon and with Medium Armor Master, you can do this with Half-Plate without a Disadvantage. A fighting style would be Defense. 21 AC. You can still put up a mean fight, which would work well with Cartomancer. Using a Bonus Action and cast a Spell up to your Spell Slot Level and it's 7th level. Use it on an Evocation and you'll still Sculpt Spells, like Prismatic Spray. OR Tenser's Transformation like an anime Magical Girl Transformation and attack, dealing an additional 2d12 Force Damage on hit (& auto Sneak Attack with a Finesse Weapon)
Love your take on this - and I think my favorite part about this kind of build is how flexible it is; every player at the table could run this and still have vastly different characters!
@@reallybighat They all got great options~ I debated whether a character could go all SRD subclass but that's where I remembered Evocation Wizard. My favorite Cleric is Order and then it spiraled from there.
@@xiongray This was one of my favorite builds, glad you enjoyed it!
Taking level 1 as fighter, gives a great boost at AC throughought the life of the character, not to mention proficiency in con saves like concentration.
It's rarely an outright bad idea to dip fighter, you could make an argument that every character should take a level or two for the armor/weapon proficiency and action surge.
what Pc did you get?
Oh, it's a prebuilt gaming PC from Best Buy. I brought my brother who is far more knowledgeable on such things, and he picked one out for my needs.
Yoh bro you alive
Yep, just had a new job that prevented me from being able to upload for quite some time, but I should be back to uploading soon! Thanks though!
All my deimos ships end up looking like bugs😭😭😂
They absolutely have a certain look to them, that's for sure.
If you go with the winged tiefling you can fly in medium armor.
Yeah, it's always a powerful choice for a ranged combatant!
For my Tabaxi Barb/Phantom Rogue, we worked in the concept of the Barbarian aspect being a sort of parasite due to a Cursed Weapon, this helps in balancing out theoretically always landing Sneak Attacks boosted by Necrotic Damage, while still keeping an insane degree of movement offered by Feline Agility and Dash combos
I like it, the roleplay and the overall theming of the character is honestly one of the harder things to get right with this class combination!
Shadow fairy isn't lore breaking if, instead of ancestry, the sorcerer lvl comes from an extreme or traumatic event that happens at the transition from second to third level. You should let your DM know ahead of time that you plan to multiclass, so incorporating it as a plot point shouldn't be a problem.
Yeah, there's always a way to properly roleplay and convey those kinds of things, but it's not what I really focus on when making builds - I usually start from a mechanical perspective and work backwards from there, so I don't always properly go into things like the theming or the lore that may be associated with certain builds. But that makes it very helpful for others to help out with comments, so thanks for sharing!
I made an alternate version, wood elf ranger 5, twilight cleric 1, scout rogue 4, arcane archer 4, twilight cleric 3 more, scout rogue last 3. You get 4 ASI but I prefer elven accuracy, sharpshooter, piercer, and lucky.
Yeah, can't really go wrong with a spread like that, especially the combo of lucky and elven accuracy!
playing this build myself and did alot of optimising. i would offer a few changes depending on priority. 5ranger => 3(4) Rouge => 3(4) Fighter => 1 Level clerik optional => rest rouge. the assassion feature is stronger than action surge if you have more than 1 encounter per short rest. the advantage on 3 attacks does more dmg over 2 fights than action surging the first turn once. this does not take into account the option to surprise the enemy ( because it rarely happens ) but then that auto crit is doing outstanding dmg that you cannot compare. also the cunning action and sneak attack dmg that is applied every round is very important and stronger than battle master meneuvers. also: if you have optional class feature you can pick up another superiority die as fighting style instead of armor, which is really fitting
Very true. It's important to properly consider the type of campaign you're in, as well as how important certain features are going to be when building a character. For my part, these builds are more generalized and focus more on a balance of features that can apply broadly rather than fully optimizing. For example, I like including battlemaster maneuvers just to have them available; even if they aren't usually going to be your go-to move, there's a good chance that you're going to want them occasionally - if not for damage, then for utility. But, importantly, it's all campaign dependent - what works in one game might not work in another, so you're always going to need to adjust builds you find on the internet to suit your specific needs.
they changed up the monk class with unearthed arcana 8. I am wondering how these affect this multiclass. I want to start with monk then go into barbarian with Goliath cause natural athlete +2 to strength so even a base 13 gets +2 to 15. Any idea?
Honestly, not much really changes from a character building standpoint, but in practice, all the buffs to monk make this build significantly more powerful. The big one is the feature that allows you to recharge your ki points and gain some HP once per long rest when entering combat. If the long death monk subclass survives unchanged and can work with that feature, then once it hits level 11 and can spend a ki point to just not die - you see where I'm going with this; it'll make you unbelievably tanky. Other than that, being able to upgrade your flurry of blows to 3 hits is also very cool, and in general, the monk is just plain better, so any build with monk levels is better too.
Buuu, the bugbear of MotM shouldn't be legal, you could make a warlock (not even sorlock) with it + Alert and the eldritch blast would destroy the first creature it mets, it's ridiculously unbalanced
i never thought about the shield in hand being a problem to cast warlock spells. Nice that you pointed it out. But Booming blade should still be castable, because the material components itself are the sword, and the free hand is needed to access the components, but the same hand can count make the somatic components: "A spellcaster must have a hand free to access a spell's material components -- or to hold a spellcasting focus -- but it can be the same hand that he or she uses to perform somatic components."
Yeah, anything where the weapon itself is the material component would bypass needing a free hand. Heck, in a way, the somatic component of booming blade is the melee attack itself!
@@reallybighat yes. The weapon
HexBlade 3, BladePact, Improved Pact Weapon allows you to summon a weapon out of thin air that you can use as a spell focus for all of your Warlock and Sword Bard spells. Armor of shadows also if you want to be able to have armor/weapon/spells that you can use even if all your stuff is taken and you're thrown in prison. Witherbloom Background/Feat to get a free cast of Goodberry for all your food needs and some healing spells.
Nice, love the synergy there!
Improved pact weapon is only a focus for warlock spells
@@jacobs.7205 rules as written, you are incorrect.
