Dr Grip is such a great pencil (or pen!) for those of us who need a little extra cushion on our pencils. There are even versions you can customize with colored beads to really make it personal!
I highly recommend the zebra delguard GR! It’s basically a dr grip with a fancy mechanism to help lead breakage! This pencil atm is only available in .5. I highly recommend it if your looking for a pencil in .5 that has a better grip! They sell other pencils too with different grips as well. I love the delguard. The mechanism is great. Only has lead breakage after 3 clicks of lead extended.
Could it be use to drawing? I'm concern about delguard mechanism, yes it is anti lead breakage but the mechanism itself would it work into drawing?? I'm a sketch guy do you think this pencil will work on me?
Eniel Obejo sorry for the late reply! I use it for drawing. I also use the kurutoga with rotates the lead for a consistently sharp point. I like both. I recommend both too!
Pilot Dr. Grip! I’ve bee eyeing this pencil for a while. One of my favourite artists, the late Shoko Ikeda, a Character Designer and Animation Director at Kyoto Animation used this pencil; 0.3 mm, the blue version. There’s a video of her drawing the Sound! Euphonium characters with it. Also, everyone just seems to agree how comfortable it is to draw with.
@@imanamane8603 Yup! The “G-Spec Shaker” variant to be precise. This is a very popular pencil among mangaka. Hideaki Soraichi (Gintama), Tite Kubo, Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto) and Eiichiro Oda (One Piece) have used these at times. (Usually the matte black or the white variants). The main reason would be the comfortableness of it. Mangaka’s are drawing over 10 hours a day on the average after all.
@@nl4537 I'm on my way buying this online ,but unfortunately my favourite ,Black Matte were out of stock, so, I'll just buy the blue one instead since it's the only one that in stock while others aren't.*sigh* well at least you get to try it soon ! XD ✨ and thanks for the info! ✨
