I was gonna say!! I think corset backs are sooo good. You never know how much your weight will fluctuate before your wedding and I feel like a lace up will be more forgiving
Honestly, I don't understand why she wouldn't just get it altered right away, or better yet just get a size that fit in the first place. No one will know the size but you, and a dress that fits properly will be MUCH more flattering than a dress you can barely fit into..... and you will be more comfortable too, which is a huge bonus considering you'll be wearing it for a while.....
It's because SHE knows what size her dress is. Its a confidence issue of some sort that plays in her mind that if she doesn't fit into a certain size, she won't be happy (the psychotherapist explained it at 5:10).
She bought the size that she fit in in the store so she thought it would fit when she got it at home. The one she tried that fit was stretched out so hats why it didn’t fit when she got it.
I know someone who did it because they didn't have that much money and got a dress that was heavily discounted but about 1 or 2 sizes to small. Sewing in a bit of fancy lace trim and a corset back was what did the trick in the end and she even had a friend who could do it for her.
Sis ur thinking way to deep, all she's doing is trying to fit into a dress because she doesn't wanna spend 3000+ on a dress. She's not anorexic all she's doing is trying to do is fit into a dress
looks like you got offended! it’s gonna be HER wedding day, to make HER feel good.. if she needs to loose a tiny bit of weight to fit into HER wedding dress... let HER make her own decision :)
The end message is literally her saying she should’ve had the dress fit her instead of trying to lose weight to fit the dress??? Did you watch the video or just post your opinion after seeing the title?
Enchanted Slythern Yeah, just buy it a size bigger in advance and get it altered shortly before the wedding so you probably won't change much til the wedding then. No way I would put so much pressure on me for that one day and that one dress. Clothing has to fit you, not the other way around
All I could think of while watching this was (a) first plan of action should have been to see if it could be let out and (b) OMG!! She’s ruining that dress rolling around on the floor!!
this same thing happened to me with my prom, which was five years ago. i became obsessed with my weight so that i could fit into the dress of my dreams. 6 months later, i'd lost almost 100 lbs and had realized that i'd developed a very severe eating disorder. i was extremely unhappy during prom night. aspiring to be "beautiful" for one night led me to intensely battling an ed for years, causing me to lose years of my life that i should've spent focusing on things that would positively impact me. as someone who never imagined i'd be in recovery from an ed brought on by something so stupid such as a prom dress: don't let weight determine your happiness, because you'll never be happy with yourself if all you focus on is your 'goal weight'. focus on your happiness, which is a mix of emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. love yourself, because you absolutely deserve it!

I knew this, and didn't care if the number was higher. NO ONE cares what the wedding dress size is. The only people who do is the wedding industry. Never tell anyone to lose weight, especially someone who would die doing it. There is nothing like life's milestones to make a woman feel awful, even as something as joyful as a wedding.
How she is just letting her dog walk on her dress and how she's just wearing in around the house. MAKES ME CRING!!! I wouldn't even do that with my prom/homecoming dresses in high school.

You wanted to fit but failed to realize, hey, my ribs are right there not down near the floor) 6. FINALLY goes back to the damn alteration and gets her dress fixed. Girl you could’ve saved time and money by getting that dress fixed or returning and ordering a new size/sell it and go get a new one as a fast fix. 😪
Sen Sen yeah but would that make a video people would watch? lmao no buzzfeed video makes sense anymore they just exaggerate everyday situations, talk to a couple people with degrees and phds to make it a video
Sen Sen she said she went back again to get it fixed but they are both wearing the same clothes. So basically she just went to get the dress fixed and faked the rest of the video to make it an "interesting" video.
Sen Sen I believe she didn’t sell it because she really liked that dress. But yeah I do think she should’ve just gone and changed the dress in the first place anyways
Or she could've fixed it from the get-go. But I think that the journey she went through was needed for her. She learned a very valuable lesson and she probably came out on top. 😁
maeflower522 lol its not a rule. But more of a tradition/superstition that it would doom the marriage itself if the groom sees you in it before the wedding ceremony.

"I just need to go on a diet." You're not fat. Just because a dress is too small, doesn't necessarily mean that you need to lose weight. Especially if you have a healthy BMI. Getting it tailored is your best option and usually is a lot quicker than doing all of this other nonsense she did.
Cut out the zipper and make it a corset. Problem solved. That's how I got into my prom dress that could be zipped, but made me light headed how tight it was.
cotton candy randy I’m not talking about the color, maybe I’m a freak, but I was afraid to even let it touch any surface, or maybe that happens when you pay $1000 for a dress 🤔
nyc anna ok rich lady lol 1k for a dress is a lot! Just because the culture made us think it’s ok to blow thousands on a wedding it doesn’t mean it’s normal. A lot of people around the world live a whole month with less than that.
It's Gray so dirt won't show on it as much as a white dress and the dress itself looks simple but elegant so I don't think it's as much as a thousand dollars
That's a beautiful dress! But when I saw where it wouldn't close, my first thought was, "Yeesh, you are going to need to remove a rib for that to close." Glad we reached the same conclusion!
I refuse to even pass 0:40 for one reason and one reason only. CLOTHES WERE MADE TO FIT HUMAN BEINGS AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!!! #bzzfeed really missed the mark with this one, I can tell because you don't need a whole 10 mins video just to realize all the dress needs is an alteration. Nope, not watching any further.
She was already slim, many people don’t carry weight around their ribs anyway - I don’t really carry weight around my ribs, so even when I gained 30+ pounds I only went up one band size and the measurement was one inch up. This woman’s already quite slim, so there’s probably not much to lose anyway.
Depending on the fabric that the bodice is comprised of, you may or may not be able to add a corset back, even with stabiliser. From what the seamstress was able to do, it would appear that a major alteration like corseting would be possible. If seams were reworked without visible damage to the fabric, removing a zip or adding corseting/trim would not ruin the dress. The look may not have been to the bride's taste and this was most likely discussed x
This bride: My dress is super expensive. Also this bride: Lays flat out in bed with a dog walking around her/practically on her. Also this bride: Collapses on the floor trying to wrestle with the zip on the back. Also this bride: I bought my expensive dress in a size so small that I'd need to remove a rib or so to fit into it. First of all, I can't imagine not being able to tell when wearing the dress that it needs me to lose an impossible amount of weight/completely change my body structure to fit into it. Second of all, I can't imagine BUYING a dress, let alone an EXPENSIVE dress, that too for my WEDDING, that doesn't fit like a glove when I wear it. I would rather buy the dress that fits great and if I want to lose weight, I will (then I can get the dress altered if needed).
Actually at the very end of the video she realises that she shouldn't have tried to fit into the dress, but she should have make the dress fit her. So she says that it's not good to be like that
usually people schedule a series of alterations every month up to the wedding right after purchasing the dress. That's probably what should have happened from the start. And having worked in the industry, YES it's completely normal to buy a larger size than you expected to have coming in the store. Almost EVERYONE does!
Man I wish I was 137lbs that would be so great 😂 Edit: I don't think people realise that 137lbs will look different on people of all different heights. 137lbs will look different on someone 4"10 then it would on someone who is 5"9
AbandonedPlaces KidExplorer oh I know, im in the process of losing some weight and becoming healthier. I just wish I was smaller is all, I am glad you recovered :)
it was because she said she went back again to get it fixed but they are both wearing the same clothes. So basically she just got the dress fixed and acted out the rest of it
I know that the intention behind this wasn’t a bad one, but this is extremely triggering for me, and probably some others, as I’ve struggled with my weight and body image. I can’t even imagine what it would be like in recovery from an ed, or something similar. This is upsetting to say the least, and almost gave me a panic attack. Please put a trigger warning on future videos, or consider the effect they might have on people before deciding to produce.
Tailors exist. Why are you feeding into this frenzy, that people need to be a “perfect” size for them to look good on their wedding day. As someone who struggles with their weight, I knew this was going to be very hard for me to watch, and although I’m glad that you used a tailor in the end, this video was kind of unnecessary.
@Lucy Blue You can add a corset back to dresses that are too small to make them larger. There is a store that rents dresses in my area, and they do it all the time.
You can’t just “give yourself an eating disorder” it’s not just not eating or something, it’s psychological. As someone with anorexia I can tell you it wasn’t videos or situations like this that caused it. At all.
Emily Melendez bruh i know girls can start viewing themselves obsessively like that and then it starts this never ending goal. I have a bulimic and anorexic friend who's been hospitized 3 times because of "swim suit goal". She bought a small swim suit and could fit it and became obsessed. Kept going lower down sizes
I’m glad a video like this was made. It shows future brides not to get crazy. Not to order sizes too small. Not to get your body to fit a dress. Not to rely on external outcomes for happiness & to enjoy your wedding because youre marrying hopefully the love of your life. Not cuz you looked pretty.
I definitely agree. I feel like a video like this is really triggering for people who struggle with weight issues. Especially showing her using things like Gas X can send a bad message to people who think they need to be a certain size and how they must suffer for that size at all costs.
Remember: you aren’t unattractive you just aren’t your own type. There’s some one out there who not only are you their type , but you’re their ideal partner.
Don't place all your self worth in your appearance. Marriages based only on how physically attractive you find your partner don't last and aren't healthy. You want somebody who loves your personality, and your looks are just the cherry on top.
Lol cause men can totally look like fat slobs and neither they nor anyone else will care....yeah...no. A lot of us hold ourselves to standards, even if society isn’t as loud and vocal about what men ‘should’ look like. We put a lot of silent pressure on ourselves just like society does on women and to some extent men.
Not a double standard. Women dont have to go through this, they choose to. Wedding dresses are expensive so i understand why she wouldve wanted to make the dress work if she accidentally got the wrong size
Bought my prom dress 6 months before prom, gained 14 pounds during exams (a lot of stress eating), tried to train it off in 3 weeks, ate almost nothing, didn't lose much weight cause it stressed me so much that my body said no. Had to wear spanx from head to toe, no bra, could barely be zipped up. Broke the zipper later when I went to the loo. Never again such a dress, they don't forgive you gaining a pound. Now I've got a flowy dress, way more comfortable, always fits, perfect for any wedding etc. Wish I had done this in the first place.
A lot of these comments are "you should have fixed it to begin with" but from the standpoint of personal experience I totally get this- to me it's more about the mental pressures women deal with to be perfect, and often that is depicted as "the perfect size" or "the perfect weight". I had my dress ordered in the right size and taken in to fit correctly and that still didn't stop me from the bridal brain mental breakdown of wanting to look a certain way or be skinny enough or pretty enough on my wedding day. I'm getting married in 2 months and this video helped me feel more sane because I know i'm not alone...thank you for sharing!
I bought a dress that was two inches too small on my waist. I had a year to fit into it. I thought maybe 7 - 10 lbs would do it.....nope. I ended up having to lose 28lbs to fit into it. Best thing I ever did because I was, and still am, over weight. Now I'm just less over weight!
Ashley Caballero Lol what do you mean ? That is probably the smartest thing you could do here. On the day you will be drained of energy from the diets and stress, unhappy and only half-way fitting into the dress..imagine how the pictures are gonna come out. Plus it would be a draining memory in the future. Edit: at the end she did say that compared to all the money she spent on loosing weight, exercise and other tid bits were more than getting it fixed.
I really don't think she was feeding the "be the perfect size" idea. She said she got the size she tried on bc it fit her, she didn't thought that the sample would be stretched out. She just made that mistake and found herself in the position of paying extra for the dress to fit her or, what she thought was the simpler option, get fit herself and fit into the dress. And then the video says how she spiralled out of control and of course is going to problematic places bc it is a complicated topic. But she understood at the end, she wasn't the problem and had her dress fixed.
I bought my wedding dress at a thrift store because I thought it was beautiful but it was way too small so I revamped it and added a lot of elastic and extra material lol
I get the point of this video....I think. But I'm questioning if you really liked this dress. Why? Because the rolling around on the floor and being very rough, when attempting to remove it don't scream "I'm a bride who absolutely loves my dress".
mrsfruity76 Some people have different reactions to things they love....some want to have it locked away and absolutely protected until their big day while others want to wear it all the time and roll around it, don't try and invalidate her love for her dress only because you would have acted differently.
I relate to this so much!! The dream dress (with the most beautiful silver embroidery) I wanted was $250 out of my price range, but it was on the list of dresses being discontinued so the sample dress was available for purchase at a discount($300 off to be exact)!! It was barely too small when I tried it on and we decided that trying to lose weight for it to zip all the way was unrealistic. My dress unfortunately didn’t have any extra fabric so they would potentially have to ruin the embroidery to add panels. We decided that wasn’t what we were going to do. We decided to ditch the zipper and create and beautiful lace up with some beautiful silver fabric that matched the texture of the dress and shade of the embroidery. It turned out beautiful, but the month before our wedding I got sick, lost weight and then the day of the wedding the lace up was pulled as tight as it could go and wasn’t as pretty!! 🤦🏼♀️ We were pretty sure it would of zipped all the way if it still had the zipper... to this day thinking about this puts the song “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette in my head!!
You could of had a corset back put in on the top part of the back of the dress or folded down the part that wouldn’t zip so it would be a v shaped back
That dress was gorgeous ! Glad it fit in the end. Ladies as a person that works in the fashion industry stop looking at the size labels !!! I dont care if ur an xs or xxxlarge get the size that suits your body no matter what the clothing is , you will look great ! Nobody cares what size ur wearing :)
Hopefully, more people will see this wonderful comment :-). Because you're right.....whether the label says size 2 or size 20, how you feel in the clothing is really all that matters.
i hate when i hear girls saying ohh i cant wear this or that because of my arms or my belly or x and y reason. I've seen plus size girls wear killer form fitting dresses and crop tops as longs as it's the right size it looked great on them !!!!!!!!
I had a bridesmaid dress made for a friends wedding, the lady said it was a uk 18.... i found a label inside that said it was a 24, i had dieted and exersized like craxy and as a disabled woman that was harder, i was gutted by being lied to. I felt like they were laughing at me behined my back! So you never know true sizing in these places anyway unless you have it made by a really expensive place
Wedding dresses go by a different sizing system then street clothes. They were probably telling you the street size, which more people are familiar with.
I’m a Bridal consultant/ alternation assistant if she needed it to fit it would be really pretty If she added mesh gussets to the sides under her arms. That is actually a popular design that most designers already put into gowns. It’s great to know her gown had seam allowance.
Please change the title or add it with a conclusion or some sort. Yes i know you want people to watch your video, but this title is triggering and misleading (in my humble opinion). Example "how i tried to fit into my wedding dress (and failed)".
Thank you so much for posting this raw video...I can relate a lot to this. Both with my wedding dress and just my attachment to my weight in general. HOWEVER, it really, really, really needs a trigger warning. I had an eating disorder in high school, and since that was 15 years ago, I am now able to view something like this as cathartic because while I am 90% better there are still remnants of my insecurities. But if someone was at the low point of their disorder, this would send them further into a downward spiral.
You should have just replaced the zipper with a lace up
Honestly
She works at Buzzfeed. Why would she make a video on a logical well thought out decision?
A Girl And Her Dragons ahlie
Here's me thinking the exact same thing the minute she said it couldn't zip it!!! Like it int rocket science!!
I was gonna say!! I think corset backs are sooo good. You never know how much your weight will fluctuate before your wedding and I feel like a lace up will be more forgiving
"This was a very expensive dress"
*proceeds to roll in bed and on the floor with the dress on, with a dog next to the mesh parts.
Deydey because buying a new dress takes months, even if you do return that dress, and going to the dry cleaners is like $50 and a week
Arrrggggg!! Exactly!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Exactly. I was like wow clearly it didn’t cost that much money if your rolling around on the bed.
Hahaha exactly!! My dress was expensive too and there was zero way I'd let that thing touch a floor (other than the train obviously).
Who else was cringing like how she treated her "expensive" dress 😂
Lol no comments

My first thought was why not just take out the zipper and put in some loops for a corset back.
Elinor same
That's actually pretty smart
Elinor That would have been so cute!
It's a very common fix, it happened all the time on Say Yes to the Dress, and I know people who have done that. :)
I know someone who did it because they didn't have that much money and got a dress that was heavily discounted but about 1 or 2 sizes to small. Sewing in a bit of fancy lace trim and a corset back was what did the trick in the end and she even had a friend who could do it for her.
I work at a Bridal shop, 10/10 agree with the bridal shop lady. People refuse to buy the size they need, and go for a size smaller than they should
I spent so much money on the dress... rolls on the floor, let the dog stand on it.......
Ana Cano oh thank you
I KNOW. That was really irritating me.
THIS!!!
IKR I SAID THE SAME THING
IKR! that's just weird, she said that the dress was expensive yet there she is rolling on the floor like it was a hnm tees 😂
I'm so not okay with the way she approached this. She's a perfectly healthy weight, and now she feels the need to conform to a piece of fabric. Wow.
Sis ur thinking way to deep, all she's doing is trying to fit into a dress because she doesn't wanna spend 3000+ on a dress. She's not anorexic all she's doing is trying to do is fit into a dress

It's actually the opposite. I was a size 0 and needed a size 4 wedding dress.

Long story short...
There was enough material in the dress so it could be let out.

It's Gray so dirt won't show on it as much as a white dress and the dress itself looks simple but elegant so I don't think it's as much as a thousand dollars
Made it the five minute mark and I can't take any more. Self created, self indulgent drama. How repulsive.
Aly ....That was the point of the video...that was the message they're trying to convey.....you really just missed the mark yourself....
At 8:55 she literally says what you wrote
Probably a good idea to watch the whole video or don't comment at all....
Maybe watch the video before commenting
Try watching the video before posting your opinion pumpkin, she literally says she should have had the dress fit her not to try to fit in the dress
Honey, you can't change the size of your ribs.
Potassuim_Cation I used to think this, but there is a certain level of fat that sits underneath the ribs that can be reduced to an extent.
She literally said that.
Giovanna Greeff it's possible to change the size of your ribs?
She was already slim, many people don’t carry weight around their ribs anyway - I don’t really carry weight around my ribs, so even when I gained 30+ pounds I only went up one band size and the measurement was one inch up. This woman’s already quite slim, so there’s probably not much to lose anyway.
You can actually haha
This video feels kinda miserable.
Could you have not added a corset back to the dress?
Navreet and Ramneet that was my first thought I was like it would be so pretty with a corset
To make it a corset back you would need to remove the zip, which could ruin the dress.
Thats what i had to do to my dress when it didn't fit. 😂
Good lord, that is an unhealthy mindset. I haven't finished the video yet but hopefully the lesson is don't torture yourself to fit into a dress.
That being said.. Currently sheddin for the weddin
Actually at the very end of the video she realises that she shouldn't have tried to fit into the dress, but she should have make the dress fit her. So she says that it's not good to be like that
Wow yeah really a good idea to comment after watching the whole thing
usually people schedule a series of alterations every month up to the wedding right after purchasing the dress. That's probably what should have happened from the start. And having worked in the industry, YES it's completely normal to buy a larger size than you expected to have coming in the store. Almost EVERYONE does!
A disordered mess. This could be potentially triggering for those experiencing/recovering from an eating disorder.
THANK GOD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THAT!!!
The title of the video is itself a trigger warning tbh
So don’t watch the video
I had a eating disorder and this wasnt triggering? It was just hthe struggle to fit in a WEDDING DRESS that was too small.
If you have to care about every single human being's sentiments then literally everything would seem "triggering" .
I would never let my future husband see it before the day
Silly Goose It was awesome to get my hubby's reaction when he saw me for the first time on our wedding day. So worth it.
Eh that's old fashioned. I don't care if he sees it.
Good for you
Man I wish I was 137lbs that would be so great 😂
Edit: I don't think people realise that 137lbs will look different on people of all different heights. 137lbs will look different on someone 4"10 then it would on someone who is 5"9
Haililibunnie saaame
Sameeee
I feeeeeellllllll
AbandonedPlaces KidExplorer oh I know, im in the process of losing some weight and becoming healthier. I just wish I was smaller is all, I am glad you recovered :)
I’m 137lbs and I feel fat
I wouldn’t class myself as a sjw,, but shouldn’t this have some sort of warning? For people really struggling with eating disorders ??
No. It's in the title. Someone who would be triggered by this should be smart enough to avoid videos like this
icedwhite mocha exactly if you don’t like it don’t watch and use context clues ya know?
This is extra lol should have just gotten it fix from the beginning. Seems like an excuse to make a video.
it was because she said she went back again to get it fixed but they are both wearing the same clothes. So basically she just got the dress fixed and acted out the rest of it
_Classic Buzzfeed_
You’re right, “employee no one cares about loses a bit of weight” is not the best video idea
Who cares? It's quality content
Jennifer True
Your drees is so beautiful
wow i love dreeses
I don’t like it it looks like a garbage bag
srsly i wanna know where its from
Her drees *is* beautiful
Tray.c Someone is burning 🥵
*she just generally annoyed me throughout the video*
Amy D ikr
kawaii clouds then don't watch it.
Ximena Botello I watch what I want to watch
kawaii clouds wasn't
Talking to you
Ximena Botello umm yes you did that's my name in your comment
I know that the intention behind this wasn’t a bad one, but this is extremely triggering for me, and probably some others, as I’ve struggled with my weight and body image. I can’t even imagine what it would be like in recovery from an ed, or something similar. This is upsetting to say the least, and almost gave me a panic attack. Please put a trigger warning on future videos, or consider the effect they might have on people before deciding to produce.
But why did you watch it? Imagine if a creator starts to think in every individual that might get trigger bc of something Ughhh
You should not have watched this video. The title is enough warning. Be smarter about what you watch.
You knew excatly what this video was about, but you still decided to come here 🤔 You must not be that ”triggered” after all
Don‘t click on it then🙄
My wedding dress was $80 and I got it a week before my wedding. People freak out about crazy things.
How to trigger* an eating disorder 101.
*if you are vulnerable to developing one
take a shot every time they repeat pointless cut scenes
gotta trick the algorithm.
It's a beautiful wedding dress :)
(I couldn't find a positive comment anywhere here.)
Lucy Blue there was enough material for it to be let out.
Tailors are really expensive
cotton candy randy idk about America, but in Britain independent tailors don’t cost that much.
@Lucy Blue You can add a corset back to dresses that are too small to make them larger. There is a store that rents dresses in my area, and they do it all the time.
Can we just talk about how stunning that dress is!?
Ikr! I could definitely see myself wearing something like that on my big day
Well this is a good way to give yourself a eating disorder
Eating disorders shouldnt get thumbs up; they're really serious
You can’t just “give yourself an eating disorder” it’s not just not eating or something, it’s psychological. As someone with anorexia I can tell you it wasn’t videos or situations like this that caused it. At all.
Emily Melendez bruh i know girls can start viewing themselves obsessively like that and then it starts this never ending goal. I have a bulimic and anorexic friend who's been hospitized 3 times because of "swim suit goal". She bought a small swim suit and could fit it and became obsessed. Kept going lower down sizes
Lauren White she’s been hospitalized bc she has eating disorders already, which is why the goal is so dangerous
Yup we are on the exact same page
*Flint still doesn't have water*
I’m glad a video like this was made. It shows future brides not to get crazy. Not to order sizes too small. Not to get your body to fit a dress. Not to rely on external outcomes for happiness & to enjoy your wedding because youre marrying hopefully the love of your life. Not cuz you looked pretty.
The fact that this was posted...
It's a good video. I thought it was funny.
I feel like this should have had some sort of disclaimer
Now that I’ve watched to the end, this video was pointless
Krystle Lewis Definitely
Krystle Lewis Yeah, especially for people who have struggled with eating disorders and/or body image issues😓
It is disgusting
I definitely agree. I feel like a video like this is really triggering for people who struggle with weight issues. Especially showing her using things like Gas X can send a bad message to people who think they need to be a certain size and how they must suffer for that size at all costs.
This video was so badly put together like where is the plot line
I wish I was attractive enough to have someone marry me 😂
MiKillMe PIERCETHEJELLO if you are on your avatar you don't need to be worried
Remember: you aren’t unattractive you just aren’t your own type. There’s some one out there who not only are you their type , but you’re their ideal partner.
MOOD
Don't place all your self worth in your appearance. Marriages based only on how physically attractive you find your partner don't last and aren't healthy. You want somebody who loves your personality, and your looks are just the cherry on top.
MiKillMe PIERCETHEJELLO lmao you are
Oh my goodness. That dress is beautiful. I've immediately become obsessed with gray wedding dresses
There's a big double standard. Men don't have to deal with this
Ofc they have lol
Ladies and Gentlemen you have just witnessed the biggest lie of the day.
Well she did get the wrong size
Just get the right size dress.
Wedding dresses are cut very small. I think it's on purpose.
BuzzFeed: body positivity
Also BuzzFeed: overwork yourself to fit into a dress
The beginning is so scripted...
What do you mean?
Who cares it’s a video it’s her job
For anyone who wanted to know, the dress is the Raincloud by Leanne Marshall.
Dress shopping 101: never get a size smaller unless you're pregnant and the baby is due before the wedding
I want that style dress!!! Thanks for the inspiration. Also you were always beautiful and finding it’s fun to be healthy is empowering
THAT IS A GORGEOUS DRESS!!! I love the color and you look so fantastic in it!
Me after a mental breakdown.
Sarah "Why are you filming this?"
Real answer "Because we can monetize this - Niki already took the normal 'bride getting ready' stuff."
The lady at the dress shop wasn’t answering any of her questions 😆
THE DRESS IS FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL OH MY GOSH ! I’ll be a bridezilla next year aswell my date is coming so soonnnnn!
Wow your super beautiful. You kinda look like miranda cosgrove
That's so damn dangerous 'i can't control my life, but I can control my weight' yet it's so true
Emlah9081 but that's like the biggest indicator of an eating disorder risk
Alyssa Marie I know it's sad
I bought a dress that was two inches too small on my waist. I had a year to fit into it. I thought maybe 7 - 10 lbs would do it.....nope. I ended up having to lose 28lbs to fit into it. Best thing I ever did because I was, and still am, over weight. Now I'm just less over weight!
Or just get it fixed 🤦♀️
Harina Ariana she did 😂
Unfortunately Sometimes it’s not that easy☹️
Would you watch that video tho
Harina Ariana or she can just loose weight like she did
Ashley Caballero Lol what do you mean ?
Sam Halfpenny That’s really cool! You never need to spend lots of money to get the dress of your dreams.
That's a good idea people spend thousands of pounds for a dress you were once
Your dress is so stunning!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!
I get the point of this video....I think. But I'm questioning if you really liked this dress. Why? Because the rolling around on the floor and being very rough, when attempting to remove it don't scream "I'm a bride who absolutely loves my dress".
mrsfruity76 Some people have different reactions to things they love....some want to have it locked away and absolutely protected until their big day while others want to wear it all the time and roll around it, don't try and invalidate her love for her dress only because you would have acted differently.
i loooove her dress. it looks great on herrr!
all she has to do is add a panel... it costs like 30-60 bucks and you can do it yourself easily.
1:45 Great advice here!
Me when school starts again
So glad you ended up getting the dress altered. It's absolutely stunning and your wedding photos are gorgeous!
She’s so thin already
"Look at my wedding dress."
**Dog walking all over dress in background**
I thought this was gonna be like a "love yourself" type of short film but nope its a women trying to fit into her chosen size to small dress.
You could of had a corset back put in on the top part of the back of the dress or folded down the part that wouldn’t zip so it would be a v shaped back
Maria - Julia
That's what my friend did for prom. It looked even better. Gave her a stylish back.
adri I think lace up backs are better for weddings and proms leaves some wiggle room in case .
hope your friend had a lovely prom x
That's the most beautiful wedding dress I have ever seen.
That dog is such a sweet heart. How sweet of that little pup to comfort her while she’s upset.
Figgy Winks oh do they? I wonder why that is?
Em Bem why isnt that sizing standard then?? Daftness!! If they take measurements off the body shape then it should all be standardised?
Loved watching thank you for sharing - you looked so happy and beautiful in your wedding photos - congrats on getting married!
Such a stunning dress!
I’m in LOVE with that dress!
If you bought a real steel bone waist trainer that doesn’t Velcro like the workout ones, it actually brings you in 1-2inches and works permanently.
I’m a Bridal consultant/ alternation assistant if she needed it to fit it would be really pretty
If she added mesh gussets to the sides under her arms. That is actually a popular design that most designers already put into gowns. It’s great to know her gown had seam allowance.
If i ever actually get married i want that dress. Its so beautiful.
Jordan Cole i was looking through the comments trying to find the dress😭 it looks very similar to hayley paige but im not sure
I wonder too :(
@@Mewmewblackberryyay It's a Leanne Marshall
Please change the title or add it with a conclusion or some sort.
Yes i know you want people to watch your video, but this title is triggering and misleading (in my humble opinion).
Example "how i tried to fit into my wedding dress (and failed)".
PLEASE BRUSH YOUR BROWS UPWARDS I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE YOURE SO BEAUTIFUL
Thank you so much for posting this raw video...I can relate a lot to this. Both with my wedding dress and just my attachment to my weight in general. HOWEVER, it really, really, really needs a trigger warning. I had an eating disorder in high school, and since that was 15 years ago, I am now able to view something like this as cathartic because while I am 90% better there are still remnants of my insecurities. But if someone was at the low point of their disorder, this would send them further into a downward spiral.
