When I got born again in 2018, the Lord showed me why many black metal and doom metal artists always refer to "the void" in their lyrics. It is because just before creation, the earth was void. There was darkness and chaos. When these bands refer to the void, they are expressing their desire for creation to be undone - they long for emptiness and chaos to reign (in the form of a void) and it illustrates their satanic desire to rebel not just against God, but also against everything He created. They associate chaos and emptiness with Satan reigning "supreme" and they hate the very idea of an omnipotent and loving God creating something using a supreme and strict systematic order. Therefore, rebellion is desystematic and romanticizes the idea of all order and harmony being broken down. This is the fundamental idea inherent in nihilism, solipsism and anarchy.
Well said! Another example of this is how these artists hate themselves and humanity as a whole - if you look at the "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" album from Dimmu Borgir, it literally means that they have a puritanical hatred for humankind, and the fact that said hate causes euphoria, you can see what spirit is behind this... Satan and his rebellion hates us humans, as we are made in the image of God, and that we worship God (when we are saved), rather than satan, they hate us for it...
Very interesting! thanks for sharing!, it reminded my of a hardcore band with the name "Void" they also had an upside down cross as part of their logo. Again we are reminded that satan comes to kill steal and destroy!
@@BloodBoughtMinistries There's nothing satanic about an inverted cross. It's called the Cross of St. Peter who was executed in this manner because he didn't believe he was worthy of being crucified like Jesus was so he asked to be crucified upside down. Now if it's Jesus hanging upside down, there's a point to be made that is in fact blasphemous but a naked inverted cross is a sign of faith and devotion but many metalheads don't know this so they walk around with them not knowing it's history lol.
I really like this reveal for what it truly is as face value. I do pray and hope that people will take it seriously and consider the consequences of its evil. I was mystified by it in my early 20s I really got into it. I do thank the lord for waking me up to Hope in Christ later in my life. Its a shame, a lost broken and hurt person is looking for hope in that nonsense of music, it just digs a deeper grave for themselves.
@@destroybaal yip it certainly does dig a deeper hole and becomes like a drug, where you need more and more extreme forms of the music. Super glad you got set free!

These are very tired, straw man arguments. To understand the spiritual & occult underpinnings of black metal you would need to forst understand the left hand path, which has varied influences from both eastern & western traditions and philosophies. Most notably, I would argue books like Friedrich Nietzsche's 'The Antichrist' & 'A Genealogy of Morals' explain pretty well the root of the rebellion against Christianity found in black metal. There have been many bands in black metal that have criticized all forms of Abrahamic faith as well though most of those bands have been labeled hateful and cancelled for it, even within the metal scene. The argument that to acknowledge satan relies upon a Christian framework, i suggest you research a group called 'Setians' who instead choose to venerate the earliest manifestation of a devilish advesarial character in mythology. Chaos Gnosticism, which has been a massive influence on the black metal scene, seen most in bands such as Dissection, Watain, Arckanum & the Devils Blood, acknowledge the existence of the Christian god, but in line with other Christian Gnostic traditions, see the god most Christians worship as an evil, lesser diety, a demiurge character who is an enslaver of the spirit of man. Arckanum the black metal band, as well as the Thursakyngi books written by Ekortu, the bands creator, explore the adversarial current and 'dark' 'evil' currents within norse mythology, rejecting the most venerated gods within that pantheon. I could honestly go on for a length of an entire textbook on this subject.
I listened to a lot of u black bands but it goes against the scripture that says to abstain from every appearance of evil. It still has the appearance of evil, visually and audio wise. I no longer desire that sound or aesthetics. God is light and in Him is no darkness.
@@BloodBoughtMinistries That's fine but are you claiming it isn't Christian music just because it's heavy or brutal sounding? The bible can be pretty brutal and dark at times so i think it's fair that Christian music can sound like that. There's a band called Grave Declaration which is a Christian Symphonic BM band which kinda sounds like Dimmu Borgir but the lyrics are pretty much straight up pure worship. I don't see the problem here, surely music that glorifies Jesus and God even if it's heavy and brutal is the point not the manner in which it was delivered.
@@dinoman1367 but you are still being entertained by it. scripture tells us to have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. These bands and their lyrics glorify darkness and mock Christ.
I love how this music gets so under the skin of those it seeks to blaspheme against. That you feel so compelled to talk about them 30 years later when an absolutely tiny number of people can stomach their terrible music would give them a smile.
I never listened to this music. I preferred the 90s grunge, but I’ve always been fascinated with this bands back story. Appreciate the video brother.
