Mind boggling how many that claim to be Christian are more interested in defending sin than being obedient to word of God! God calls us to be Holy and to be separate from this fallen world! If the word of God is not you highest authority you will never be able to properly discern. II Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. I Peter 1:13-16 NKJV Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; [14] as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; [15] but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, [16] because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” -- Those who are not saved cannot understand the issues at hand regarding Brian. I Corinthians 2:14-15 NKJV But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [15] But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. Matthew 7:13-17, 19-20 NKJV “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. [14] Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. [15] “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. [16] You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? [17] Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. [19] Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [20] Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Have you ever even read The Bible? We are called not to be double-minded... a single example of Scripture destroys this statement. There is an entire Book full to refute your pointless statements... you either enter God's Kingdom by sticking to the strait and narrow, or you end up in Hell. Jesus Himself was very clear on this.
@@WaRn00b85 Nice try with the age old Christian scare tactics. What youre saying, especially with the final statement, does nothing other than strengthen my point. You're argument boils down to "Agree with my way of life or die and indure endless suffering for all eternity." We can only continue to pray for people like this. So they may finally be made free of the bondage of this world and earthly gain, may they find their true identity in Christ Jesus.
this is much why many people dislike christians and are adamantly against it. Listen I am not saying whether you are right or wrong, but I think what would be more beneficial is that you offer him up to prayer and encourage him, instead of making a video judging and criticising him. Unless you are walking side by side with him, and now he is living his life on a daily basis. Instead of judging his social media, and recorded clips of them speaking. Just remember the measure you judge another the same regard people will look at and examine you. Maybe he is a witness to the band korn? maybe he is a witness to those people at the crowd. From what I can see he is opening an eye to christ at events and places that are otherwise no other witness. I hope I dont sound too critical, I do see this lukewarm and "wishy washy" christianity, especially in america and it is pretty sad.
@@destroybaal I hear you, but this is not my first time looking at Brian. I do stand by my case, and believe he is not able to preach the full gospel due to his participation in korn. He seemed to have started off well but went back to the old, this time just sober. Pointing out these things is ok though. If not God be my judge. But scripture does say we are allowed to judge those who call themselves fellow believers. We just have no business judging the world. I Corinthians 6:3 NKJV [3] Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? I Corinthians 5:12-13 NKJV [12] For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? [13] But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” Those who are inside are those apart of the body of Christ, the church, whether they are truly saved or not, if one claims to be a Christian then it counts for them.
@@BloodBoughtMinistries I have to admit this is a bit alarming, my friend plays drums for a band by the name Holy Name and I know brian head welch is personally involved with them. I dont know anything about him other than he played guitar for korn. God bless you!
Have you ever read The Bible? Jesus said "you will be hated by the whole world, for my namesake", why? Because we go against the fleshly lusts of the world... Also, the unsaved always see this sort of thing as "hate speech" or "judgement", what you guys don't realize is we go out of our ways to try and help you, because if you don't accept Jesus, deny yourself and follow Him, you will face judgement one day, as all of us will. We do not want to see ANYONE end up in eternal damnation (Hell), no one, eternal, unescapable outer darkness, suffering, wailing, gnashing of teeth and eternal torment in hellfire. It's not a joke, we do it because we care.
I gave up my entire old lifestyle for Christ... Parties, metal, drugs, alcohol, weed, cussing, etc. We are called to be new creations in Christ, not return to our old ways and sit at the seat of skoffers and mockers.
I read Brian's book, and I truly believe he had a moment where the Holy Spirit touched his soul. Unfortunately, he had some bad experiences with other Christians who he felt were only interested in his money. Money has such a powerful grip on modern Christians. The prosperity Gospel has polluted modern Christianity. At least Brian inspired some kids to read up on the teachings of Christ. He may have helped save a few souls. Christianity is about forgiveness, we all fall short of the glory of God.
We are called to be holy for Christ is holy... to put off the things of this world... anger, malice, filthy talking, etc, etc. There is so much Scripture to guide us on how we aught to live, him writing a book or being touched by The Holy Spirit doesn't stand for much if you don't walk the walk (based on what is written in scripture). People who blame Christians who follow the Bible's laws & teachings, for their own unwillingness to give up their fleshly lusts and unbiblical lifestyles is the issue, because they are not yet ready to give up the pleasures of their sins and walk the strait and narrow path. There are many "New Agers" who encountered some fake form of Jesus, and preach a form of Christianity that has nothing to do with The Bible, repentance, etc... it's all about love, and self love, healing, etc. Nothing about repentance, turning from sin, being hated by the world, dying to one's old self, renewal of the mind according to what The Bible says, etc.
Brian has supposed to have "died to himself" but all he's done is get off hard drugs and booze, which is no big deal - anyone can do that with a bit of will power.... Brian may be at peace with *himself* (and his wealth) but he ain't at peace with JESUS: he interprets Jesus/christianity privately... rejoining KORN ain't dying to his previous life... in that regard he *really is* a dog returning to its vomit. No matter how Brian justifies it *KORN* REALLY IS satanic music.
To this day I cannot listen to any metal music after I got saved by Jesus Christ. It's doesn't even matter how acoustic the song is. There is nothing good that comes from it. The feeling that I get as soon as any metal song play is not of Christ. The flesh is weak and lyrics, notes and music tunes are very powerful. Music can stir up emotions in a matter of seconds. I do not get any good Christ-like emotions from listening to metal music. Good job with the video! 🙌🏻
Well said! The dark melancholy and angry feelings metal gives you is definitely not of God... Scripture tells us "For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline." To deny oneself and the lusts of the flesh is key.
Amen my brother. Some people are defending Brian Welch's actions, but he is like one who says he left the filthy pig pen while still standing in the filthy pig pen and saying that he is clean.
I honestly think people that defend people like this either don't study their Bibles, and follow people instead of Christ, or they simply don't want to give up their own fleshly lusts and follow Christ and what is written in Scripture. God bless you.
Struggling with this one. I am not refuting the Scriptures quoted. However, we know that God uses all people, often where they are at, or where they are from. In Jeremiah His people are told to make homes in Babylon. To prosper there. To increase and not decrease. I am not claiming that Brian is sinless and doing nothing wrong. He should consider some things, for certain. But God will use Brian's testimony to pull people out of drugs and darkness, most definitely. Like I said, this is not intended as some full throated defense of Brian and all that he's doing; I'm merely acknowledging a struggle that we all face. We are told to live in this world. We are told, many times. to go back to where we came from and preach the Gospel in that language. I am glad to see this video. I have wondered about him for a long time.
@@FailingAtFarmChores appreciate your comment. There was a time when I looked differently at Brian, years ago before I was saved, even though I thought I was OK with the Lord. (not saying your are not saved at all hey) just speaking about myself here. Anyways I read his first, but when I got saved stuff started to bother me regarding him, as I myself was into metal for many years and played guitar as well. The main think has to be the putting to death of sin for sure, but also he got very involved with false teachers and seemed to not care about really knowing the word of God. It seems like he preaches more on getting free form addictions, crutches, but we don't hear the full gospel from him, and he is not setting an living example of someone who got out of that previous life and is now living to preach the gospel. The gospel and Christianity is not AA or a rehab centre. Sure God will help you get set free, but first one has to come to the end of self and let that old man die. If I was still a metal head and I looked at Brian, I would be so confused, id think I can be saved yet still use profanity and enjoy the same metal lifestyle, now just without drugs and alcohol.
@@BloodBoughtMinistries I don't disagree with anything you've said. Completely concur. I think where I personally struggle is looking at the situation of where we fit in, aside from Brians situation. What I mean is, I acknowledge that Brian is probably not living the way God demands. And being back in Korn, the way he is, is likely causing issue with his walk. However, looking at the rest of us.... We are called to be salt and light. In spite of ourselves and our sin nature. I think of The Saints who were called into dark place, in order to be the light there. I think of Eloy Cassagrande, who is new drummer of Slipknot and was the former drummer of a Catholic metal band. I don't where he is at with Christ. But I know my prayer is that he is still a follower and is somehow able to shine a light so brightly, in the darkness that even Slipknot members can't deny it and somehow they come to Christ because of God putting him there. I know this is not likely what Brian was doing. He did preach to Fieldy and supposedly helped lead him to Christ and a sober life. I know these are longshots. But they are still my prayers. I won't discount what God is able to do. And I can't imagine the impact it would have for bands like Korn or Slipknot to eventually come to Christ; and that's not going to happen with people refusing to engage with them. So, for me, it creates a conundrum. Great conversation, either way!
@@kathyroberts7232 those who are in Christ yes. Not a license to sin. But we need the complete verse to gives us the proper context. Who do not walk according to the flesh. Those who walk according to the flesh are still under condemnation.
Ive always wondered this about him.. i came out of a similar scene and i could never go and hang out with that crowd again... i think you do make some good points... especially the fact that he wants to be on tour with all those satanic bands like slipknot and stuff.. plus music is super powerful... some say it can be a form of witchcraft depending on the intention the song was made with... yea its hard to believe someone that is truly saved would want to be a part of that at all... i use to listen to Korn and it would charge me up to want to get high and you can tell a lot of their songs are against God like "Got The Life"... that song use to pump me up a lot
I was a militant God/religion hating atheist, addicted to alcohol, p()rn, heavily into the most grotesque and blasphemous metal imaginable, and when I got saved, I literally turned away from all these things, threw out all my music, clothing, etc. Like you say, music is super powerful. My life resembles nothing of what it was now (other than my tattoos, which are part of my testimony now). God Bless.
When I first saw his testimony, and he walked out of Korn, I felt upset (I was a God-hating atheist at that point, and felt he was a m0r0n for believing in a god that doesn't even exist), now, after being saved myself and actually following Christ, I see a big issue with going back to Korn and surrounding yourself with people who openly sin, mock and scoff, and blaspheme God's name. Like the dog returning to its vomit (quoting Proverbs here, not my own words). We must all pray Head leaves and follows God for good! God bless!
Korn are sober and have been for a long time now. Someone who has really found God wouldn't feel insecure about the temptations of being on the road. Slipknot arent Satanic. They believe in Duality, both the concept of God and the devil being One of the same. The song got the life is not satanic either. Go back and read the actual lyrics. Jonathan Davis has been able to debate his own beliefs without attacking the Christian faith. And if you're afraid of witchcraft in 2024 then I have a bridge for sale that I gotta show you...
As a musician who also believes in Christ, A gig is a gig.. I’m in a deathmetal band atm fast paced, blast beats, heavy riffs in the key of B (aside from Korns subject matter) I don’t believe in your video… he can live that life and be in Korn for money.. Korn is a million dollar band and he can bring his positivity to the band, since he has been in the band they don’t play live any of the songs from untouchables album… which is an album that does have anger twords Christ
Bro no offence, but I seriously doubt your conviction in Christ, your understanding of true Christianity, or knowledge of Scripture. Trust me, I used to be a militant, god-hating atheist, who listened to the most brutal metal (various black, death, grindcore, etc. Vehemence, Cattle Decapitation, Belphegor, Lord Belial, Mayhem, etc, etc, etc) - Metal was my life... and everything that went with it, getting absolutely hammered at every possible occasion, even to the point of losing my job, getting into car wrecks, fights, issues with police, etc... I lived the life... Then by some miracle, I was newlyborn in Christ 7 years ago, and The Holy spirit lead me to literally throw away ALL my metal stuff, CDs, DVDs, shirts, caps, posters, etc. Why? Because they glorify darkness (I have a bunch of skulls tattooed on me as well), most hardcore metal is against God, and the spirit in the people that make the music is demonic - You cannot drink from the cup of demons and the cup of God... Scripture is clear, and anyone who says otherwise is unwilling to give up their identity in worldly things, deny themself, pick-up their cross, and follow Christ. There is a ton of Scripture which tells us to abstain from the very appearance of evil, let no corrupting/filthy speech come out of us, etc. It's like saying... "I'm a stripper... work is work..." but you want to say you're a Christian? Why be involved with these things? There are other ways to make money in life.

@@STB_LEVIATHAN it's not just corrupt words but vile and filthy language. Eg profanity. But this may not make sense to you if you are not a Christian. And that is ok, but Brian claims to be a Christian so he will get judged according to scripture.
Doesn't take a lot of brainpower to figure out what is corrupt speech. Why refer to filthy things such as human excrement, or using a filth word for having s3x (f^%#) constantly. Also, why does it feel good to use corrupt speech? Or use God's name in vain? Because the spirit in us (when we are unsaved), is against everything God stands for.
My issue is this wasnt secret info. He rejoined back in 2013. And will usually have his christian metal band love and death play as well. How do you know whether or not he ministers to fans who come to the korn shows? Cause this would give him access to preach to fans that he might not have been able to reach before. And jesus was always surrounding himself with sinners too. Heck one of the other members also got saved as well . Probably in part to head. Brian still preaches and minister's to other people to this day. Who knows how many people he's helped. Attacking people like this and calling them hypocrites cause they play guitar with their best friends is not the way to reach people. You shouldn't isolate yourself from your friends. And the unequally yoked verse is specifically referring to marriage. Not this.
@laylah2004 does head? He just plays guitar with them. You don't know what what he does with the band afterwards. Playing guitar is his job. Does that mean we shouldn't work a job at a place that may have values against ours? I work for Walmart. Should I stop?.
@laylah2004 no he didn't. But we live in sin everyday. Are you saying nothing we do matter? Are we not saved by christ? Is head not allowed to make money working a job cause some of the members curse?
you talk about his sins by devoting an entire video to condemning the actions of others, what are you trying to prove? Isn't condemnation a sin? or is there condemnation for good? No, you are just throwing stones, not noticing your sins that we commit every day!...
Plenty of Scripture to validate the poster's actions... We are called to rebuke our brothers and sisters, we are told we may judge, but we will be judged according to the standard we judge... ultimately, Jesus is the final judge, and each person will face Judgement. But nitpicking what scripture to keep, and what scripture to throw out/ignore, is a dangerous path to be on. That said. We don't judge these people, we rebuke their actions as they are stumbling blocks for others... we are called to be holy for Jesus Christ is holy, how is this behaviour holy?

The feeling that I get as soon as any metal song play is not of Christ. The flesh is weak and lyrics, notes and music tunes are very powerful. Music can stir up emotions in a matter of seconds. I do not get any good Christ-like emotions from listening to metal music. Good job with the video! 🙌🏻

Bro no offence, but I seriously doubt your conviction in Christ, your understanding of true Christianity, or knowledge of Scripture.

@BloodBoughtMinistries That's wonderful but what about the other 500 sins in your life. Berating people for public content is not restoring someone gently or bringing Christ's kingdom to earth. You nor I know what is in Brian's heart. If he is doing it wrong God will correct him. If you confess Jesus is Lord with your mouth and believe God raised him from the dead YOU WILL BE SAVED. Seems he has checked those requirements so now it's between him and the father. I say this because I tried turning from rock or "secular music" to Christian music only to find almost evert artist either turned from thier faith, support a gay agenda, or have some other sin in thier life. God clearly tells us to make joyful noise. Yes foul language is not okay but im not sin free enough to be telling others naughty naughty. Or to tell others they are bad. Make a video and say I hope Brian is okay and let's pray for our brother to stay strong and pray if he is astray for God to restore him gently. We are called to love and judge righteously for ourselves. He knows the Gospel. He knows right from wrong. It's between him and the Lord. I am certain a lot if people have to come to faith in Christ through Brian. I know a lot of people who DID NOT commit suicide because they found an outlet in KoRns music. That's my two cents.
@@membersofjesusfamily Oh another one of "judging others" - We are never told not to judge, but told what we judge by, we shall also be judged by... trust me, I gave up all the filth of my old self, cussing, alcoholism, god-hating blasphemy, p()rn, etc, etc... not because I am amazing, but becuase I trusted in God, and He renewed my mind.... like scripture tells us, what will happen. But you can't have one foot in the world and one foot in Scripture... We don't judge anyway, we point out the warning signs that can be a stumbling block for others, or even have you end up in Hell, because you do not repent and turn from your old ways.
Brian does not write the lyrics. All of the songs talk about JDs the vocalists childhood traumas and other stuff.
@@ottonomm3283 but he participates in them. I take it you are not a born again Christian? If so this video won't make too much sense for you.
@BloodBoughtMinistries you can't question someone's salvation like that. That is heresy
Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove that splinter in your eye,' when you do not even notice the wooden beam in your own eye? You hypocrite!
Hahahahahhahaha
Glad you enjoyed the video. God bless you. 🙂
Enjoy your stay. I pray you find Jesus Christ and come to understand what these videos are about. 😉

Your focused on the spec in your brothers eye , what makes you so perfect and worthy to judge ?
You are assuming he is a brother. what scriptures do you use to justify participating in sin as a Christian and by doing so you are dragging the name of God through the mud? Just curious as that is what Brian is doing, the bible goes against his actions, the bible is my highest authority.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13
For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore 'put away from yourselves the evil person.
In 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 Paul tells us, inspired by the Holy Spirit, that we are not here to judge outsiders, those who are not a part of the church, but the church, as in fellow believers, if you claim to be a Christian and you are teaching and living contrary to the word of God then it is not wrong to point it out and use the bible to support your reasons for doing so.
@@BloodBoughtMinistries he is a brother we are not the judge as we are also sinners, including you , your worthy to cast stones ?
Always "hate speech" or "judgement" when people want to point out when "Christians" don't do what is written in The Bible we're all called to study, and so-doing, follow Christ's teachings. When we, people who come from similar or even worse backgrounds, have experienced true freedom in Christ, we don't share these things to judge... we share it as a warning to others, as there is nothing that scares me more than ending up in hell for all eternity... and we share this as a warning. Jesus was clear in His teachings: "Not everyone that comes to me and says "Lord! Lord! .... will be saved"... Jesus said: "I will tell them, depart from me, I never knew you, you workers of lawlessness".
Most generic expose ever. He was a meth head when he left the band and found god. Do meth you’ll find god too or die. God got him sober he rejoined the band and is sober. So EAD
@@Sirkitz there are many Christians who used to be addicts and then got sober, but did not return to the other sin they used to participate in. This won't make sense if you have hot been born again. God is not someone to just help you get free from addiction. I got sober before I got saved. Once I got saved I knew sin was sin and the bible tells us to put it to death. Hence why I need to live according to the bible.

Did you even watch the video?? Do you not see the Scripture quoted explaining the various issues with a "follower" of Christ being unequally yoked with people who literally cuss, blaspheme God's name? You can't serve two masters. You either give up your old life, and follow Jesus, or you follow this luke warm path. Nitpicking what Scripture to follow is a dangerous path to be on.
All right 👍🏽 Just what I was waiting for 🫶🏽
Hope you enjoy it 🙂🙏
It seems more and more musicians and Hollywood are coming out as Christian, but their fruits do not show it.

@@terripaxton957 For real! You shall know the tree by its fruit. We cannot bear fruit if we don't actually follow Jesus Christ and what The Bible tells us to do.
BloodBoughtMinistries' videos are just getting better and better! Let us continue to pray The Lord uses his channel to reach the lost and expose the wicked and dark things people, especially professing Christians, should steer clear from! Always exciting to see a new BBM video pop up in my feed! God bless!
