      To be honest, I’m not entirely sure if the Mobvoi/Ticwatch proprietary health app that is built in on the watch supports external sensors or not. That said, I know that there are countless other applications that can be downloaded that do support external sensors.

      @@TechyAgent I had the watch for a couple of days before sending it back. It was bulky and uncomfortable to wear for me. You can pair an HR strap to Google Fit I suppose. You just don't get any meaningful post workout analysis with Fit.

      @@TechyAgent Hi, I've been waiting for your reviews, had to order this watch, but it doesn't quite handle an gym.
      Ultimately, I wonder between the Garmin Venu and the Forerunner 245. 245 offers more stats like Training Load, but I don't know how much they will be useful for strength exercises and maybe Venu here will be a better option with a smoother erkan. What do you think?...

    How is the experience with Bluetooth Headhones? (In general with WearOS) Nobody seems to talk about it.. Is it possible to listen to Spotify while also tracking the workout progress? And most importantly, does it have an audio trainer like with Endomondo (And it's derivatives) where it tells you your pace/distance/heartrate via TTS every kilometers or so? Is that even supported in WearOS?

    Never had any problems with the oxygen sensor on mine and it works good, takes appr 15 seconds to measure. Visibility of the screen is great. What couldn't find is fit sleep installed on the watches, neither from Google play. However I'm using ticwatch built in tracking apps. The battery lasts 2 days or a bit more with all the sensors activated in tracking mode. If essential screen is on so the battery life is longer.
    Overall good watches, but was disappointed no altimeter and pressure sensors or couldn't find how they work, so couldn't determine the pressure and therefore the height.

    Which watch will be a 10 in your opinion? And which one will be the best overall (smart and fitness features)? And last: best fitness watch?

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent  3 роки тому +1

      That’s a good question, as it’s almost impossible for me to think of anything I would call a 10: no one watch is the BEST in every area. There are watches that are great for cardio/gps based exercise, there are watches that are better for gym use, and there are watches that do a good job covering everything even if they aren’t the best in every category. I’m planning on doing some sort of review here in a couple of weeks where I talk about the top three watches of 2020 under $400. I’m not sure what my three will be, but I think at least two of them will be the Garmin Vivoactive 4 and Apple Watch Series 6.

    • @TechyAgent
      @TechyAgent  3 роки тому

      It’s unfortunately not, which is why I ended up not reviewing it. In the last couple of years polar or push is a product to production, before it’s ready, and then they spend the next six months developing firmware updates to make it good. So I wanted to give it almost a year before I reviewed it because some of the preliminary reviews from people I trust weren’t stellar. Check out Stevie Richards review on it. He and I are friends and he reviewed it and gave it bad marks, and I’m inclined to believe it since the first gen of the watch that I reviewed was subpar.

    I liked the watch, until it died because of a faulty charger. I was only able to charge the watch once and only to 95% and then the charger died. And after researching the issue. I found this is a common and known problem. Here is the problem. You can not buy a new charger. And here is what I learned. Do not buy a smart watch. If it has only one way to charge the watch. I returned the watch. And got a Samsung galaxy 3. This watch is great, and can be charged wirelessly if needed.

    Sorry but as a ticwatch pro 3 owner that uses this for fitness, this review is extremely poor - it does not even show the actual watch apps, features and screens but instead concentrates on showing marketing drone like footage of the reviewer. The review is so disconnected from the actual watch features (which are quite poor - anyone who uses the watch could tell you) which suggests this video was paid by the watchmaker.
