Great to see you back creating awesome content.
This product is pretty outstanding and does what it advertises very well. It looks like a great solution for a minimalist.
🙌
It absolutely does! Its one of those tech items that every podcaster, musician, and content creator could benefit from. I’m using it virtually every day now.
I have an audigo and absolutely love it. Glad to see them get some love here. I upload videos using it regularly and have no complaints
It’s a great product, nothing else quite like it, and it fills a big gap in the creative tool space.
🤩
Great job on a comprehensive “all bases covered” review. I appreciate you!
Perfect review of this amazing mic and software! 👏 Thank you!
Awesome summary! I stumbled across the Audigo on a random TikTok video, but this breakdown answered all the questions I then had 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Glad to see you back
Smart microphone. I like it. Monitoring with AirPods is really useful. Audio quality is so under-rated, under-served in today's era of self-produced media. This compact solution with stereo seems such a great solution for media producers.
Thanks for covering this tech !
Great review. I just ordered 2 of them. I would love it if you would do a tutorial video on how you use this little bugger....ie settings and adjustments in the app. 2 sound samples that really stood out were the girl playing the piano and you playing the acoustic guitar and singing. Curious to know how you set up the settings for your sample. Looks like you put the mic at the classic mic location for the guitar, but it picked your voice well too.
Good to see you back
Thanks for putting this together. I wanted know if it was worth the money. I think I’m gonna go ahead and order one. Thanks again!
hey hes back.. just feels like yesterday i was watching your videos on atlas wearable or beast sensor!
very well done! thanks,
Very cool - thanks
Welcome back pal ….hope all is well
He’s back!
Ha! Well, yes, but I won’t be releasing as many videos as I used to. That said, I can’t help myself, I enjoy making videos and want to return to that creative outlet, as my time allows. Thanks for watching!
Good overview. Just heard about this product this week and am checking it out.
(too bad, I will have to wait for the android version methinks).
What would this be like for just content creating or podcasting on the go? Or is it mainly geared toward musicians?
Welcome back
Thanks! I won’t be releasing as much content as I did in the past, but I do want to continue making videos.
Hey thanks for the video. Living in Europe, is there anything similar that we can buy here, unfortunately Audigo isn’t available outside of the US :(
This is the longest time I've had a microphone sitting on the shelf as a paperweight waiting on an Android app. I will probably end up getting rid of it before the app comes out, not even ever getting to try it.
I wondering if it works on livestream ,example busking
The record button is not working for me. How do I fix this so I don’t have to get up? Thanks!
Is this thing strictly for use with an iphone? Or does it have Bluetooth functionality to pair with a portable speaker? I have the JBL Eon One, and to be able to also use this as a wireless performance mic would make it worthwhile for me.
It's not a Bluetooth mic in the traditional sense. It records audio to memory on the mic so will not work for live performance.
Is there a samples library either included or sampled tracks can be downloaded to this app? How about vocal effects?
No sample library in the app but you can import any audio track on your phone into a new project. The app includes stereo with adjustment, reverb and EQ. No specific vocal effects currently. What would you like to see?
Very intriguing! What about wind noise outdoors?
ua-cam.com/video/C2o6Y41a8eQ/v-deo.html
@@audigolabs Nice! Thank you.
Wind noise can be solved 2 ways: light to moderate wind noise isn’t an issue because of the construction of the microphone, the capsules are behind a metal grid that acts as a kind of built-in pop-shield, and it works great. But if you get into a severe wind situation, you can simply slide a standard microphone foam cover over the microphone for additional wind shielding. In fact, if you look closely at one point in the video, you’ll see that the guy that is recording on the rooftop is using the foam method.
@@TechyAgent Thanks so much for this helpful response! :-) Think I‘ll order one…though I hesitate because of the 20-dollar monthly subscription, despite recognizing that such a model will probably ensure long-term updates and feature improvements over time. But for occasional, non-professional (family and friends) use, the price tag for the sub is rather high. If only they had a stripped-down model that cost only about €3 a month, maybe with a lower GB volume or something, but without stripping away the EQ and other highly valuable features in the Pro model….
Through my headphones, it sounds like the compact microphone that it is -- mostly midrange and not much bass. Has anybody done benchmark comparisons testing its sound quality against other mics?
After the first year subscription, if you do not renew, are you still able to record and sync with the iPhone?
yes you are
Thanks! One final question - is this mainly for softer acoustics with vocals or can it handle a live band?
Welcome home, my Brother.
Thanks man! You are still here! Good to see you online again.
what's another wireless microphone for iphone, like this, without the other stuff, just the mic?
DJI wireless mics
Can I use Audigo has a mic to play live to another phone without the app? Or does it just record into the app?
Its not a live performance mic, just for recording to the Audigo app.
Can you record audio/video using the native iPhone video app?
You can record audio with the Audigo app while shooting video with the iPhone app but the Audigo mics works directly with the Audigo app only.
You said it reminds you of an SM57 but does it come with or have you found a frequency response chart for the mid-side condenser mics? Both in mono and stereo? I would also be curious to find out what the SPL is as I’ve seen people use it on their cabs without distorting the mic but your plosives while speaking distorted the mic pretty easily. Thanks for the review 👏🏽
Can you monitor while playing guitar and singing, through BT?
As audio is recorded to memory on the mic, there is no live monitoring.
Can you broadcast live to instagram ? Or UA-cam live ?
Not currently. Working on that for next year.
For the subscription, after a year is it another $240 or is it $20 a month?
subscription is not required but if you want cloud storage and remote collaboration the Studio plan is now $7.99.
Who is the girl playing from about 5:30 and what is the name of the song? I must know - What an absolute banger!
www.youtube.com/@Rozziofficial
What is the price of buying just one microphone? 249$ right?
Does the tripod/stand come with it?
It doesn’t, but it comes with a mounting port
How much memory is onboard - how many minutes can you record to the device?
32 GB / 40 hrs of 48kHz wav files
@@audigolabs thanks! Have ordered mine and can't wait for it to arrive!
I’m wondering how this would work for a two person podcast. Seems like it would really simplify the process
Definitely. And record video.
Can I livestream whilst it’s connected? Thanks
Not currently but looking to add that functionality in the future.
Man..I’d be sold if you could cut & add multiple videos per project.
Working on that...
what about Android phone?
Who is the female artist at the piano @5:29?
@Rozziofficial
Hmmm, an interesting little gadget, but combining wireless mic with wireless headphones for monitoring is a recipe for major latency issues, I'd have thought
No latency. It's not a Bluetooth mic in the traditional sense. It records audio to memory on the mic so.
is their a good alternative for this one? caus it doesnt ship outside U.S
I hope that guy’s leg is okay now
Can someone buy me this thx
Was ready to order until I saw the monthly subscription.
Subscription is optional.
Hey good news! Subscription is now only $7.99/month, it’s 100gigs, with all the Pro features. Thats still not cheap, however, I’m collaborating with a Hawaiian guitarist so….worth it for me. I should be able to offload my files onto a thumb drive I imagine, the software allows you to offload onto a computer based DAW to edit so I can’t imagine it won’t work for longer term storage so I can keep using the 100gig cloud as a collaboration space? Or up the cloud storage. That’s a whole lotta firepower and convenience for the money though
I just got this and still have latency, very Disappointment,
I can almost hear Steve Jobs' voice in my head. "Every once in a while, a revolutionary product comes along..."
$240 annual subscription for what?
A metronome and cloud storage. Wow. It's a great device, but no way worth paying a sub for imo
Currently, the pro features include: the Audigo mic to keep for life, EQ, cloud storage, and a metronome. Over the next year, they will roll out additional features that include live streaming, multiple mic recording, and collaborations. The fact that they give you the mic for life is enough to justify the price for at least one year!
@TechyAgent no question about it being a cracking unit, lot of great specs
@@TechyAgent Bit puzzled by "They give you the mike for life..." remark.... So you might actually have to spend $200 and ...give the thing back/ have it disabled etc?
So do you have to get the subscription to use to mic ?
It's cool, but I genuinely think it sounds bad. It's just not up to par for that price point and plus a subscription? I don't think this is a good deal at all.
You lost me at iPhone..... I'm on Android.
Will it be a good option to record two source at once that are about 10 feet apart? The sources are a 20 watt guitar amp and a some speakers that I play backing tracks on. @techyagent
