Great breakdown Patrick! It seems like currently the ticwatch is too limited in its current state when paired with an iPhone. hopefully mobvoi continues to improve upon on it and gives us a more compatible variant on the ticwatch pro 4

Great review for iPhone users! When connected to iPhone will the watch receive and be able to view smart picture preview notifications? On my iPhone I get picture notifications when my security cameras detect motion, my Apple Watch shows the notification with picture preview, will the TicWatch Pro 3 or any Wear OS watch have this feature?
Are you able to just answer a call and talk via the TicWatch Pro 3? When mentioned making a call is not possible. Can you use Google assistant to dictate a message and send via the watch on iPhone?

Voice Memo in the latest version on iPhone app is under Me and in the pruple bubble button called Voice Memo.
I can't see how to transfer to PC or Mac. I guess Airdrop is the only option. ???

great review Patrick! i had a Amazfit T-REX PRO which i got recently and i also returned it the following day, well it doesn't seem working properly on iphone, no messages as well..so i decided to return it, now on the Ticwatch Pro 3 i was thinking and planning to get one..which i saw on several reviews that it works good, same as the the iphone, and yes, thanks again for letting us know that its based on the APP , and not totally connect it via Bluetooth which u said it might have problems, perhaps, since it's not an IWATCH, well, hopefully MOBVOI, improves and updates the watch regularly to improve its battery and system on iphone and same as on android....again, THANKS for the review still watching your review to get more ideas.

I had this happen to me on the fossil Gen 5 where it disconnected for no reason and I had to reset on iOS. Could be a Wear OS thing.

Yes, and NO. It depends on TWO apps to work, where BOTH need to connect to the watch for it work. The core one, is Wear OS and Mobvoi is needed, too. After trying for an hour to get them both resyncing to the watch (and I’ve been messing with wearables since they came out), I could not get Mobvoi to work again. So, as much as I wanted to use Wear OS, I have decided to send mine back. One the flip side, Huami/Amazfit/Zepp GTR 3 Pro is an EXCELLENT device and the added features and improvements make it ONE generation away from being an Apple Watch contender.
I fixed the problem, by making sure my other devices like my Amazfit GTR3 are disconnected.
And let’s not forget.... that b-roll game 🔥

Hm, that's annoying. Wish I could help but I no longer have this watch so I can't check it for you.
I believe UA-cam premium subscribers can listen to music offline with an iPhone. I wish that they had more option such as Amazon prime music.

Hey man, I'd say it's an upgrade. WearOS has definitely improved, the battery life is much better on the Ticwatch and it has additional sensors (don't know if that matters to you). Then there is the larger storage and she snappier processor. But then again, there is also a pretty significant price difference. Hope that helps a bit.

Hi Tony, I'm currently using an Apple Watch SE. I couldn't agree with you more on the design, but in terms of functionality, at least for an iPhone user, it is a joy to use. Everything just works. No connectivity problems. And since I use the cellular version, it allows me to stream music from spotify and make calls without my phone present.

How does the Apple Pay work? I assume the watch uses Google pay but does it seamlessly take the info from Apple Pay for it to work properly as it does on an Apple Watch? Also can you set it so that the Amoled display comes on with a raise if the wrist rather than just the LCD? A review I watched showed the wearer having to rap the screen, or press a button to get the amoled on which is a shame as that is where the nice watch face is!
Hi Mike! Yes you can set it to come on when you raise your wrist. As regards Apple Pay, I don't think that works on any non Apple device.

Hey Mike , theoretically it should work. The WearOS app shouldn’t require any phone. But I read several reports about it not working on the Ticwatch Pro 3 for some people. It might be a regional thing.

Normal texts and replies to telegram are possible, so I would assume that works as well.
Agora, em 2022, estou usando meu Ticwatch Pro GPS com meu iPhone 11 e Spotify off line. Também Utilizo o Google Pay sem problemas. Mas ainda tenho problemas de perda de conexão. As notificações continuam funcionando, mas o relógio perde a conexão de dados e o Google Assistente fica offline. Gostaria que tivesse explicado como corrigir isso. Now, in 2022, I'm using my Ticwatch Pro GPS with my iPhone 11 and Spotify offline. I also use Google Pay without problems. But I still have problems with loss of connection. Notifications continue to work, but the clock loses its data connection and Google Assistant goes offline. I wish you had explained how to fix this.

MyTicwatch lasts 4 days or 96 hours. If I turned off WiFi and BlueTooth I'm sure it would last even longer. But then it wouldnt be able to synch with my phone.

Loosing connection with iPhone is a deal breaker for me. I already have Samsung watch that is doing exactly the same and want to replace it. Clearly only Apple watch is doing good with iPhone, but that battery life is just not good enough for the cost.
I agree, battery life on apple watches is not good. But it's true that Apple product integrate with each other seamlessly.

It is a fraud. The oxygen and heart sensors stopped working just after two weeks I bought the Ticwath PRO 3 GPS. I contacted the Mobvoi support team and the answer was that wetting the watch wasn´t covered by the warranty and they only offered me a 30% discount on another product. This is clearly a scam or fraud.
Hey Juan, I'm sorry to hear that. That clearly isn't ok, since the watch is supposed to be waterproof. I obviously don't work for Mobvoi so can't do anything for you, but I'd try again with them and dispute what they say.
Not a cheap watch, if your going to spend over 250 buck for a watch and use it with and iPhone, you'll be better of spending the extra cash and get everything working.

Apple does everything they can to ensure you use nothing but Apple products, they completely reject Android. This is why most things Android dont work, or dont work well on Apple devices. In this case, you should be comparing the TicWatch when using an Android as your daily phone, and an Apple watch when using an iphone as your daily phone. Judging or reviewing the TicWatch when using an iPhone is like judging a PS5 that's connected to a TV from the 70's. Its nearly the same thing comparing an Apple Watch when using an Android as your daily phone. You cant showcase the features of a device if the manufacturer of one device has blocked connectivity to a different OS or doesnt provide software for them. Try this at home, plug your shaver into your phone!
The point of the video was to review how well the Ticwatch works with an iPhone. Clearly, it works best with Android.
