- Looks like Bike Berry got tired of being the "Motorized Bike Meme" and has started a possible reboot.
I still have some things to say, but it looks like they are on the right track.

Moterbike Mike here, Bike berry just came out with a video that says the new moter exaust will run into the frame and sprocket because the exaust comes out the other side
Lol... Well if that is true, I'm screwed.
I just ordered the chopper.
RIP, thanks for the heads up.
Dude dat blows
I'm sure you'll find something to put dat engine on, and I know you have an extra engine for dat chopper. Peace out brother
I can get behind the Chopper frames coming back around, Its an under-loved and niche pocket within the motorized bike community with some high end providers or parts similar to the size of Gemini Wheels in business size aka one man shows. I do recommend Checking out what Pedal Chopper has to offer that may improve the ride a bit mainly for the original 2005 OCC's/ XL's and Spoiler frames so I cant say it will be compatible 100% but that's just with 4 years of experience running the OCC frame personally with his CNC motor mounts.
I can't wait to see what the Stinger is like.
I got my first motor from Bike Berry it was a 66cc and I upgraded the crap out of it and thrashed it to no end I was honestly surprised it survived my freshman sophomore junior and senior year of high school. After that first motor I’ve never had a motor last more then a couple years before it required some work or needed replacing completely.
Also good to see the channel is thriving
Will have to check their wheels out.Thanks.(Bought a 'heavy-duty' online elsewhere, and 14gauge spokes when it finally arrived as a rear rim as ordered.Waited over 2 months as they sent a front rim 1st try so was using a different rim and theirs set too long to return.Bastages).Never seen a tube that thick.Kewl.I was 'informed and entertained',thnx.
I don't know where you find the time (and money). I appreciate how your honesty comes through and the update on the present status of motorized bicycle wheels, parts, engines and frames. Thank you. You're really good at leaving me anticipating your next video explaining very well what you continue to learn and experience where you left off on the previous one. Thanks again.
But the boost bottles are a profit boost! 😁
That's the only thing it boosts is thier wallet while it's leaning out your engine and wallet... ha😂
I have a phantom v3 I have no issues as of now.
Dude i love you're videos music, bike, everything i learn a lot ty . For the time in making the videos.
Great info & Bikeberry analysis & review! Man!, that drone footage made me think I was doot dragging low in the fields & tree tops! Reminded me of Tucker Gott's powered paragliding vids thru the fields. Thanls for sharing your experiences & insights! Paul from S. Central Tx.
Thanks again for another great Video! Looking forward to seeing your next project. Ride safe
Love the bike and drone combo!
love your videos man they have helped me advance in the hobby so much, id love to send some photos of my build sometime!
always very informative vid again
To bikeberry's credit they did a real exhaust test with a bunch of their pipes and the banana pipe made a big difference and was way better than a stock pipe.
I've played with different baffle and cap setups with my bt100 and honestly just taking the cap off the pipe and the bike sounds amazing. It pops and pings and revs way higher.
Big thanks for sharing your point of views !nice flying
Love your videos
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video 📹 great stuff 👍
I think the extra cooling fins complement the thick iron sleeve and keep it from getting hot. That iron sleeve looks so think you could possibly get a machine shop to bore it to 52mm and run a saw piston also a big waring to anymore buying the bike berry deluxe now they are selling the fat belly/mz clone not the nasty jack style
Bike berry is pure comedy show 🤣
They should sell dud fireworks to help save there reputation
I'm catching up on your videos... I've been so busy that sometimes I forget to breathe...!!!!!!¡
Pretty Kool stuff you can do with a bike now days.👍
I'm in the process of putting a four stroke on my beach cruiser. I'm not going conventional but have decided to mount the engine above the rear tire. It has a factory built centrifugal clutch so no extra cables needed.I want to keep the peddles and esthetics on my old huffy regatta three speed as original as possible 😁.
Thanks for the ideas and encouragement from this video. I'm looking forward to your next adventure (modification)😁👍
Besides, the 49cc engine fits snuggly onto the cargo frame and easily lines up with the tire spindle.
My cheap random 49mm iron sleeve top end kit had a tapered sleeve also. (smaller at the bottom). Which is either a better or worse design. I think it's possibly the latter & what's made many of them fail early. Causing the iron skirts to break off.
On my 47mm kit, the piston (without rings on) will easily slide through the bore without sticking when you drop it in. With quite a bit of piston skirt/to cyl wall clearance..On the 49mm it'd stick towards the bottom. Also was a tighter fit up top than the 47mm. The bore is not perfectly round either & neither is the piston skirt. Many engines are purposely made to have slightly out of round pistons & bores but only slightly 🆚 it being noticeable without a micrometer (I haven't checked 47mm bore roundness to compare)
I used some sandpaper & gradually sanded away on the bottom cyl sticking spots, instead of everywhere inside cyl, until the piston just barely slid through, when dropped in,then rehoned it & it's been fine.
I noticed the iron sleeve took a lot longer to break in. It gradually kept making more power the more I rode it. I suspect because clearance was too tight & parts needed to get wore down to loosen up. I have plenty of miles on it now with no issues.
Those BT100 V2 are obviously overpriced & need proper porting to make any serious power. Anyone saying it's a great kit out of the box for the price is obviously shilling for BB to get free parts.
that runcam thumb looks pretty nice, it could use an ND filter though
If you go to treatland and search for pugeot 103 hubs and 17" x 140 rims they have spokes kit for it... 17x 2.75 tires
I'm going with a 19x185 rim and tire 3.0 spokes 36 spokes holes and the xlfd sturmey archer on the front... Husky has a sturmey archer front 26" x 2.125 on 11ga and maybe a 24" for a chopper fat tire options...
" is like a wet piece a spaghetti" 😂
Could you use the 3rd white wire from the magneto to power that camera?
on the f zero frame have you tried running a spring loaded tentioner in tandem with the solid mount ones?
While I'm spamming... Bell-Ray blue and tacky chain lube sprayed into a spinning new coaster brake hub once a week made the KT histop last unbelievably longer than any grease... Bottom bracket also... I'm trying EP moly grease with black ops kit that's sealed...
I've gone through a coaster brake hub with green Lucas grease and it lasted about 2 weeks the one with Bell-Ray is 2 years and still going and I just sprayed it and didn't take it apart and clean out the factory Vaseline
I’ve been using zuma jog cylinders lately I have to convert it into a case read only works for the YD 100 fits perfectly no drilling necessary. You just need to make a spacer plate. I hope in the future you considered on making one.
Is it a 50mm Zuma jog cylinder? Or hopefully larger
Hey hover this maybe my device or youtube acting up again but i saw a lot of blurring during the drone video the blurring seemed to be the worst while the drone was accelerating or moving left or right
Does the bt100 v2 have piston the blocks the exhaust at bdc like the ld100 they block the exhaust so Rob's the hp of what the engine can make with a small spacer and deck cylinder these engine are powerful
can you please do more motorized bike videos?
I broke a head bolt today. I'm great at breaking something that works
I feel your pain.
i agree with you on the bike berry stuff brother
Im building a devinci coyote with a phantom 85v3 motor, throwing a cheap set of dirt jump forks on there so I can huck some jumps and get some motocross style action out of it.
Can I build one of these bikes to take me to work about 8 miles or so
Hey, you indicated earlier you like the zeda firestorm 80cc engine. I notice they have a belt drive version. Have you tried it? Oh, do you or why do you prefer a 2 stroke? Thanks
What exhaust and muffler are you using? can i get the links?
One problem about bikeberry wheel set that should be mentioned is once you have set the bike frame up for the Gemini wheel you can't go back to the thinner axels of any other wheel.
Iam looking for a back rim for a hyper beach Cruzer The back rim was bought on Amazon
Any suggestions for big box sites that are trustworthy?
Let me know how much that frame fs going for
what type gas do these use?
could i get a link to the discord? ive been building a bike for a bit and it wont start, want to get some advice from people who know what they are doing
Bro ozark trail Glide back wheel my sprocket bolted right up to it just took the disc brake off wheel hasn't failed yet
Damn ... i wish i seen that chopper frame this spring before i started to install my yd100 on my schwin chopper.... nothing lines up lol
I have a chopper I can help u gotta get the expensive occ stingray offset motor mounts not cheap but works immediately or you can scrape the sidewall with a chain while having the chain offset from the bottom of the frame
I've got w question for you (or anyone who can answer me). I'm planning on building my first motor bike. Only engine with a kit I could find available in my country (Poland) is a 80cc Martinelli MCMSO00003. Have you ever came across this engine? Or heard any opinions about it? I want to now if this engine is good for a first build or if I should search more or buy an engine from abroad.
PS Love your videos, the info, opinions and just the fottage of you driving your bike around made me decide to make my own bike.
Just Googled them. They look like a standard China Doll with the small frame mount. So you will need to modify the mounting bracket. They aren't going to be of high quality. So if you are paying more than say 80 euro's for it, consider importing a cheap kit from Ali Express. It will be of the same quality.
@@theoriginaldylangreene thanks, will consider
Are the Zeda 80 and Phantom 85 engines made in the USA?
Do they need frequent maintenance such as changing clamping bolts and the like after a short period of use? during the warranty period, if something goes wrong, does the customer pay for the delivery (in my case from Bulgaria)?
If they drive at full throttle for long distances, can this damage the engine for example 20 kilometers a day
when thinking of these bike engines, think about it like this how long would your car last if you put pedal to the metal the whole time, how long would it last & how good would that be for your engine? regular maint. is always a good idea on anything a guy does. better to check it than to regret it.
loosen your chain tension, it does wonders.
La will a zeda 80 move my skinny 120 pound ass up a pretty steep hill
I tried the bikeberry heaby duty rims. The rims the sent me had no groove for actual clincher tires to fit the ridge into. The whole imside was flat. Useless. If someone didn't knkw there should be a groove on the inside of the rim they would be seriously hurt. They also had a terrible incomplete weld that was never even ground down propey
I'm trying to start my bicycle engine and it just won't start. It's trying to start, I can see smoke coming out of it, im trying to pedal as longer as I can but my legs literally give up after 20 or so seconds. Is there any way I can actually get it to start?
Are you using the choke?
There is also the possibility your magnet is installed backwards.
@LAHover yeah it was backwards oops. Yes I have the choke, I'm trying with it closed or open or half, same with throttle. Still nothing, just smoke coming out
@@LAHover Seems the CDI is no good anymore, they seem to be known for burning out quicker. Bought the BBR stage 2 one with the key.
@@LAHover I figured out the problem. After thinking the magneto coil was burned or shorted, I took the wraps off and inspected that it looks good, I rewired it with thicker wires, the magnet wires were swapped wrong. I got it to start now.
@@breezetix I'm getting rusty, I forgot that could be an easy mistake on any build lol.
Congrats!
Is there a working email address where I can write to you? I have some questions and email is going to be the best format for that.
What happened to the discord server ?
🤣💯👍👍👍
Only issue I had was they ship what they want to you out of like 4 orders I didn't get a head and forks for a bike I ordered and to be honest I left a review on their site and it was removed speaking facts be aware of bikeberry
BB's customer support is lacking. Hated doing business with them.
I never understood using an aluminum frame for a gas bike as they have a service life without a motor. They eventually break unlike a steel bike so spending hundreds on a gas bike frame makes no sense to me. Cool looking yes but I want something that will last.
Thank you for some gas bike content the electric was not in my interest I have to catch up on the electric start engine video.
😛
Honestly I’ve been pretty scared to modify my bikes cause my area is bad with these bikes and the cops I’m scared to put a lot of sweat and tears into it and have it taken but now my bike has a rear footbrake and it’s set up well I’m proud of it but I’m scared to get it taken 🤣
Dude there legal
Just don't act a fool around the po-po.
The Bike berry 4 stroke motor is a pretty good motor. Their friction drive kit is a disaster. if you want a much better Friction Drive assembly try Staton friction Bikes. i bought the 49cc Honda motor and kit . Works much better then the Bike berry.
The engines are getting extremely weaker lately especially the crank they are getting smaller I feel that RDM will be the way to go in the future
The thinner crank web, has the benefit of lighter, less rotational mass. Which is a good thing so it'll spin easier/faster and also if balanced, should help with longer engine/bearing life. But has the drawback of more case volume.
If you're planning on splitting a case to balance the crank, you can go ahead & stuff the case along with case port while you're at it.
So I'd rather have the thinner web crank if it's strong enough & doesn't need the extra weight..
I agree 90% of bikeberry is 💩, as a machinist of 17 years I'm actually debating buying a small 5 axis to start making quality performance parts for the industry, sick of all the junk parts hard to find anything good.
gas engines are 999x more beneficial than electric. Gas engines are easily replacable and inexpensive. Electric cost $10x more; parts are vendor specific and rare. The gas engines use simple legacy designs with plentiful parts. Electric is about controlling you, gas engines are about freedom.
LA brother, I gotta tell you bias isnt a good on you. Those non practicle items on bikeberry are for purely aesthetics only which is a huge part of building these things since there isnt much performance to begin with. and i gotta say you have zero taste in making things look good. your builds. wirings allways a mess with velcro everywhere, hose clamps, weird decals and stickers, mismatching color parts ect ect. which is fine you go for purley practicle aspects which makes sense on why you totally missed the mark with your statments
Purely for aesthetics?
This is in the description for their boost bottle.
"This bottle provides a "Boost" or supercharge effect."
"You will notice an awesome upgrade in power and torque."
