Put the red cap back on before trying to push the fuel line back into place along the frame.
Fuel filter should go before the fuel pump, don't rely on that carb filer.

Noticed that too. Should have put a filter on the frame from tank line to frame -pump line where the gentle hose went.

Could not help but notice your lines did not match up after installing the new sending unit. Will that always be the case or did you correct the unit?

Here is a question: Does the height of the fuel line you run, in relation to the tank and fuel pump, mater? To save hassle I'd like to run my new lines over the inner fender to the mechanical fuel pump in my 73 Torino. This rout will bring them over the height of the fuel pump. and back down to it. Does that even matter? Please help.

I was unable to find any hard pipe fuel line on your website. Can you help me out with a link? I'm searching for a 1977 sbc if that matters

From the frame to the fuel pump. My line keeps kinking. Starts out just like yours. Nice long loop but after a month or two it starts to flatten our in the middle of thar loop. Aggravating cuz it's not fun replacing all the time

The fuel pump line to carburetor should have been run directly to the carburetor without the inline filter. Fuel line should be on the inside of the alternator mounting bolt. Not that it matters now, 2 years later.

You're correct. Hard to believe so many "experts" are better suited for other jobs.

Would it be the same process for a 1963 chevy truck

Hi Rico, the process is the same but there will be some variances since your truck is of a different generation.

All that start up proved was that there was fuel in the bowl... it would've started even with no lines.
