It looked delicate. They even handled it like it was. 10 minutes, a 5 year old boy, I mean a boy, not like we see so much of today, his cowboy boots, and him jumping around, would probably look like a hail storm came. But, I'm only guessing.
But, the look just isn't wood. Looks like those vinal boards for decks. I think those would work, and be tough as nails.

Hey LMC - Guys, why don't you re-pop floors for 66 Ford Styleside trucks? There are hundreds of these around and nobody makes one. You have bunches of guys like me that are going to have to jerry-rig a solution that works for our old trucks where the bed is too damaged/rusted for use.
I've got two '66 beds and I'm less than three hours from your corporate headquarters. You can swing down and take any measurements you need to see if you can make something for us. If you can do it, you'll sell a few hundred of them quickly because there are bunches of us trying to figure out what to do.

Traversebean2 Bmx not when you factor in that you may have to refinish or replace regular bed wood twice or 3 times during this ones life span. And you don’t have to baby this like you would regular wood if you want it to look good

It may cost more than a wood bed in the short term
But, when you factor in the fact that you are a lot more likely to have to replace the planks after a certain amount of time, adding in the whole process of finishing the planks top, bottom and edges
It's a lot cheaper in the long term

"How did you wood get all those dents in it?"
"My kid had his cowboy boots on and was jumping up n down in it"
It looks good, but it's impossible, so far, to duplicate the look of real wood with a printer. And it will bend, and dent, I'm guessing not to hard either. The weight issue is good if you race it for sure.
