Thank you for making this video I have a 01 Tahoe and I have to do my fuel lines and this video helps me alot thank you I couldn’t find one video not even close to help me thank you so much
Doing this on 04 Silverado Z71 need take off brack at top of transmission its really back there someplace. Can see bracket from under truck just need to get a socket on it. Dorman says this line kit fits my truck only I don't have an L shape at end of vent return line its straight so will have to figure out something. Its a great kit though decent quality lines. Local shop quoted $750+ for nylon. $240 for braided stainless and little time.
I’m in the process of finding out if it’s both lines or one line! I’m so depressed. Also 02 Chevy Tahoe z71 my first time dealing with this didn’t know this was a known thing
After re watching your video I noticed your truck don’t have a return line I guess base off the models and year of these tahoes cause my 01 Tahoe have a return line etc, thank you again for this video, I’m in the process of replacing my lines
@@ari1234. go directly to the Dorman website. You can get exact fit and part # from there . Then you can compare price directly or from Amazon . Thanks

Yes, it sucks when you’re fixing it but feels good when it’s done.

Yes , unfortunately these things are quite common.
One line is just a vent , but it’s best to replace both . Good luck 👍

It has just the two lines , fuel and vent . I’m not sure if excess fuel will return in the vent line or not . Thanks

I would go directly to the dorm man website, and look up your vehicle. Once you get the part # look around for best price. Good luck .

It's criminal how these lines rot out 😮 you would think that we don't know that stainless steel would prevent this.!!!!
Yes , especially up here in the north east. It is a fight with all the vehicles.

Where's the fuel filter. I didn't see one.
The filter is on the pump inside the tank. Thanks .
No it’s not, The fuel filter should be right next to the abs and you shouldn’t leave a vehicle without any , the fuel pump has its own filter
@@Dj_jon 2002 and later no longer had the inline filter .
