Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Jon Theodore played that drum intro for over three minutes. Now granted it's not a hard beat if you know how to play drums but he didn't waver even a fraction of a BPM.....every single kick & snare was absolute perfection from start to finish. Sounds easy but it's really not

My fav queens song, but it just isn't it without Nick screaming the hell out of it... I'm still waiting and hoping for Josh to let Mikey scream this one, he seems like he could pull it off decently enough...
@@pepe7drum it depends it is nice to have the possibility to listen to multiple Bands which normally dont play in you area or you are not the biggest fan of.
@@Daddy53751 I recommend you to go to a festival at least once, it is fun don't get me wrong but it is really exhausting and expensive as fuck, they ruined the experience with their VIP areas.
@@thorben3625 Yeah thats maybe the best way to know new artists but other than the musical experience theres nothing really attractive to festivals for me at least
Spider-Man: Far From Homme
Now this is THE comment right here
A+
Then after the show….
Spider-Man: Hommecoming
Genius
So good.

Drummer of 20 years here, couldn't agree more mate! Theodore is a beast
People don't understand how hard it is to stay perfectly in time, one mistake and everything gets thrown off, he probably has a metronome but still
Hard to even notice he was playing with 1 stick for a few secs at 4:52
Oh yeah when Homme says "are you ready?" I'm like "the drummer sure is!"
all i could think about the entire time
Josh saying "bring me spiderman" like he's some sort of villain tickles the fuck out of me
"Bring me Spiderman" is a phrase I would've NEVER expected to hear at a QOTSA concert. 😂
Respect to the drummer for keeping that rhythm going
Well its his job basically :D
I'm prett sure John Theodore can keep whatever rythm they hit him with
How bad ass is Jon for caring that intro for so long?
He´s a fucking metronome. Amazing.
Spider-Man, come up on stage.
30 seconds later…
Spider-Man, get the fuck off the stage
I just realized I'm too drunk for your spider ass to be near me
Can we just appreciate Jon Theodore on that drum intro. He didnt miss a fucking beat!!
3.20 drum intro lol
Facts 💯💯💯💯💯
Credit to Jon for blasting that floor tom through the entirety of Spider-Man 4
Rumor has it...the drummer is still playing that beat.
Spiderman crowdsurfing up is legendary 😂
It happened again this year, yesterday! What a legend
And John Theodore left there after five years drumming the battery
@@franciscojaviermaritano3686Hahahahaha
Respect to the drummer for going on that long without missing a beat
Jon Theodore is a badass
"My spidey sense is tingling and it's saying get the fuck off the stage now"
Imma use that from now on
I just come here once a week to hear Jon Theodore nail that steady rock beat for two minutes or so haha gotdammnn fire 🔥
F'n facts
They crowd surfed him up to the front I’m dying 🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
1:07 “Be gentle with him. He’s a hero”
Do you know that now there is a sequel?
They met again on Wercher 2023 .
Absolute legends
NO WAAAY
that drummer is strong as fuck lol
He has to be, being in QOTSA- eyeballs out, balls rollocking drumming!
He's the former drummer for The Mars Volta so homie has chops
New No Way Home promo looks amazing.
amazing comment
No way homme
And people are confused as to why people like concerts. You experience EVERYTHING!
No one is confused as to why people like concerts.
"bring me spiderman" could be a good name for song
Evanescence: Bring me to life
QOTSA: Bring me Spiderman
DRUMMER EARNED HIS MONEY THAT SONG!
1:38 bill hader looking proud as shit
Its barry
Literally adorable
Kudos to Jon Theodore, what a stamina..
My arm wouldve fallen off after that haha
Spider Man aside, I think Josh should let Mikey sing it, my guy screams his guts out but he's relegated to backing vocals.
With the help of a proco rat on his mic tho
Those first few note of the guitar are just so powerful.
Jon is a machine
The lack of Nick’s vocals will always make this sound incomplete
But Josh makes it work with his vocals when it shouldn’t
As a life long musician and guitarist, that intro riff is probably the sexiest guitar riff I have ever heard in my whole fucking life.
Thats how a proper rock band should sound these days
Crowd surfing at QOTSA dressed as Spiderman getting your junk grouped and then going on stage , - now that's a story
Like meeting Bill Murry, and having him steal your whiskey sour, no one will believe you
@@devinsullivan6160 No one believes me when I tell them i got a rattlesnake high once that I almost stepped on why I was hiking with a buddy and had that as a bright idea...But it happened.
This is literally the greatest Crowd Surf ever 👍👍👍👍👍
This was his canon event.
1:08 Bin Laden and Spidey, best gig ever.
i just noticed bin laden 😭😭😭
What an absolute fucking Viking Josh Homme is.
The sound when the guitar starts is so powerful
You cannot start a QOTSA set without this song!
No you end on it. You let the crowd fall silent… and then the drums kick in
That poor drummer. Champ 🏆
The stance that Josh Homme took at 1:21 had me rollin 🤣
This band sounds better live than in their studio recordings. It's remarkable.
Yeah, they are incredible!
Josh Homme channeling J. Jonah Jameson there for a sec.
"BRING ME SPIDER MAN!"
This song just isn't the same without Nick screaming his guts out at the beginning....
And all the way through
I come for the spider man, i stay for the music ;)
By the sounds of it, Josh Homme came for the Spider-Man as well.
Fun fact. Spider-Man appearing in a Queens of the Stone Age Concert. Plus their song "No One Knows." Equals...
Spec-tacular! Spec-tacular! Spider-Man!
wrong song tho
@@bucsbraves What do you mean?
@@maxxgunner5573 this song isn't "no one knows" unless I misunderstood you
@@bucsbraves You definitely misunderstood. I'm referring to that this band, famous for their particular separate song "No One Knows" and The Spectacular Spider-Man Theme Song sound parallel, to me.
1:40 I was like why is Bill Hader playing with the Queens???
Thank you! I came to the comments to make sure I wasn't the only one thinking that.
Hahaha. Totally thought the same thing. 😂
same
Heaven is that snare drum exploding on repeat for eternity.
Even for a master POWERHOUSE like JT, that intro is brutal to play for three minutes, total champ!!!!
Best 5 minute Spider man movie.
Spidey was the Hero in all of this.
Josh Homme in 2003: "This is MY fucking stage!"
Josh Homme in 2018: "Bring me Spiderman!!"
He got it out of the way just in modern manners.
Watching this in 2023, it seems like a world apart. Long live music!
I am so glad they are headlining so many festivals this summer
You think I aint worth a spider but I feel like a man
lmao. that kind of commentary is why I love youtube :D
“Spider-Man! Dr. Octopus has taken over the city! Help us!!!”
“Can’t bro. The Queens hit the stage at 8.”
“I understand.”
Fair enough 😂
He came back in 2023!!!

Nick did like s singy scream where Mikey just kinda screams like psychotic killer
Props to the drummer for holding that beat what felt like a fuckin half hour until Spidey man finally showed up lol
Jon Theodore is one of the best drummers out there.
The way I would instantly fall pregnant just from hearing this live
Yes! 😂😂😂
Spiderman Homecoming
Spiderman Far from Home
Spiderman No way home
Spiderman Josh Homme Coming
Spiderman making cumming josh homme
Carefully, he’s a hero
This dude live swag is on another level
That is the greatest crowd crowd surf ever!!
We might never know who's behind the costume but we sure know damn well he felt like a millionaire that day ❤
That might be a record for the longest crowd surf. (Distance)
Nobody:
Josh Homme: BRING ME SPIDERMAN!
That drummer man......oooft. 😍 ♥
You either came here to bitch about the vocals or for spiderman. Either way, I'm still rocking out.
"Careful, he's a hero"
Underrated comment
I love this song !
Mexicola is one of the baddest hard pounding rockers I’ve heard in my 54 years. Bangs
Meanwhile drummer: "bruh when guitar will already kick in?"
he's in it for the long haul
Thats Jon Theodore, he does that every day, all day. Check out the band One Day As Lion. His drumming is insane.
"Come to me Spiderman" 🤣🤣
Josh Homme is basically just Mr. Incredible if he left behind his crappy job and superhero side hustle
They pulled out of madcool this year and I’m not over it, what a band
I went from the other side of the world to see them at Mad Cool and they dropped out :/
Deftones was amazing tho
For a band,
Festivals have just gotta be the best thing ever!
But not so much for the crowd

Drummer loses his stick at 4:54!!
Jon Theodore; the man who can deal with Omar and Cedric’s TMV trips 👏
