- The eventual fate of famed professional gamer/streamer/and content creator Daequan Loco or TSM Daequan has been somewhat of a mystery ever since he randomly disappeared in early 2020. He was once a legend in the Fortnite community, leaving many fans questioning his eventual fate.

I feel for you Daequan 😥 That happened to me. I was sick for a year and I didn’t know what I had. I also got depressed because I thought I wouldn’t get better. 😢 And then I got better after a year and a half. I feel for you and I hope you feel way better soon. We all love you!

It's extreme anxiety dude. I had insane stomach problems when I was growing up. I was always in pain always nauseated and I'd be in the hospital very often. I've been on medication for a long time but I honestly didn't think I'd make it when I was young

Dude is not obligated to create content for us even if he's feeling better, he's clearly been through a lot his mental health comes first and foremost.
I really feel for Daequan. Dealing with health issues and navigating the U.S. Healthcare system is no joke: it's not only physically and mentally draining, but also financially draining. Medical bills can also add to more stress and depression, especially if treatments are not covered by insurance. Kudos to him for trying to remain optimistic regarding each new year being "his year" and opening the doors to an honest conversation regarding mental health. I hope that his health and his family's health has improved and he is able to live the life that he loves.

My buddy went thru those same stomach issues. They never found anything wrong and boiled it down to extreme anxiety. Overthinking and over-worrying about legitimately everything about life. It would immobilize him for days. Thinking about going to school the next day would send his stomach to the gulag. Always felt bad for him, he’s a lot better now.
I’m glad he’s doing better I hope one day they find out what is the cause of that and something to heal it or help it

I had never heard of Daequam before this vidoe, likely owning to my negative interest in Fortnite, but even then I can't help but feel sad about this whole situation. He's clearly an extremely likable dude and seems to exudes a friendly charisma, that I can't say I see too often. I wish him all the best moving forward and hope he can be happy.

So, from my own personal experiences for 15+ years, he could very well have a bowel disease. I personally have Ulcerative Colitis of which I had to see 8+ doctors just for a diagnosis and it got so bad my mum literally pleaded with doctors because she thought I wasn’t going to make it. He could very likely have Colitis, Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease which are all very painful and can cause anxiety and/or depression because you’re in severe pain and unable to do anything. Every time I go to the hospital for a flare up, I have to have a mental health check up to see how I’m doing because I’m usually in pain for months at a time, put on medications and if it doesn’t work then I have to go to the hospital. It’s not something that can be cured, it can be maintained for some time (depending on the person) but you still need to have frequent check ups to make sure you don’t get cancer. Stress can make it x10 worse, which could be another reason why his online presence is nonexistent.

I’ve actually blocked out a lot of what I went through when I first got diagnosed because of how traumatising it was for me as a kid being in the hospital as sick as I was. Hospitals also still cause me severe anxiety even if I’m just visiting for an infusion or colonoscopy.

I think we all miss the golden era of fortnite. I never played but my husband was a huge fan. He’d stay up half the night laughing with his friends and he would get so excited over the battle passes, holiday themes, new seasons, etc. It was a big deal in our home. But now, he has lost interest and now just plays FIFA. It’s a completely different vibe because now he just gets mad at fifa and complains about it being rigged. This video brought me to tears as it reminded me of the good old days of watching Daequan and Hemlinz with him and just enjoying his enjoyment with playing Fortnite.

I just want to admit that I've been going through the exact same thing as Daequan man... since 2016. I've been "Quarantined" since 2016... I moved in this room and haven't changed anything. I got a cat, yet this past year has been extremely low for me... I met a girl last year and I was the happiest ever, but after 3 months I just don't enjoy talking to anyone or anything. I've been in relationships that we both have depression so I know how to act, i'm surprised she even is dealing with me and she is in the same boat as me. We love each other and It's looking better. I just want to say that I used to work construction for years, I don't cry often. Doesn't mean much if you literally don't even want to clean your room, or even want to gain a great job. Nothing matters as much as the feeling of not caring. I starve myself, maybe one meal every 24-48 hours. I mostly only clean my room for my cat. I can't let the cat suffer. I love him too much and he only deserves the best. But doing these daily little things kept me sane, and keeps me on track to aim for a job in health care. Depression sucks, but thats no reason to not help others, and that's mostly the only joy I ever feel.
EDIT: I also want to clarify, i've felt ups and downs since I can remember. I've always had sleep pattern delays, stomach aches (went to hospital for ultra sound, x-rays, everything, missed school, got bullied, wanted to kms more, last day of elementry got beat up by all the boys, middle school changed everything, i started to love school.) , abit of chest pains mostly due to anxiety, I've stayed up for almost 4 days, siblings have suici- thoughts, so it's very well chemical for me. Anddd I take nothing for it. Got to either take it and understand it, or get help, because you'd need someone very, very close to you that understands/loves you, and knows if your personality changes due to medication/drugs if you do choose pills, or go for some other direction like hobbies to keep mind full and trying to find joy.
All countries that i've seen are pretty terrible for mental health with some ways of either too much pills or too little attention, or just lack of care due to laws. They are all increasingly getting better over time though. I wish you all the best.
