Having been an avid viewer of him for about 3 months a few years back it makes sense that he left. He'd been competitively gaming for over a decade & half. He isn't some young gun that is freshly into comp gaming. He had his experience ruined by "fans". I damn sure miss watching the Liquid guys & him playing together & fortnite all together but he's moved onto bigger & better things hopefully.
The amount of these profile pieces that start with “In the beginning, all was well, Fortnite’s popularity was growing...” Damn... this internet game is cold 🥶🥶🥶
I was never big on fortnite, i was mostly just dragged to play it, but its a real shame to see this happen. I send my regards, and i hope he can face the light again and atleast make some people happy again, even if it means over reacting.
It’s crazy just how accurate this story shows your usual ark for celebrity lives, or even just being successful in the first place: you’re tirelessly working towards a goal, getting closer and closer as you do, until you reach that climax where your life is just PERFECT. But after like a week, you realize you don’t have a goal anymore, you get bored with your current state, and it just goes downhill from there. That’s what happened here, at least that’s what I think
My favourite streamer of all time, still hoping you return 1 day, if you ever see this HD thank you for what you did and us true fans still await your return even if it never comes, good luck with everything from your fans in England

found this guy on twitch in prime dayz days sad all his old videos are gone. when i did hop on fortnite watched him hella but felt very different. Sad he deleted all old videos, and now oldest is fortnite
Men, i miss the first seasons of fortnite up to the update that firstly globally changed the map. this was fun, especially watching dakotaz and highdistortion
I really feel for HD, I hope he was able to keep some money on the side for the future. We all go through ups and downs and his was just amplified through internet fame and fortnite, he needs to stop being so hard on himself and carry on with the incredible success he did achieve
I hope he can return someday, even if it isn't a career, and even if he doesn't receive as much attention before, everything he achieved back then is still just as much of an achievement now. Why not add to the list further? Though I hope if he returns, he does it because he enjoys it, and he learns to not take comments made against him personally, it is difficult, but he'd pop off if he made smart jokes back and laughed about the situation on top of his insane gaming ability.
I love this content, you don't change the conversation, you try and base it purely on facts whilst also trying to keep it monotone and full of information! Keep it up man, subscribed and I hope I see more gems like this from you.

Jimmy is literally good at any game he touches, he always gets the best possible rank. The guy is just naturally talented at gaming, his issue is.. he gets tilted easily as people well know. Being emotional can ruin anyone’s games. I believe he got depressed after a fall out with a girl he was “dating”.
I’m someone who is more than content with being small. If one day I do a stream and get big with in a year, big freaking whoop, but my hope is that anyone in that position doesn’t let it change them. Only time will tell I guess. Don’t let others get an emotional reaction from, it’s what their looking for. I was bullied a lot in middle school and high school. The only thing they want most is to provoke an emotionally charged reaction so that they can feel superior. I hope he’s do better.
It's sad that people get their confidence SOOO much from the internet and what strangers on the internet think. Live your life. You've only got one and pandering to what kids like is not how I would want to live it either.
I find this quite sad tbh, it's very demotivating when views fall and whatnot, but the way his "fanbase" treated him and he clearly seems depressed, this is the kinda shit that could push someone like that over the edge. I hope he's alright.
From first hand experience: Playing for an audience is very different than playing for yourself ... when the two do not correlate, the first becomes very hard to continue to do. On top of this, it gets to the point where you can't play without talking/putting on a show/delivering entertainment ... If you're one of those streamers who is highly attached to a single game, you're eventually going to hit this wall (just like Ninja)
Ehh everybody has a main game that they play 90% of the time. If you market yourself as a multi game streamer, you won't shoot yourself in the foot later on. What benefits guys like ninja is that alot of people knew him from halo before fortnite. Same with nickmercs and gears of war/cod. same with shroud from csgo
I miss this guy,his fans aren’t loyal. It hurts…bad too see him gone, it was the fins too me listen to this story and just see it was most likely that, because he had bunches of motivation then it just fell bc of them

@@DaRealKovi im expecting him to make a vid about jack the ripper tbh
@@cloroxbleach6807 that will be crazy
@@cloroxbleach6807 haha yes
6:18 The best part is that this happened is Salty Springs 😂
Having been an avid viewer of him for about 3 months a few years back it makes sense that he left. He'd been competitively gaming for over a decade & half. He isn't some young gun that is freshly into comp gaming. He had his experience ruined by "fans". I damn sure miss watching the Liquid guys & him playing together & fortnite all together but he's moved onto bigger & better things hopefully.
I hope he’s having a good time with his bodybuilding
That's wild I forgot about this UA-camr, I remember he was insane at this game in its prime
The amount of these profile pieces that start with “In the beginning, all was well, Fortnite’s popularity was growing...”
Damn... this internet game is cold 🥶🥶🥶
This man deserves so many more subs he be crushing vids out here 🤙
Holy shit.
I'm currently in a come-down state in my life. Amazing video, the ending was perfection
I really like your editing keep the great work
If I ever go missing and the police try looking for me, by all means, tell them to ask for this dude's help. He will find me in a week or so.
I'm sure senjougahara will find you
Lmao
Good news
Plz do cdnthe3rd next. I remember back in the day he had a facecam and hundreds of thousands of views. But now he streams without a facecam and gets 5k views a video. He deleted all his videos which have his face.
I just realized like all of the og fortnite players all fell off. Ninja, myth, HD, dakotaz....
@@-l-l3187i mean not everyone, tim, nickmercs, tfue, lannan, and lachy are still doing well
@@jakecollen1776 well Tim, nick and tfue quit like a couple years ago and lachy and lannan weren't popular when the game first came out
@@-l-l3187 dakotaz had a bit of a bump again when among us was popular but he seems to be doing pretty badly right now.

6:05 that one teammate eating pop corn while listening
found this guy on twitch in prime dayz days sad all his old videos are gone. when i did hop on fortnite watched him hella but felt very different.
Just like he cant have a job
I hope he can return someday, even if it isn't a career, and even if he doesn't receive as much attention before, everything he achieved back then is still just as much of an achievement now. Why not add to the list further? Though I hope if he returns, he does it because he enjoys it, and he learns to not take comments made against him personally, it is difficult, but he'd pop off if he made smart jokes back and laughed about the situation on top of his insane gaming ability.
HD sounds like he’s going through a depressive phase. This is really sad! Hope he’s getting the help he needs!
I love this content, you don't change the conversation, you try and base it purely on facts whilst also trying to keep it monotone and full of information! Keep it up man, subscribed and I hope I see more gems like this from you.
Me: Who tf is this I really don’t care about them.
Me 20 minutes later: *subscribed*
@OwO stop spamming this vid everywhere, it’s fucking SAD this is the way you have to get views/recognized
@@FLyGODSLY lol thx for being a decent human being unlike….
It’s a bot
I think you missed a big aspect of it. Skill-based matchmaking was implemented, preventing him from pubstomping bots (what lower skill players were called at the time) which brought him to that viral fame.
So sad I remember watching him in szn 1 he was the best. Then I saw his rage clips and it was just uncomfortable. I’m praying for him 🙏
I remember watching this dude a few years ago and considering him the best fortnite player out there.
HD was easily one of the best to do it. Always watched him and dakotaz and the rest of the OG players
bro i miss HD the early days of fortnite were soo nice i watched every video of HD and so much streams... really sad but i hope hes doing good IRL and he will be always a goat in fortnite and streaming history
Hope he gets better and doesen't give up on his dreams and what he want to do. I used to watch him a lot in the start of the fortnite hype. Hope he finds some other game that he really likes him self and enjoy.
Damn it’s sad to think that that one stream sniper who made him rage was 99% of why he hit rock bottom and just gave up on everything (the other 1% was fn dying down)
It sounds like he’s going through a depressive episode…
Dakotaz type depression?
Damn bro. I remember when he had most kills in fortnite and I loved watching his streams over other big ones like Tfue, Ninja, etc. Miss him :(
God dude it’s crazy looking at this because I stopped playing the game and watching the streamers but I always wished the best for them no matter what and it’s just sad to see HD like this man
Hes much better now
So many fortnite UA-camrs have just disappeared 💀 it’s basically minecraft UA-camrs like stampy all over again
Ye TSM aswell
It’s gonna be very interesting in a few years when we begin to see the fall of a lot of Minecrafters again
Its atually really upsetting that a streamer you love and have watched for a long time has just well...given up so a say or has well been hurtened by others so a say
This editing is so good 😩
yeah and thingy is back now but not to fortnite
I was a big fan of HD. Him Dakota and CDN were a great combo. Wish him the best.
"Lifetime failure" man hope he's okay...
You can call these bots lifetime failure
Thank you for having that rage clip. I was hoping it was going to be a part of the video 😂
Hd and Dk had really great energy together. I'll remember those old streams forever.
Used to watch him back in the day, sad to find out he’s left the gaming world
Jimmy is literally good at any game he touches, he always gets the best possible rank. The guy is just naturally talented at gaming, his issue is.. he gets tilted easily as people well know. Being emotional can ruin anyone’s games. I believe he got depressed after a fall out with a girl he was “dating”.
Even though I don’t watch him like that anymore.I have respect for him doing what he wants to do. Fuck the fame worry about your mental 😌💪🏾
this was a very sad video man miss HD watched him all the time since first days of fortnite damn :(
I’m someone who is more than content with being small.
5:59
Guys I don't think he can take it
Mad seeing him and dakotaz back in dakotaz’s recent video sadly they seem like they’ve been majorly forgotten
I find this quite sad tbh, it's very demotivating when views fall and whatnot, but the way his "fanbase" treated him and he clearly seems depressed, this is the kinda shit that could push someone like that over the edge. I hope he's alright.
Great video, as aways, Sunny.
Though I feel you gave yourself some unneeded criticism, with the Joe Rogan clip. It fits what’s happening perfectly.
Who are you
Ok 3 subs
True Man U find a new game and then find it so good bit eventually it just dries out even though you don’t think it will
Ehh everybody has a main game that they play 90% of the time. If you market yourself as a multi game streamer, you won't shoot yourself in the foot later on. What benefits guys like ninja is that alot of people knew him from halo before fortnite. Same with nickmercs and gears of war/cod. same with shroud from csgo
@@LedZeppelinxBROx ninja did halo, h1z1, pubg, and fortnite he mainly just hopped on trendy games
Sunny I love your vids man! You should do a video about Marcus Dibble. Really interesting subject!
I miss this guy,his fans aren’t loyal. It hurts…bad too see him gone, it was the fins too me listen to this story and just see it was most likely that, because he had bunches of motivation then it just fell bc of them
damn, bro, this guy makes the best videos genuinely we need more people on youtube like him he just makes amazing videos and isn't afraid to make videos about lots of people that most people have probably forgotten example L for lee I forgot he even existed.
Sunny if you're reading this which u probably arent please make a Scott Cawthon
Can we please have something about the rise and slow decline of PewDiePie? I get that would take ages but I would love to see that..
He just doesn't try hard anymore
@@clevercode30 I agree these recent ones haven't been great
He has been on UA-cam for a long time now and is also married. He doesn't need to try too hard anymore and that's fine. He seems to be way more chill now
I still would like to see something about one of the big creators
he's basically retired already, he just uploads for fun now
This makes me want to not watch UA-cam, twitch, Instagram, TikTok, etc. all these people who get insta famous for 3 months and then forgotten about. Non of us are prepared for that.
I can’t even believe how underrated this channel is.
